D53 - It's been a few days since my last entry, but I had the opportunity to spend a long weekend in Amsterdam, and who can say no to that? It's a mission to hook up the automatic drip irrigation for only a few days of travel, so I watered the girls thoroughly before leaving. Sure, they were thirsty when I came back but weren't drooping. The trichomes still show a bunch of clear, so chop day is still a bit off. The girls STINK! Or rather, they smell amazing but smell A LOT. It's that bad that I'm replacing the old carbon filter tomorrow. I was initially planning on replacing the filter after this grow, but my girlfriend starts to grumble a bit, so I better get to it... D56 - We're at the end of the eighth week of flower, and it is all a waiting game. I still see many clear trichomes, so that it will be another week or two before the chop. I'm a bit concerned, though, as we have had a lot of rain lately, and the general humidity is relatively high. This increases the humidity in the tent as well, and it is currently in the low 60s even though I have a small dehumidifier running. That is high this late in flower, and I'm worried about botrytis.

It was a lot of work to collect two of these young ladies, many leaves, many sugar leaves to separate for the extractions. The product is very pleasant, this plant is very well balanced. D29 - The start of the fifth week of vegetation. All is relatively uneventful, and all I'm doing is tightening the LST wires each day. Since transplanting the girls last week, the girls are quietly doing their thing, and I have yet to turn on the Blumat system. The soil was quite most when transplanting, plus I keep the humidity high to deter thrips. I had (have?) thrips in my other tent and want to avoid them getting into this one. D31 - Last night I finished hooking up the Blumat system, but I didn't turn it on as the soil moisture was still sufficient. I really should say that I thought I didn't turn it on, but when I opened the tent today, #1 was completely flooded, with a good 2-3 cm of water in the tray. It turned out that the shut-off valve was slightly off-center, and that was enough to allow water to trickle through. Ugh. Now I have to wait even longer until I can turn on the system. Not a huge deal as long as it is functioning in a week since I'm planning a short trip for Easter. D33 - LST D35 - The last day of the final week of vegetation as the girls have started to go into flower. I did additional LST and some minor defoliation to eliminate some random leaves. Finally, I turned on the infrared diodes in my grow-light but will hold off another couple of weeks before i turn on the UV diodes.

Flowering is in full effect and things are starting to get sticky. The strawberry gorilla has not streched much so i raised her to keep up with the tropicana cookies. She has grown so high that my light is now all the way up in the tent and cant go higher. Unfortunately she is showing leave deficiency which, i think, is ph lock out or overfeeding. Decided to flush her with TA Flash clean and go on from here. Nevertheless she is growing awesome buds, and god the purple colours are amazing 🤩😍

11/7/23 - Day 1 - OK so big day going on here. It's time to get this little Skunk#1 seed into some lights! (really it's Day 9, but were going to let it sync up to the app) Above are photos of my best attempt at showing how this system works. First thing you want to do is to run the Leaf software and do the startup procedure. Selecting the Start grow button kicks off step by step instructions on the setup process. There is a video of showing the automatic water fill coming from the RO water setup I created. Normally this is setup for hose water from your house. I want to make sure im using RO water for obvious reasons. I will say, when you are done with you grow in this Leaf box make sure you clean it well. Its been a month since i cleaned it and had i not cleaned this it would take you much longer to start your new grow. This is another grow that's starting out smooth! Ill keep you updated as I move along! 11/13/23 - Day 6 - Shes got her 3rd set of leaves just starting to grow. Her roots are not out of the net pot, but i can see them coming out of the rockwool.
