This past week she only grew 5cm so I'm sure the flower stretch is over and she'll start focusing her energy on growing those buds. I'm feeding every other day still and the same amount. Only feeding bloom nutrients and in a week or so I'll start adding an organic PK booster. She got stressed again this week, the weather has been really sketchy lately.. sunny, cloudy, stormy, windy... all that in the same day 😂 So I'm doing my best to make her feel comfortable in the midst of all this weather. Some nights I mover inside in case it suddenly starts raining.. There's also less direct sunlight. Other than that things are fine, she's starting to get trichomes on some bud sites and starting to give off a nice little smell. Have to keep her save for these final and key weeks! 5 weeks since flip. Switched from house and garden to jacks321, had some salt build up so flushed medium w some drip clean, got ppms down to 950-1000 from 1600. Everything is comin along pretty well.

For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. She's cruising. I'm letting her drink everything and just adding remixed nutes every third day. Calibrated the pH pen after I saw a little sign she was showing signs of a mild deficiency. She's blown up the last couple days and it seems like she started stretching again. I added the Plagron Green Sensation and I'm definitely loving the results it brings, doubling down the PK boost with some Bud Explosion as well so we should see these flowers swell up to match that beautiful frost, which definitely pops on those purple flowers. Let's see where this week takes us!

I was given the seed months before and just grew it on a whim with the LA and one of my own. I turned out great. It got the far right side of the tent and did well. She did even better with extra room up when the LA had to be moved. I jumped the gun on the flush and wish I could have given another week, but the down side to this specimen is prone to mold and my hands were tied. I do have another smaller plant with VERY dense buds that's sitting at 50-60% RH - not a sign of mold.. I'm happy with this plant.

Day 10F-17F (Day 10F) Everything is looking on point. I’m going to soak in a gallon of lite compost tea diluted to 400ppms on each plant except for #5. I’m still a little worried I won’t make it through the stretch but at the same time I fear N toxicity just as much. I will give one more lite tea before the end of stretch, most likely at the end of this week. (Day 12F) Ladies responded nicely to the tea except for BBB#1. It just isn’t looking as vigorous as it was last week. It’s the only one without an air hose so I guess it couldn’t hurt to grab one. The air hose does without a doubt prevent overwatering in soil and I’m surprised I don’t see more people using it. It’s cheap, effective and gives me similar results to growing in pure coco. I’m going to give one more light foliar spray of 3ml of calmag, 3ml of kelp and 2.5ml of insect frass. (Day 14) Got the air hose hooked up to all 5 plants now. I hate that I’ve been forced to defoliate so much in early flower and it is definitely reducing bud size. Last round my bbb’s had pistil clumps twice the size at this time and they were dealing with severe deficiencies. I’m hoping it’s just genetics or the fact they are larger plants. (Day 15) I’m starting to see signs of N toxicity on the some of the new growth and overall growth on all plants except #1 has slowed. It was most likely caused by the foliar spray/tea combo. No more feeding anything for the next 12 days at least. Luckily it’s still pretty early in flower but I know that N tox can hit really hard after the stretch stops. I would be pretty upset if I vegged for 80 days only to get severe N tox in mid flower. Since it’s not breaking down in the soil, I should be fine. I’m going to defoliate some more of the large bottom fan leaves as they hold large reserves of extra nutes I don’t need. Hopefully these small defoliations aren’t stressing them at all. Next round I plan to do a big strip one week before flower, at transplant and a second big strip on day 21. (Day 17) I think I was over-worrying about the seriousness of the N tox. I’ve seen it hit very hard in mid flower and can’t be too careful. It’s almost always caused by water soluble nitrogen so I’ll try to stay away from that unless I absolutely need it. My case does not look to alarming just yet. I noticed the stunting on #3 right after that last tea so I am going to stop giving the last liter of compost tea because of how unbalanced and separated at the bottom it is. It sure helped out the other 4 plants that didn’t get the granulars from the bottom of the bucket. I‘m planning to give a bloom tea around day 26 and a final top dress a few days later. #1 has now out stretched everything else in the tent. I honestly was not expecting that. If #3 didn’t get stunted this whole week I think it would be the taller/heavier plant.
