The photoperiodic Blue Dream gave us this magnificent main cola which is the most exciting visual part but guys, you should smell what this beauty has. A real marvel I am very happy with her. Also here excellent resin and resistance to the first heat. ** Remember that we have two plants per strain one left to grow straight and one worked with the techniques. Day 70 for these Fastbuds beauties Blackberry Auto: With dark purple buds glowing fiercely and a dank smell to match, this girl could make anyone's tent look amazing. During the last few weeks her buds have become incredibly dense and sticky. She is very short and thick in stature compared to the other plants I have in flower. I inspected her trichomes over the weekend and ive determined that she is pretty much ready for harvesr. I expect about 2 oz of high quality flower after dry/cure. Forbidden Runtz Auto I'm really blown away with the turnaround in this girl. She was mutated & so small I almost tossed her out during early veg; I'm glad I changed my mind. She stretched significantly between weeks 4-6 and I really wasn't expecting much from her. In reality, she has blown my mind... incredibly dense and sticky buds have developed in the past 4 weeks. She's got the zkittles smell mixed with a gassy terp profile.. I think the higher humidity through flowering phase really helped develop these dense buds. When I checked her trichomes over the weekend I determined that she will be cut down within the next 7-10 days. Process/ Environment changes: - Lowered my SF4000 roughly 20 cm to increase photon delivery to the canopy - Water/kelp meal only from this point to harvest - My temperature has risen due to change of seasons .. roughly at 27-28 deg C during daytime.. this is why I lowered my lights rather than turning them up - Defoliating any unnecessary fan leaves at every chance I get - I've had to use spools of twist tie to use to keep the branches from falling over from their own weight. I'll tie one end to the top of a branch, and the other to the stock. Not ideal but its working. Cheese auto dry/ cure update: After 10 full days of drying, I gave the buds a decent trim and put them inside glass jars where they will remain for many weeks. I add 2 way Boveda humidity packs to help regulate the relative humidity within the containers. I also use tiny hydrometer pucks to measure the humidity and temperature inside the jars. My ideal cure is at 62% RH

Make a hard defoliation this week

Week 12, Week 12 was an interesting one. This is my first time having a successful plant so I began to become worried once I noticed the leaves turned yellow. I did a flush last week in hopes that I could squeeze two weeks of Kool Bloom nutrient feeding before I flush for the last time. I am nowhere near a master grower so I am kinda experimenting with the harvest time with this plant. I don't want airy popcorn buds so I thought it would be best to have the plants flowers develop as much as possible. As a result, I am going to harvest around 3/10 making it 13 weeks. I am hoping that adding the finishing nutrients will allow for the buds along the stem to become as dense as the buds at the top. Harvest time is almost coming! :) I know what some may be thinking, those flowers look done, and they do haha but I am experimenting to see if a longer harvest time means denser buds (which is what I'm hoping for) lol Let me know if you have any comments, questions, concerns. Day 16 Notes Took a few fan leaves off from the top they was blocking precious light... I watered with about 1.5lt I used. 1.3ml of bio grow to 2lt of tap water. Week 2 of flower This plant is healthy and happy but she sure is taking her time adjusting to 12/12. I don’t see any pistils coming out yet. She could just be a late bloomer lol. Temperature and measurements listed in grow conditions are averaged for the week. The listed pH is the soil pH. Nutrients listed in nutrients section are ml/per gallon of soil. Day 1 we had rain showers in the morning and throughout the day. They showed first sign of flower. Day 2 we had rain in the morning, drizzle and showers in the afternoon. The ferrous sulfate reduced the soil pH from just above 7 to just below. I added 10ml blood meal and 10ml ferrous sulfate top dressed to each pot. The nitrogen should boost the stretch during early flower. The additional ferrous sulfate should keep the pH in the 6.5-7 range and help with chlorosis during early flower. Day 3 we had more rain, drizzle, and mist all day. The soil pH is coming down slowly. It's 6.9 on day 3. Day 4 it rained all morning. The pots are soaked. Day 5 we missed the scattered showers but it was 80-90% humidity all day. We did have lots of sunshine Day 6 we had lots of sunshine and temperatures above 80°F. Day 7 we had sunny skies. Temperature was in the mid 80'sF. I had to water about .5 gallons directly from the hose. 7.6 pH and 50°F Both plants doubled in height. There's still a small excess of phosphorous in the soil. The plants will grow into the phosphorus during flower. Overall a successful week.
