đż LSD â Week 8 From Seed
(Week 4 Flower â Photoperiod)
The room is full.
Not chaotic-full.
Intentional-full.
And thatâs a big difference.

đĄïž ENVIRONMENT ANALYSIS
đ Current Metrics
⹠Canopy temp: 27.9°C
âą RH: ~70%
âą COâ: 1000+ ppm (lights on)
âą PPFD: 800 â 1300 ”mol/mÂČ/s
What This Means
At ~28°C with 1000+ ppm COâ, your plants can metabolically handle the higher PPFD range.
This is a high-energy room right now.
Humidity at 70% in week 4 flower is slightly on the upper edge for density like this, but:
âą We have airflow.
âą We have under-canopy lighting.
âą We have structured spacing.
So this isnât panic territory.
Itâs âmonitor closelyâ territory.
âž»
đ± SUBSTRATE & FEEDING
âą Soil EC: 0.91
âą Watering EC: 2.4
âą pH: 6.5
⹠Medium temp: ~22.5°C
âą Moisture reading: ~94% (with active dry-backs)
This is important:
The graph rhythm described â feed â dry back â stabilization â
Thatâs root steering.
Your soil isnât waterlogged.
Your EC isnât stacking.
Theyâre drinking aggressively.
And in week 4 flower, thatâs exactly what you want.
This is peak nitrogen-to-potassium transition phase.

đĄ LIGHTING STRATEGY
Main Light Intensity
We climbing as the canopy grows â smart.
UVA/UVB â 6 Hours Mid-Cycle
This is controlled stress application.
At this stage (early-to-mid flower):
âą Trichome precursors are developing.
âą Secondary metabolite pathways are active.
âą Defense response can be nudged.
Important:
UV doesnât create resin.
It signals stress response pathways that can increase resin density under the right metabolic conditions.
So far:
No tacoing.
No bleaching.
No premature fade.
That means dosage is within tolerance.
âž»
đŽ 15-Minute End-of-Day Red
This is circadian tightening.
Phytochrome manipulation:
Pfr â Pr conversion accelerates.
The plant âunderstandsâ night faster.
Will yield explode? No.
Will rhythm sharpen? Possibly.
Subtle tools are what refine grows.
âž»
đŠ UNDERCANOPY LIGHTING
This is actually one of the most underrated parts of your setup.
In a dense canopy like this:
Benefits:
âą Lower bud sites donât starve.
âą Hormonal dominance softens.
âą Larf reduction.
âą Internal airflow improves.
Our structure supports it â because you didnât over-strip last week.
âž»
đż DEFOLIATION RESPONSE
It looks like they didnât get defoliated at all.
Thatâs a sign of:
âą Strong root mass
âą Stable VPD
âą No nutrient imbalance
âą Good carbohydrate reserves
Week 4 is the perfect recovery window.
If they had stalled? Youâd see smaller bud initiation.
Weâre not.
âž»
đž LETâS TALK ABOUT THE WHITE HAIRS (PISTILS)
Those âwhite hairsâ are pistils â female reproductive organs.
They are:
âą Stigma structures
âą Designed to catch pollen
âą Directly connected to ovule tissue inside the calyx
Why are they exploding now?
Because the plant has fully transitioned from vegetative dominance to reproductive hormone signaling.
Auxin redistribution shifts.
Gibberellins reduce.
Flowering genes are active.
Weâre now in:
Active bud site multiplication phase.
The number of pistils at week 4 indicates:
âą Good hormonal balance
âą No stress-induced reversion
âą Strong floral initiation
âž»
đż STRUCTURE â HYBRID BUT SATIVA EXPRESSION
Weâre noticing:
âą Vertical middle branching
âą Internodal stretch
âą Upward lateral arms
Even though LSD is a hybrid, phenotype expression can lean sativa structurally.
This gives us:
âą Longer cola potential
âą Slightly airier stacking (good for airflow)
âą Potentially later bulking
Now the question:
Will this become a dominant main cola?
Based on structure:
Yes â but not a single spear.
More likely:
A structured central column with strong secondary tops.
We didnât top aggressively.
So apical dominance remains.
But the mid-sides are competitive.
This is a balanced dominance structure â not a Christmas tree, not a bush.
âž»
đ WHAT TO EXPECT NEXT WEEK (Week 5 Flower)
You should see:
Calyx swelling begins
Pistils start thickening, not just multiplying
Slight trichome production visible on sugar leaves
Stretch slowing down
Nutrient demand increases
What you should NOT expect yet:
â Major bud density
â Heavy trichome frosting
â Fan leaf fade
â Pistil darkening in bulk
Weâre still in building phase.
âž»
đ§ ONE IMPORTANT THING
Humidity at 70% in week 5 will become more critical.
As density increases:
We will lower it gradually toward 60â62%.
Not aggressively.
Gradually.
Our room is stable.
We donât shock it.
âž»
đż OVERALL IMPRESSION
They look:
âą Even
âą Uniform
âą Almost clone-like
âą Structurally consistent
That uniformity from seed?
Thatâs good selection genetics.
This room feels intentional.
Not experimental.
Not chaotic.
Controlled.

With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine.
đ Growers love to all đ
đž P.S. â The Eye Behind the Lens
All photos in this diary (for now â except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more.
Photography is part of the story â itâs how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words canât always capture.
Iâve also started experimenting with photo stacking â a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back.
Itâs not digital enhancement or AI; itâs pure photography â a way to reveal the plantâs beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal.
Youâll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots â camera, lens, setup â because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art.
