💜 Week 5 – Purple CousKush Auto (Pheno B) Same Genetics, A Different Story One of the greatest reminders that nature always has the final word is watching multiple phenotypes grow side by side. This Purple CousKush has shared every step of the journey with her sister. The same germination conditions. The same Plagron feeding schedule. The same Future of Grow lighting. The same Mammoth tent. The same 12/12 flowering schedule from seed. Yet she has decided to tell an entirely different story. While some plants rush into flower and others focus on stretch, this beautiful lady has invested her energy into building a compact, incredibly healthy structure before fully committing herself to bloom. She’s taking her time. And I’m perfectly happy to let her. ⸻ 🌱 Plant Development At 66 cm tall, this phenotype has developed into a wonderfully balanced and compact plant with exceptional vigour. The first thing that catches my attention every time I walk into the tent is just how lush she looks. Her foliage is thick, rich green and incredibly healthy, giving her a full appearance despite her more restrained vertical growth. Flowering is now clearly underway. Fresh pistils are appearing at every growing tip and along the internodes, confirming that she’s fully transitioning into bloom. She simply isn’t in any hurry, and that’s perfectly fine. The spacing between nodes remains excellent, allowing light to penetrate deep into the canopy while creating dozens of promising future flowering sites. She’s building the foundations first. The flowers will follow. ⸻ 🌿 Environment & Growing Conditions Like the rest of the Project Blue Tent, environmental conditions remained very stable throughout the week. * 12/12 lighting schedule from seed * Future of Grow Black Series LED providing approximately 850 PPFD * Mammoth Pro grow tent * Day temperatures around 31°C * Relative humidity averaging 72% * CO₂ levels around 639 ppm Despite the warmer summer temperatures, this phenotype has remained calm and vigorous throughout the week. Leaf posture has been excellent, colour remains beautifully uniform, and the plant continues to show absolutely no signs of stress. Healthy roots create healthy plants, and this girl certainly looks like she’s enjoying life. ⸻ 💧 Feeding Program This Purple CousKush continues to be hand-watered rather than connected to the AutoPot system. Growing in a 15 L Plagron Lightmix container, she received approximately 1 litre of nutrient solution per watering. This week’s feeding consisted of: • Terra Grow – 1.8 ml/L • Terra Bloom – 1.9 ml/L • Pure Zym – 1 ml/L • Power Roots – 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L • Power Buds – 1 ml/L The feeding schedule continues to match her needs perfectly. The deep green foliage, steady growth and healthy new shoots all suggest she’s receiving exactly what she requires while gradually shifting her focus from vegetative growth into flowering. Sometimes consistency really is the best strategy. ⸻ 🌸 Phenotype Notes Comparing this plant with her sister perfectly illustrates why I enjoy documenting individual phenotypes instead of treating every plant as if they were identical. They come from the same seed pack. They’ve received the same care. They’ve experienced the same environment. Yet they’re expressing themselves in wonderfully different ways. This phenotype is slightly slower entering flower, but she compensates with an incredibly sturdy frame, beautiful branching and dense, vibrant foliage that gives her a very robust appearance. She’s not behind. She’s simply following her own genetic rhythm. That’s one of the reasons I love growing from seed—every plant has its own personality waiting to be discovered. ⸻ 🔍 Looking Ahead Over the next week I expect flowering to become much more obvious as the pistils continue multiplying across every branch and the first real bud sites begin to establish themselves. With her compact structure, balanced branching and excellent health, I’m excited to see how she fills out during the coming weeks. Sometimes the slower starters end up becoming the biggest surprises at harvest. We’ll simply keep providing a stable environment, consistent nutrition and plenty of patience while she writes the next chapter herself. ⸻ 💭 Final Thoughts Every phenotype teaches something different. This Purple CousKush reminds me that speed has never been the goal. Health, balance and consistency will always matter far more than racing toward the finish line. Watching her develop has been incredibly enjoyable because she’s never tried to imitate the other plants in the room. She’s simply growing exactly the way her genetics tell her to. As growers, sometimes our best decision is simply to observe, trust the process and resist the temptation to interfere. Nature has been doing this for millions of years. 🌸 Blütetag 1 – Umstellung auf 12/12 Gestern haben wir offiziell die Blüte eingeleitet und auf 12/12 umgestellt. Damit startet jetzt die Stretch-Phase und die Pflanzen gehen langsam in den Blütemodus über. Heute Morgen wurde gegossen und dabei gab es eine Übergangs-Düngung mit Crazy Hills Nutrients, damit die Pflanzen den Wechsel möglichst stressfrei schaffen. Verwendete Nährstoffe (Crazy Hills): Upthrive (Grow Fertilizer) – weiterhin leicht mitgegeben für den Übergang Prosper (Bloom Fertilizer) – als Start in die Blütephase Spark (Flowering Stimulant) – zur Unterstützung der frühen Blütenbildung Elix (All-in-One Booster) – als zusätzlicher Support im Mix Zusätzlich wurden heute einige Blätter entlaubt (Defoliation), um die Luftzirkulation zu verbessern und mehr Licht an die unteren Triebe zu bringen. Ziel ist es, die Pflanzen jetzt sauber und offen in die Stretch-Phase zu schicken. Die Pflanzen zeigen noch leichte Anzeichen vom Training und der Umstellung, was direkt nach dem Flip normal ist. Jetzt geht es vor allem darum, die Bedingungen stabil zu halten und sie in Ruhe in die Blüte starten zu lassen. Training / Setup LST bleibt aktiv, damit das Canopy möglichst gleichmäßig ist. Die beiden hinteren Pflanzen (Roswell Code) wurden gezielt geöffnet und verteilt, damit mehr Licht ins Innere kommt. Ziel ist ein flaches, gleichmäßiges Dach für die Stretch-Phase. Da ich übers Wochenende unterwegs bin, wurde die Blüte bewusst jetzt eingeleitet, damit alles stabil läuft, während ich weg bin. Jetzt heißt es beobachten, ruhig bleiben und den Stretch arbeiten lassen 🌱 🌸 Flowering Day 1 – Flip to 12/12 Yesterday we officially switched to 12/12, starting the flowering phase. The plants are now entering the stretch period and slowly transitioning into bloom mode. This morning they received a full watering with a transition feed using Crazy Hills Nutrients to help them move smoothly into flowering. Nutrients used (Crazy Hills): Upthrive (Grow Fertilizer) – still included lightly for the transition phase Prosper (Bloom Fertilizer) – introduced to start flowering nutrition Spark (Flowering Stimulant) – added to support early flower development Elix (All-in-One Booster) – extra support within the mix Today I also did some defoliation, removing selected fan leaves to improve airflow and allow more light to reach lower growth. The goal is to send them into stretch with a cleaner, more open structure. The plants still show slight stress from training and the recent flip, which is totally normal at this stage. The main goal now is to keep conditions stable and let them settle into flower. Training / Setup LST remains in place to maintain an even canopy. The two plants in the back (Roswell Code) were opened up and spread out for better light penetration. Goal is a flat, even canopy going into stretch. I decided to flip now because I’ll be away over the weekend, so this timing keeps everything stable while I’m gone. Now it’s time to watch the stretch and let them do their thing.🍀

Stressful to say the least, Browning pistils from Very very early however no hermaphrodites. Just can’t get my finger on where they’re at week 5 just added PK 13/14 and now considering whether I should’ve done or not they are showing signs of been ready for harvest yet don’t look done

Another good week, stretch is full on and probably another week or 2. They all got a topdress with compost and wormicompost, insectfrass, basalt, kelp, epsom, and seed meal to keep the worms happy. All in small doses... less is more :-)

We grew two plants of Zamnesia Seeds' Alien OG and chose to manage them completely differently, precisely to observe the differences between the two plants. This first plant was left to grow without training or pruning, simply following its natural development. Next week, we'll share our experience with the second plant, which we mainlined. Just looking at this first Alien OG, you can tell it's a truly vigorous strain. The plant reached a remarkable size and proved very productive, developing long, very large colas, which are definitely one of the characteristics that impressed me most. Resin production was also good. The buds had a good amount of trichomes, and overall, the final result conveyed a good sense of quality. The interesting thing will be to compare this harvest with that of the second plant, grown mainlined: two plants of the same genetics, but with completely different management. It will be interesting to see how the technique influenced the structure, bud distribution, and final yield. Regarding this first Alien OG, the verdict is decidedly positive: **huge plant, excellent productivity, very long and abundant colas, and a good amount of resin**. A strain that, left to grow freely, has demonstrated all its vigor. Growth is clearly excellent thanks to a controlled PPFD. We're providing the right amount of light at every stage and are experiencing potency spikes thanks to Zamnesia. PPFD - We achieve a PPFD of 800 μmol/m²/s (shorter plants) up to approximately 1250 μmol/m²/s, using CO2 to reduce clade formation and high-intensity lighting. Measurements taken with Phantom Photobio https://photobio.com/ Lighting - The lamp used is the fantastic Zamnesia Phytonaut 480W LED, set at 85% to provide a good average PPFD for all plants, both those closer to 20 cm (1250 μmol/m²/s) and those around 40-50 cm (750-850 μmol/m²/s). Esta semana el cambio en los cogollos es mas que visible. Se han bañado en resina y estan cogiendo colores morados tanto en las hojas como en el propio fruto la mayoria. Al subirles el co2 a 1100 ppm estan consumindo mas agua y generando mas humedad e tenido que enchufar el deshumidificafor al maximo para mantener la humedad entre el 40 y el 50 por ciento. El olor es impresionante para faltarle 1 mes por delante mas o menos... los tonos a naranja acida son claros... como si fueran orange sherbert 🤷‍♂️ pero desde luego no me quejo porque es muy pero que muy notorio. La temperatura la mantendre entre 26 y 27 gradosasta las dos ultimas semana de lavado de raices que la bajare a 24 grados para que compacten los cogollos. Y la EC la mantendre a 1.8 una semana mas y las fos ultimas semanas de aporte seran a 1.9 y 2.0 respectivamente.

DAY 11 !! can someone let me know if my plants are looking healthy ? It’s my first time so I’m trying not to fu** up... and should I be worried that some of them already have purple stems? They have been purple for at least 4-5 days and nothing else looks wrong with them?

Time flies, we have arrived in a flash at day 16, it seems like the other day that the first young ladies were appearing on September 1st. "Do you remember.....nanannana Septermber" She is XXXX Test 2, the elves of the Zamensia house have been very clear about keeping the name of these beauties TO SECRET that will soon be available to the public, I am testing them for you. They are growing very well, they are truly a force of nature. We are talking about a strain with a large internodal distance that is already showing this characteristic clearly, that is growing at a great pace so much so that we are very slightly under fertilization always exclusively due to my fault but no big deal this thing is easily recovered. --- feeding program - As I mentioned I was shy about fertilizing and the seedlings are slightly, very slightly faded, let's learn to notice these small signs and with the normal doses after two or three waterings we should be fine. dont know why but Jack 2 seem doped, she is 126 cm Height and her sister jack 1 is just 50-55 cm height, they seem to have many bud sites and react very well to the env, where i live is very hot now, so im using ac fulltime since a week. If you wanna give me some tips or advice pls do it, anything is welcome, i wanna just learn since i just love this plant

Originally I didn’t think I had much to update until I compared the plants photos at 7 days. The ff3’s have definitely responded better to their new home than the neighboring ff2. They are definitely getting a thicker stalk and adding more foliage. I started the week with a light dose of flora flex nutrients which is by weight rather than tea or tablespoon. They call for 1 gram of the v1 & v2 per gallon of water and I opted for 1 for the entire 6 gallons. But with no response I adjusted the ph and added a small amount of Cali magic and flora grow. On my previous rockwool multi time per day feeding I would have expected these to be twice the size at two weeks. Hopefully we get some explosive growth soon.

Thelma (2 gal) has a massive fade setting in, only a handful of ambers though. I start her flush this week and will chop in 2 weeks, assuming the number of ambers has multiplied bigtime by then. Louise (3 gal) is looking nice and healthy and I'm looking forward to compare harvests between both, she's a week younger. So close!!
