Flower day 28. Buds starting to stack well on the Neon Icon plants, could be a little better on the Caddie Runtz. Had some very warm weather over the last week and was struggling with keeping the humidity down, VPD was peaking at 2, way too high. Temps went down so looking good at the moment.

Shout out to Barney’s, freaking love their genetics! Harvest will be plentiful of super quality bud. Something I this far have only achieved with their genetics.

Another steady week, nearly there now. Trichomes are all nearly cloudy, and leaves are starting to yellow.Another week or so and we are good to go. Happy growing!👊

Week 7 of Veg for these beautiful ladies! It was a stressful week for the girls but they made it❤️ Day 44 I decided the girls had outgrown their 2 gallon nursery pots and were ready to move on. After a quick cleanup of the undercarriage, they were ready to go. I like to keep my soil in a Rubbermaid bin, either with a fan lightly blowing, or the exhaust line from my tent blowing at it. Since I started doing this, I have not had any gnats or pests in my grows, of course with regular cleanings and IPM… This time around, I decided to use some Dynomyco to increase the mycorrhiza count of my Promix HP. This will increase root development and allow for better uptake of nutrients overall. Within an hour or so all of the ladies were transplanted ❤️ 2 in 7 gallon fabric pots, and 1 in a 5 gallon fabric pot ( the 5 gallon will finish in my 2x4 tent) Once the girls bounce back and take hold of their new forever pot, I will be setting up my custom “floating” SCROG net and allowing them some time to get bent and tucked all nice snug before I flip to a flower schedule. Went on a ski trip didn’t get to upload last week. Flipped Pineapple Express Pheno 3 today so it got 77 days of veg compared to all the others that got 60 days of veg.

Hello Diary. We have reached the end of the cycle of this fragrant beauty. There will be a harvest in 2-3 days.😍 Every day I use a small microscope to check when it will be ready. When the trichomes start to turn brown, then I will have a harvest, everything is already prepared. 💪 As can be seen in the pictures, most of the leaves are completely yellowed, the flowers themselves are beautiful green. 😀 At the end of the week I did a defoliation, I took off all the bigger leaves to give them better airiness in those last days and to give the flowers a little more energy. 💪 Watering is every three days and on her 61st day was the last watering before harvest. p.H of water before watering I regulate with Plagron’s Lemon Kick. Always between 6.2 and 6.3 The temperature and humidity in the Box are great, almost ideal for this phase. 👌 Let’s take a look at what Fat Banana’s last week looked like. 21/11/2020 - Day 58. Watering. p.H of water I regulated to 6.3. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.5 degrees and 38% humidity. 24/11/2020 - Day 61. Watering. Same procedure as three days earlier. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.1 degrees and 40% humidity. 26/11/2020 - Day 63. Photography and defoliation. As I wrote earlier, I removed all the larger leaves for better airflow and to give the flowers a little more energy. I photographed Fat Banana for the last week of flowering, since I will have a harvest in a few days, I will take the final photos on a black background. I'm really looking forward to it. In the end, what to say? Considering the scent and the beautiful flowers, the harvest will be great. See you soon with the last post for this beauty.

This is actually my first time growing in Coco, so had a few issues in feeding at first.

Week 27 from seed and a lovely cool 18c this morning... Apart from the bud hungry bugs eating the plant, she does have some amazing bud development. Never seen a pure sativa close up before and always thought the buds would be thinner, although quite airy they are fat buds nonetheless. No signs of seeds either which I am surprised about with it being landrace late in flower.. She is quite sticky and the smell is beginning to come through the buds more. The smell reminds me of citrusy freshness, fruity/sweet. The test smoke I've had is really enjoyable and pleasant. The high is very clear with a fruity taste on your throat. I would say the high makes me more active in and around the garden as apposed to hybrid or indica flower. I cannot wait to smell and taste it when it ripens. If the bugs back off I will let it go 2-3 more weeks possibly but they're munching fast. Only 10 main tops left on the plant.. Spotted 2 types of praying mantis on the plant so hopefully less bugs now... we well see. Next season I will grow again but underneath an anti-bug net.. she had so much potential to be absolutely huge but bugs have not stopped attacking for 7 months! Still a nice plant but it can do much better here.
