Solo cup challenge continues to press along. Not much change, plants are in veg, growing and healthy. Still a few weeks before the flowers start so I hope to get a bit of size going before it does. Weiter Daumen drücken hoffentlich wirds kein Müsli. Pheno 2 zeigt Anzeichen von Kaliummangel (gelbe Spitzen an den Blatträndern) dem wird mit 1ml/ Canna mono Kalium und 1ml/l Plagron pk13/14 entgegen gewirkt. ph wert und Leitwert im Drain passen. Pheno 1 bekommt vorbeugend 1x die gleiche Mischung. Interessant wie unterschiedlich neben dem äußerlichen Erscheinungsbild auch der Nährstoffbedarf der Beiden ist. Am letzten Tag der Woche 6 wurden die Pflanzen etwas entlaubt. Im Laufe der nächsten Woche wird das Blätterdach weiter geöffnet.

Week 8 Flower The last week of flush for these two. They were taken down on Day 56, after a 16 Day flush. I think Twin2 could have finished at 7 weeks, but of course I hadn't planned for this, or I would have flushed sooner. So she was taken to the originally planned 8 weeks. Twin2 has also foxtailed quite a bit, from only slightly higher temps and also because she's having a last attempt at catching any pollen in order to reproduce. Although the pots were slightly damp still when I harvested, it is best to take them down when they're dry. The only reason I didn't, was because I knew I'd be too busy the next day, and there were plants in veg that were desperate to be thrown into the flower tent! The pics do make them look wetter than they were though. Their fan leaves were taken off and they were each hung in seperate boxes, where they'll dry as slowly as possible for between 6-10 days. I dont suffer with very high humidity, so I'm able to do this without any issues. When I feel it is too humid, I simply burp the box for the first day or 2 once a day. The slower the dry the better the buds will taste/smell. Once she's dry enough she'll be trimmed and jarred for curing. It's going to be a pretty tough one for keeper pheno! They both have similar but very different smells. By that I mean, they both smell very floral and sweet, but T2 smells extra sweet (although definitely not as dense). That doesn't mean T1 doesn't smell just as nice. Hers buds are thicker and more dense, so even though I've favourited T2 in the pics, I think I'm leaning towards T1 still. But in all honesty it's still down to dry weight and the taste test! This can all be looked forward to in the harvest update! It's been a seriously fun diary with these two twins. Barneys Farm Cookies Kush Organic soil Grow Diary Update 16th Feb 2020 Well the stretch has definately started and there are visible pistils showing at the nodes so my girls are Flowering!! Yay Both Girls are looking good although plant 1 has distinct red leaf stems that I am not sure about. It could be a deficiency or phenotype trait?? Feeds this week were as follows Day 1 Superthrive using the 1ml/3Litres ratio I made up 10L and gave the plants 5 each. Day 2 Nothing at all Day 3 Water only Day 4 Nothing at all Day 5 Water only Day 6 Seaweed solution and mycorrhizae Day 7 (yesterday) water with a tiny amount of liquid potash Also yesterday I posted a question regarding whether or not I should repot the girls before they grow any further. Well the general consensus was to go ahead and Transplant them so in the cool of the evening I went ahead and moved them both into bigger pots. I used all of the left over super soil from my auto grows earlier this year. Plant 1 got moved into a 75 Litre grow bag and plant 2 went into a 40L standard garden pot. So that means plant 1 is in a container almost 4 times the size of the one it was in whilst plant 2 is now in a pot twice the volume of the original container. I chose plant 1 for the bigger pot simply because the roots were definately starting to become rootbound in the smaller pot. Hopefully the extra room may lead to a better outcome (ie yield) Thanks for checking out my update and also thanks to all who provided input to my question yesterday. On 7th day of flowering we removed lower little branches and made some lollipopping on the plants. Also we made some defoliation on gelatos cause they were very bushy but almost removed only biggest fan leaf. As plants were bigger enough we started adding granural mineral NPK 12-18-23 1 g/L and CalMag Xtra by advanced nutrients 1mL/L to the solution.
