Folder 10 – Frosted Guava Auto B Week 4 | Vegetation – The Quiet Climber Welcome back to The 8×8 Adventure, a project where twelve unique cultivars are being grown side by side inside the same environment, allowing every genetic to express its own personality under identical conditions. Each plant is documented individually because no two phenotypes tell the same story. Even when they share the same genetics, subtle differences in structure, vigor and flowering behaviour make every diary unique. Frosted Guava Auto B is proving exactly that. Although she shares the tent with her sister, she has developed her own character. Slightly taller, equally healthy, and every bit as determined, she’s entering the next chapter of her life with confidence. Our 12/12-from-seed journey continues, and this week marks another exciting milestone as the first signs of flowering begin to appear. ⸻ 🌱 Week 4 – A Compact Plant With Her Own Personality While Plant B has stretched just a little more than her sister, she remains a very compact autoflower compared to many of the other cultivars sharing this 8×8 room. Instead of investing her energy into vertical growth, she has focused on producing tight internodal spacing, sturdy branches and a surprisingly balanced structure. Looking around the room, it’s already clear that Frosted Guava is unlikely to become one of the tallest ladies of the garden—but height has never been the goal. Sometimes the smallest plants surprise us with the biggest harvests. Her canopy is filling beautifully, each node producing healthy new growth that will soon become flowering sites. Every day she looks more organized, more symmetrical and more prepared for what comes next. ⸻ 🌿 Gentle Training, Natural Development Just like her sister, Plant B has only received gentle Low Stress Training throughout her early life. Rather than forcing the plant into shape, I’ve focused on carefully bending large fan leaves, tucking foliage away from developing shoots and allowing natural light penetration into the centre of the canopy. This subtle approach has encouraged multiple branches to grow evenly without creating unnecessary stress. The result is a plant that still looks completely natural while developing a much more open canopy. Sometimes patience is the best training technique. ⸻ 🌸 Pre-Flower Has Officially Begun This week brings one of my favourite moments of every grow. Tiny white pistils have started appearing throughout the upper nodes, confirming that Frosted Guava Auto B has officially entered the pre-flowering stage. One of the most fascinating aspects of this 12/12-from-seed experiment is watching these autoflowers transition into bloom without hesitation. Rather than waiting for a long vegetative period, they simply follow their own internal clock. Despite her compact size, she’s wasting no time. The foundation has been built, and now the real show is about to begin. Over the coming weeks, I’ll be watching closely to see whether she delivers a modest stretch or stays true to her compact structure while focusing her energy on dense flower production. Either way, she’s looking incredibly promising. ⸻ 🌡️ Environmental Conditions The room continues to provide a stable environment for all twelve cultivars despite the warmer summer temperatures. Substrate Temperature: 21°C • 💦 Nutrient Solution Temperature: 26°C • ⚗️ pH: 6.1 • ⚡ EC: 1.35 mS/cm • ☁️ CO₂: 639 ppm • 💧 Water Consumption: 1.1 litres per plant per day Even with daytime temperatures reaching 33°C, Plant B continues showing excellent colour, strong leaf posture and vigorous growth, demonstrating how well she’s adapting to the environment. ⸻ Feeding Schedule This week’s feeding remained simple and consistent, allowing the plant to continue building healthy vegetative growth before fully committing to flowering. Per litre • Terra Grow — 1.8 ml • Power Roots — 1 ml • Pure Zym — 1 ml • Sugar Royal — 1 ml Adjusted using: • pH Plus — 0.03 ml • Lemon Kick — 0.03 ml The Plagron feeding programme continues delivering exactly what these plants need at this stage—healthy roots, lush green foliage and vigorous, stress-free development. ⸻ 💡 Lighting The entire 8×8 garden continues to thrive beneath the outstanding Future of Grow LED fixtures. Uniform light distribution across the canopy has helped every cultivar develop evenly, while allowing each phenotype to express its own natural growth pattern. It’s fascinating walking through the room and seeing twelve completely different personalities growing under exactly the same environmental conditions. Frosted Guava Auto B is a perfect example of how genetics shape the plant just as much as the environment. ⸻ 🌱 Looking Ahead Week four closes with Plant B looking healthy, balanced and full of potential. She’s entering flower with strong branching, vibrant foliage and a structure that promises excellent light penetration throughout the canopy. While some cultivars in the room are already showing more vertical ambition, Frosted Guava B seems determined to stay compact and focus her energy where it matters most. The coming weeks will reveal whether this translates into dense, resin-packed flowers—but for now, she’s ticking every box. 6. Woche Das Training hat soweit gut geklappt und jetzt dürfen die Ladys sich auf die Bloom konzentrieren 😊

7/6 Plants looked great thos morning. I WATERED A GALLON to the 50 and split one between the two tens. Top of the bags are still moist amd they still have some heft. I'm hoping this will at least carry me 48hrs. These are BIG plants and the wind goes right through those bags and dries them out. I'd rather have that though than worry about overwatering. I noticed some minor deficiencies on a couple plants so it's time to start the nutes. Calcium I'd guess. Just a beginning stage but it's time. Next feeding they'll get some food too. I'll still monitor during the day to make sure they ront dry out. It's amazing how fast they come back after they dry out but it stresses them. EDIT: I WENT OVER AROUND 2OM AND IT WAS OVERCAST AND 83°. ALL THE PLANTS LOOKED GREAT AND ALL OF THEM WERE STILL SLIGHTLY NOIST EXCEPT THE 10TH PLANET. THEY ALL HAD SOME HEFT TO THEM TOO. THE SUN IS OUT BRIGHTER NOW BUT IT MAY RAIN TONIGHT AND CONSIDERING HOW GOOD THE PLANTS LOOKED I THINK IVE FOUND MY CORRECT WATERING RATIO. IM NOT GOIMG TO 9VET WATER IN THESE GROW BAGS WITH ALL THIS WIND. I NOTICED SOME FOUR LINED PLANT BUG MARKS ON ONE OF THE LITTLE PLANTS AND REMOVED A FEW LEAVES FROM THAT THIRSTY 10TH PLANET THAT COULD BE SEPTORIA. IM GOING TO TREAT IT BUT I HAVENT DECIDED WITH WHAT YET. I MEAN I NEED TO MAKE SURE ITS NOT JUST PESTS OR WATER SPLASHES FIRST TOO. I'VE BEEN PRETTY SANITARY THIS YEAR. IF I HAD A PLANT THAT DIDNT RESPOND TO TREATMENT AND IT WAS INDEED LEAF SEPTORIA I THINK ID RATHER SACRIFICE THE PLANT THAN RISK SPREADING IT. IM PROBABLY JUMPING THE GUN BUT I NEED TO BE READY IN CASE THAT'S THE CASE. IF NOT FOR LOCAL LAWS I WOULD THE PLANT ISOLATED. BUT IM TALKING I PULLED MAYBE FOUR LEAVES OUT OF THE LEAFIEST BUNCH AND INSPECTED EVERYTHING. 7/7 We got thunder storms last in the afternoon and last night. For at least 45 mins it rained harder than I've EVER seen it. Pure sheet rain. It turned over to heavy rain before moving out. The plan was to water everything this morning and start feeding. As I said in the video the soul was still moist amd the bags still had some heft. Not like I just watered them though. I stopped by a local dispo on my way home and talked with the best grower I personally know (thanks Junior) and his advice was the same as what I was planning. I planned on going around noon to check them. He said I could probably wait until like six and then when I do water give them like a 1 1/2 gallons to make up for that monsoon we had earlier. I showed him the video and explained how I have been watering. My intuition feels good about this. I may go check on them earlier but I don't think it's necessary. As usual I'll update as I go. EDIT: AS SUGGESTED (WELL I SPLIT THE DIFFERENCE) I WENT OVER TO FIND ALL NY PLANTS LOOKING GORGEOUS EXCEPT THE 10TH PLANET REVEG THAT WAS A "LITTLE" SAGGY. I LIFTED THEM AND FELT THE SOIL IN THE BAGS. I DECIDED ON WATERING AS PLANNED EVEN THOUGH IT MIGHT HAVE MADE IT UNTIL NORNING. THIS WAS MY WATERING DAY ANYWAY. HOWEVER I ONLY WATERED 1 GAL PER 20 1.5 FOR 30 AND .5 FOR 10. I THINK THAT WILL WORK OUT GREAT WITH THE UPCOMING COOLER TEMPS. IT WAS SO HOT. DIDNT HAVE TIME BUT SHIT IS LOOKING GOOD. 7/8 Finally that hot streak has broken. It's in the 70s and it rained a little last night. Had to use an iPhone and send it to me because my phone was dead. My plan worked out great and everything is looking fantastic. We may get some rain tonight but I'll be watching the forecast. I DO need to feed and may do that. I might wait until next week. I also need to figure out what to do about that four lined plant bug. The birds that perch on my cage do a good job getting pests. Knock on wood I haven't seen many. I killed one pillar and there's just that four lined plant bug. That's really the only damage. I'd Hate to spray my girls with a bunch of shit over ONE bug. We shall see and I'll keep this updated. 7/9 Phone was dead this morning. Went back over later and defoliated a little bit. On reveg ive found a few spots that look like it could be septoria. Could be splash up or a million other things too. The birds have been taking care of pillars. I've found two this season which were promptly killed. Everything looked good. We are in much cooler weather now. Still high 70s with at least 90%rh. Could have showers but I need to keep up with my watering. I kept with the increase and watered everything with 2 gallons. With the exception of the 50 and the two 10's the 50 I skipped and each 10 got 1 gallon. Now it's time for a shout out. I get my seeds from North atlantic seed company. They have a sister company @dirtybirdgenetics which produces amazing strains that flourish in Maine. N.A.S.C has always used me good but this will be my first dirty bird grow next year. None of this was necessary but it's greatly appreciated. The hand written note put a huge smile on my face. 7/10 Rained last night. Phone won't charge so I used an iPhone and uploaded some pictures and a video. Plants are looking good but I've noticed "a" leaf with pillar markings. It's time to start feeding. I'm not sure if I'll start tonight or next watering. I'm not really sure. Any deficiencies are minor. I need to check my supply and see what I'm going to use. I'm suprised I haven't seen any wpm (knock on wood) with rh so high and "rolling mists". Happy 7/10 to those that indulge in oil. 7/11 Hurried morning. Watered this morning. I watered the ones that drink more with two gallons and a couple that were heavier got 1.5 gallons and the 10's got about a gallon apiece. I also fed for the first time this year. Plants are still in that transition stage and are starting to stretch. I still have nutes left on hand. I used I tsp grow big, .5 tsp cal mag and 2 tsp big bloom (per gallon) just to see how they react. I mixed two gallons and gave everything a little less than a powerade bottle I think is 1.75 pints. I can tell that some of the leaves aren't as lush green as they were. It's time to start feeding. Probably past time. Next year I'll probably go organic all the way bit this year I'm just going to be doing the same thing I have in years past. If it's not broke don't fix it. I have liquid kool bloom and some other nutes for later on in flowering. I'll be looking at nutes today but I'll probably stick with what I've been using. I also am considering plant doctor for the 10th planet that LOOKS like it may have a small case of septoria and I'm not even sure. It looks like splash back to me but we'll see. No wpm so far though. The birds are really doing great with pest control. I'll still be using BT a little bit later on. 7/12 Plants looked great this morning. I decided that if I treat its going to be with plant doctor. Most plants have hairs so I'm reluctant to use copper. I'm reluctant in general. But the plant that seems to expose a leave or two is a reveg and will be the first one thatci treat. I also went to get nutes and found my grow store turned into a "feed" store. I bought some fresh big bloom as that's all that was available. Then after purchase the cashier explained they still HAD the NUMERIOUS shelves of nutes (pretty much everything) but it took up to much room and was "spilling" the legit are wasting store space on packaged seeds opposed to the high end nutes they are known for. Whatever. I'm doing what my buddy said and to do what I do every year. If its not broke don't fix it. I'm think9ng of treating with plant doctor tomm. Or next watering. EDIT: ONE MORE VIDEO. WENT OVER AROUND FOUR AND PLANTS ALL LOOK HAPPY. THEY LIKED THE NUTES BUT I ASSUME I'LL HAVE TO UP THE REGINEN. SEEING HOW THE WEATHER IS COOLER ILL PROBABLY WATER EVERYTHING A LITTLE LESS. ILL TREAT THE INFECTED 10TH PLANET WITH PLANT DOCTOR AFTER I WATER. PLANTS ARE IN THAT ASPARGUS STAGE AND QRE EXPERIENCING SOME STRETCHING. I'VE DEALT WITH SEPTORIA A FEW TIMES. IF I WAS ABLE TO ID ISOLATE THE PLANT. I GO MYLTIPLE TIMES A DAY AND MAKE SURE THETE IS NO INFECTED GROWTH. LUCKILY (OR POSSIBLY UNLUCKILY AS IT MAY HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO ITS INFECTION) ITS A REVEG SO IT HAS LITERALLY TONS OF FOLIAGE. INSTEAD OF PRUNING IVE JUST REMOVED THE LEAVES THAT A SORE LANDED ON. I CANT WAIT TO WATCH THESE GIRLS FLOWER.

Brachiale Buds, Intensiver Geruch, Vorfreude auf den geschmack ! so kann man die Woche in kürze beschreribe. DIe Buds werden immer dicker und die Ladys reifen immer mehr vor sich hin : bald muss ich wieder das Microscope raus suchen um die Trichome zu checken :slight_smile: ich bin wirklich gespannt ob die Ladys noch ihre Dunkle farbe bekommen oder ich es nächstes mal etwas kälter machen muss wärend der nachtphasen :slight_smile: mal schauen

D63/F15 - 11.21 - easily the most vigorous plants in the tent. The passion berry has unbelievable structure and stretch. She stands about 6 inches taller than all the others today. I have 5 more fem'd Passion Berry seeds. 😈Depending on how this one finishes and the bud profile, they might get their own tent next run. D66/F18 - 11.24 - Little LA sunset that was such a runt for so long is starting to put on buds all nice. Gonna defoliate her in 4-5 days. More pics to come of the big girls tomorrow after they get defoliated 👍 D67/F19 - 11.25 - Defoliation is complete! Everything is looking great! D69/F21 - 11.27 - the little LA Sunset is looking just dandy, a few more days until the last little defoliation session.

Besonderheiten: Die Linsen wurden entfernt und wir haben mir dem LST begonnen, wir haben ihnen noch ein paar Nützlinge in die erde gesetzt -Tag 16 Heute haben wir mit dem LST Begonnen und sie hat sich sehr gut vom Toppen erholt. - Tag 18 heute wurde sie Entlaubt damit die Triebe mehr kraft bekommen und schön im Licht stehen. - Tag 19 heute wurden wieder die LST Sticks angepasst damit sie in form bleibt.

Well, it's finally time for an update, right? And for a newbie like me this week has been quite eventful! 😲 After last week's "Helmet Head" (which I suppose was my fault for not burying the seed deep enough 😱) her leaves started to look twisty, Honestly don't know why that happened but my three hypothesis are: because that's just the way she is, because I didn't properly bury the seed or I made a mistake somewhere else. However I also think she looks pretty and this makes her look quite "special" 👍. In her 6-7th day after sprouting I noticed her leaves started to look even more twisty and she was about to outgrow her cup. I worried and decided that it was the right moment to transplant her. At first I didn't know "how" to do it and all I knew is that I could shock her if I did it wrong (which worried me haha 😨). None of the sites I checked really specified any kind of information regarding how I should prepare the medium for the new plant (just some vague information here and there) so I came with the idea to just water it bit and then "massage" the soil to avoid making it "lumpy" and I feel it did work out well in the end! I feel I didn't shock her much and in her second day she was growing even more as well! Nice! 😍 Next week I'll start feeding Puff with some nutrients but the PPM of the tap water where I live is somewhat high (around 600) and it's electroconductivity is around 1200 us/cm but a lot of growers in here still use it (they just wait for chlorine to evaporate) so I'll try doing the same. I'll use half dose of Biobizz Bio Grow and half dose of another product called Gold Sunshine from Quemanta (which is Cal-Mag with some amino acids) and see how things develop! 😃 I'll try to see if I can make my DSLR take the photos for future timelapses, because my webcam sucks for that job! Week 7 is starting at day 48, things are rolling along nicely, she really is a hungry girl😂don't be shy with the nutrients as I've stated earlier, she takes everything she's given. Room is smelling so good, I'm really liking the development of this Apple Strudel, she has been so easy to grow, a pleasure, just shows the good work that the fast buds team are doing behind the scenes, keep them coming Sebastian and Co👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻🏻 More Apple Strudel updates to come later this week. Just noticed some mutations on a few of the leaves, got some crazy structure going on😁

Week 3 has just been wild there proper going for it

Shaman zeigt seit ca 7Tagen Ansatz für Blüte, das 2. fimmen hat anders funktioniert als das erste mal. Dennoch hat es funktioniert, einige Arme bilden weiter Nodien aus. Alle samt gehen Weiter in den Stretch. Das Ameisen Problem hat sich geregelt. Habe Speisfässer untergestellt und gieße täglich beide großen Pflanzen mit ca 10-15l Wasser. Sehr zufrieden bis jetzt, bis dato keine femis gehabt die Mitte des Jahres in Blüte gehen!

Está increíblemente apretada super duros y compactos parece que está prácticamente para arrancar y fumar! Está ganando un poco de tonalidad ámbar! El olor a tierra y incienso es increíble el olor a limón fresco y metálico prácticamente desapareció. Al abrir los cogollos huele un aroma super intenso que casi se saborea.. A últimos de esta semana estará cortada! En unos días la someteré a hielo y oscuridad

It’s the second week of flower and I’ve got her spread across the net. I’m going to do a foliage feed of fish mix and alg a mic in a around 4 days as well as another 4 ml of alg a mic in 2L.

Plants came back out of their 36 hours of darkness and were a little droopy, so I made the decision to put them outside for the first day of light. Unfortunately they suffered from wind burn so I brought them back to the tent. Foliar fed the plants daily at 400PPM.
