A step back recently: Started a final flush (2 days in), and decided to start feeding her again - thanks to some great GD input! 250 ppm at re-start and will work my way to 500ppm? She's still rockin' along - like nothing happened. She topped out at 350 ppm without tanking PH, so she is stable here. PH is now swinging down fairly quickly last 12 hours. Drained off 1/3 of reservoir and get reservoir down to 250PPM. 5 days later, major PH swings down again. Mixed another fresh reservoir. I am using Zero Water 5 gallon system, and just realized the PPM coming out was 100, and PH at 3! If I am at 100 today, that means these filters have been shot for a while, maybe since start of my PH issue. There is also interesting information about when zero water filters reach their expectancy. They put out fishy smell and otherwise. I will be watching my filters more often and taking more notes since this ZeroWater 5 gal system is really the way to go if you are only growing a plant or two. Filters are a bit spendy but when you take time, gas, convenience etc. its a no brainer (if the water coming out is zero:) - I get about 15 gallons per filter (175ppm from tap). Day 70. It’s been about a day since new res change. Steady Eddie at 250 ppm and 6.2. I’ll let her drink the bucket down a good ways if things remain stable with a drift down. I doubt it though, 5 gallon is fine for 12” autos but at 2’ she really needed 8 gal. Time to up the R&D on the cabinet! Also checked Zero Water again and filter is now putting out 200ppm of 3.0 water. New filters installed! Hope she finishes soon, the top of her canopy slowly getting cooked over the last 10 days. 8" of light distance is too little. PPFD 2000+ at the top, but leaf temps are in the upper 70's. Gotta hit a decent DLI on these lower buds - without nuking the top nugs, right?! As the week concludes, she’s in a fresh bath, at 250ppm @ 6.0 and running stable again. New water filters installed so zero water variable removed. Last serving of half+ teaspoon of GH dry KB ripening, and will reduce ppm by 25/day until I reach 10-15%. 1-2 day flush, if at all.

It's a nice change of pace to have these warmer temperatures, even if it's not quite spring yet. Low 40s during the day is a lot more comfortable than what we've been dealing with lately. Hopefully, this is a sign that spring's around Those Bubble OG's are looking fantastic! It's awesome how two of them are starting to get that purple color – they look so cool. The third one might look a little different, but that just adds to the fun of growing them.

This week has gone smooth. Ahsoka has finished her stretch and is focusing on growing her flowers (at least that's my newbie guess at what's happening) up till now she has done great with only Real Growers Recharge. But the stretch used up her nitrogen she is turning lighter and lighter green. We fed the bloom nutes hoping itd be enough nitrogen. Should we give her some grow formula? I dont want to give her a toxicity! 😬 Other than that she looks to be doing great! No smell really. Smells incredible Blue Zushi very dense and Long buds. Dry harvest 80g Naranja Biscotti smells like danish buttercookies with oranges

11/25 - This is start of week 4 of life, week 2 of real veg (by my standards, anyways). Her color was a little light a few days ago, but the issue is resolving since I bumped her nutes up. I am using the schedule linked from GWE (https://www.growweedeasy.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Recirculating-Nutrient-Schedule-custom.jpg), but I also am using the additives provided by the Performance Pack and will be noting them on the weeks where they are used (RapidStart added at half-strength of GH Advanced Schedule; FloraBlend added at half-strength). She measures about 500 ppm (1.0ec) including ~200 ppm (0.4ec) for the tap value. She is holding pretty consistent res temp of 67-69F and gets ~10LPM of air in a 2"x4" can-style airstone. I always add Hydroguard since temps have been known to go over 72F in the res during certain parts of the year. She is growing noticeably every day and soon it will be time to top her and start her on LST. I'm not sure how high I want to go before leveling her off this time. True ScrOG would say as short as possible (3-6"), but I have the available height (6'). I am trying to get the maximum out of my lights since they are only JUST the right size for the flowering space I currently have (3'x3'), which is why I think using a ScrOG will be the most effective use of my setup. I do intend on moving her over to a 5 gallon bucket when I flip her to flower, but that will still leave me plenty of height to work with. I'm not sure if I will go with the soloScrOG like I am using in my Auto ladies, but likely something similar. Any questions or comments please feel free to drop a line. Day 30 of flower; I raised her pot about 30 cm to get closer to the light and to prevent her younger tall neighbours from over-growing her. She's packed with deliciously smelling, very sticky buds. This is a true queen! One of the better, if not the best, smelling plant I've grown. Can't wait to try her. She'll be ready soon. 😊

At the end plants didn’t drink anymore. Don’t know why. Im very pleased with the results. Expected about 200g but got way more. Grow went well. Exept I should have ordered scrog et way before bc when it arrived it was too late and i couldnt train them anymore.

Beautiful plant, crazy foxtails and crazy smells I really enjoyed both plants as they grew with the same conditions but very different. One was a little runt at 55 cm tall while the other was 84 cm. Did not get very purple but still super colourful. Cant wait to dry and smoke

So this week I added nutrients for the flowering stage. I gave her a little trim as well as added her netting. I flipped her on last Sunday PP

Still pre flower in my area I suspect it will start to bloom in three weeks or less

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Welcome to 📅Day 36 flower 4/19/2021 we are now fully into flower and she is looking good. I think maybe I may need to increase the cal-mag a bit as it looks like there is a slight deficiency but she is still healthy. The Mars hydro TS 1000💡 is working great and I now have it at 100%. That's all for this weeks first update Happy growing and keep your stick on the ice 🏒 Update 📅Day 40 flower 4/23/2021 she is growing fast and looking great under the Mars Hydro TS 1000 I made a little change in the auto pot and added a an air stone into each pot and a new 2 port air pump to go with it this will keep the solution moving in the bottom of the pot so that the surface does not get grimy and potentially get contaminated and thus harm the plants. It also has the bonus of adding more air to the solution
