Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Welcome to week 3 of flower for these fine ladies! As the stretching period comes to and end in about a week or so I'm excited to see the plant's develop their flowers. Some of the plants have already developed quited the frost for their age and as the cycle continues its just going to get more pronounced. Some of the plants are giving off a faint smell now mostly the Banana Smoothie smelling of cream and bananas so far. Overall I'm really pleased with what's going on so far and can't wait for further development of the flowers! Divine indica is growing great. She took to the topping well. Lots of new growth and she took well to being switched over to the SE3000. Her ph has been fairly stable. It slowly has tried to climb, which works great. Everything has been going good. I am gonna continue to lst the 6 branches outwards as far as I can. Depending on how fast she grows, I may switch her to flowering in 2 to 3 weeks. early cut pinepple ... bloom with some problems the low leaves fall as if in nitrogen deficiency but it does not seem possible ... could be the ph but I always measure it and it turns out 5.5-6.5 ... can you help me? in your opinion, how do things proceed? I put in bloom too early?

Day68 HARVEST DAY big buds

🎊 Week 12 is officially over ! I’m really pleased with the progress she’s finally stepping fully into that Purple Banana expression 🍌🍭 The buds are still packing on size, and every day brings us closer to harvest. I checked the trichomes again and we’re starting to see a nice mix: mostly milky with a few turning amber. Since the last feeding, I’ve been giving her only RO water to avoid oversaturating the soil before the finish. With two more weeks as our target, we’ll push one final week of feeding before the flush 💦🌊 One of my biggest joys as a grower is bringing out the unique characteristics of the strains I pick up as close as possible to what the breeder intended. For me, it’s not all about chasing yield. Genetics vary, and sometimes even in perfect conditions, your plants won’t look like the online photos or hit those top shelf sizes you see everywhere. But here’s the truth: If your environment, feeding/watering routine, and training techniques are on point, you’re almost guaranteed a potent, high-quality plant, regardless of final weight. So don’t stress yourself Focus on mastering your craft, learning your strains, and dialing in your system. Going very well

Pumping it for of potassium (K) for 7 days and then flushing for two weeks before harvest. Fan leaves fading to yellow with pink/purp. Sugar leaves dark purple, calyx and tips purpling too. Pics not doing it justice, buds covered in trichomes

In my quest for the perfect modern grow room, I got my hands on a super cool device: SensorPush. Each SensorPush is a tiny low-energy-bluetooth thermomether+hygrometer. I have 1 sensor in the indoor tent and 1 sensor in the outdoor micro greenhouse. Both are connected to the "SensorPush Wifi Gateway", allowing me to access to the datas at anytime from anywhere in the world. SO COOL! I started to collect datas more than a week ago and it has been already so helpful, I noticed that every single adjustment (side fan speed, thermostat mix/max, window opened/closed, driver dimming..) has a direct and immediate impact on the environment, and being able to see the detailed live statistics is the perfect way to adjust the parameters. I had one important issue this week: my timer was acting weird and the light was turning on 40 mins while the plants were in the middle of their night, but thanks to SensorPush I was able to notice the problem immediately and fix what could have gone dramatical. I love these sensors so much that I've started to dig into the SensorPush API, and guess what: after a few minutes I was able to get the datas showing up on my webcam feed, so now my webcam app is also showing me the temp+RH! These girls need to be transitioned to my out building in the grow tent but I'm having trouble getting humidity up I haven't warming with a small space heater but I can't get my humidity up so not putting them out there until I fix that hoping I still have a couple weeks Now in tent out in barn..Spider farmer SE7000 is in place..I set power down to 25% for my seedlings and I have about 18 inches from panel. Anyone who has this exact light please chime in...
