Added CO2 suplimentation and up'd the nutes to 900ppm today; the runoff was 230ppm which means the plants appreciated the additional nutes & drank good; today's feeding of rain water, cal-mag, floraMicro, FloraGrow & FloraBloom was at a pH of 5.5 and the runoff pH was 6.6 (All exceptional numbers IMO).

Gorilla Glue #4 auto is a big plant,She has a lot of side stalks and is a bit bushy. She has even as well as uneven internodes. All filled in very nice and a was suprised how big of buds there where forming near the end. A little bit of LST did help to get the cannopy more even. EC levels never raised EC 1.4 and i had never a problem with feeding her. She matured very fast and i was amazed by her speed. I harvest this plant at day 73. This plant had a wonderfull smell of pine with lime and huge cola, buds are a bit hazy covered with some nice crystals. I originally started this diary only for my own reference but I'm so pleased to have learned that others have found it helpful or interesting, for whatever reason. So, without further ado: Jan 19 Day 105 Harvest day! 🎉🎉 Not really knowing how to tackle the situation, I started by cutting all of the fan leaves I was able to reach. Then, I cut each branch working from the perimeter inward - which due to the way she grew, was essentially the same as working from the bottom branches of the meristem to the top. Each branch was cut, cleaned, and handled individually before moving on to the next. Decided to wet-trim most of the branches, leaving 4 fairly untouched (only fan leaves were removed). Will be interested to see the differences, if any. They're all drying/hanging near the grow tent ~45%RH, 72F (22C). It isn't completely dark though, as some light is escaping the tent into the closet where they are hanging. I'm hoping this isn't terrible but I'll be keeping my eye on them. The process took the better part of an evening but I was cautiously learning, taking breaks, and generally being fairly slow. I'm sure I'll be faster and more confident next time. Jan 27 Day 113 Drying is complete, I think. Branches were hung and dried for 8 days in a consistent 68F (20C) 40% RH. They were determined to be dried after hearing a snap when bending (not breaking) large stems and buds felt dry to touch. Sugar leaves bordering on crispy while buds still had some give / fluffiness. The flowers from previously manicured branches were relatively easily plucked. However, the dry trimming process for the unmanicured branches proved to be a bit of a pain. They have been placed in a pyrex container to cure. I'm hoping flavors and aromas that are currently lacking will develop in time. 🤞 --- Stats --- Veg time: ~45 days. Flowering time: ~60 days. Height ~18in., ~46cm. Main Bud Length: ~9in., 23cm. Harvested 16 Hangable branches and a few extra medium/small buds. Bud Wet Weight, with stems: 242g, ~8.5oz. Larf/Popcorn Sugar-leaf Wet Weight (not counted above): 18g, ~0.6oz. Leaf/Waste Wet Weight: 38g, ~1.3oz. Drying time: 8 days. Dried Weight with Stems: 70g, ~2oz. Trimmed and Dried Total Bud Weight: 50g, ~1.75oz. --- Thoughts in hindsight --- Firstly, I can't believe I haven't tried growing sooner. So rewarding in so many ways! My initial hope was to harvest an oz., so I am obviously quite happy we could surpass that mark by a good margin. This is a testament to the plant more than me of course, as I was completely inexperienced and was purposefully as hands-off as I could be comfortable with throughout her growth. I can only imagine things will improve with time. Paper-towel germination seems to be prone to more stress for myself and arguably the seedling as well. Floating in 1% H2O2 solution seems to be ideal for me. I made bad soil choices. This mixture seemed to be too dense, leading to some watering/strangulation issues mid-growth. My 2nd grow consisting of mostly coco coir seems healthier and seems easier to maintain proper hydration. Coco might also be reusable while this soil definitely seems spent now. I didn't respect pH at first and initial testing was eye-opening. That said, after simply testing water and fertilizer readings a few times, I gradually felt more comfortable with guestimating during most feedings, only testing sporadically later in her life cycle. This seemed to be fine and was a bit of a relief after early testing proved tedious every feed. I've been happy with Better-Gro orchid fertilizer. This is of course contrary to most advice, which I admit is probably for good reason. That said though, I didn't notice any major toxicities or deficiencies during her grow. So, these products seem to have worked for me and are so much more affordable than cannabis-specific fertilizers. I was quite weary about not having cal-mag, but this never seemed to be an issue in this particular case. However, I'll be keeping a similar eye on my 2nd grow in coco, which I understand may need it. Training and pruning is important. This plant was quite bushy and wild likely resulting in quite a bit of unnecessary larf/popcorn. Not to mention the additional time needed to trim when harvesting. Also regarding training, pipe cleaners can leave noticeable cuts in the stem they hold. Thickly coated flexible garden wire would likely be ideal. I need to get a loupe or magnifying attachment for the phone. Digital zoom with shaky hands is not great for checking trichomes and my 3x magnifying glass just doesn't cut it. I cannot speak toward potency or yield without more experience, but simply for the sake of a greener hue, I think I could've harvested her a week earlier. Because I left a few branches untended during dry, I was able to experience both the wet and dry trimming processes. Unless keeping leaves for extra humidity during drying, I seem to prefer wet trimming as the still supple leaves were easier to remove with less bud handling. This week has been hectic ...my gorrila breath mothers started randomly flowering ...i have no idea whats going on ....its not a auto and im pretty sure theres more than 12 hours light a day .....its January in Africa! ! So im gonna take as many cuttings as i can and pollinate them what's left over with ... amnesia zkittlez auto that my girlfriend is growing .....from 420 fast buds.....

They had an hour drive roadtrip today, I hope they didn't get stressed. Moved them to their new home where they are under a 825W Gavita HPS. Today I stopped the Botanium's nutrients and started the Advanced Nutrient's PH Perfect Micro/Grow/Bloom, 1ml of each, inside their 1lt tank. Overall so far they look really healthy, happy, and smell good. This is basically an attempt to grow weed the easiest way possible... I started this grow under my desk with fluorescent tubes ducktaped on it... It's also an experiment to see if it's possible to grow Cannabis with a Botanium. This is an almost completely automatic grow using a simple automatic hydroponic system pot that has an inside timer and waters the plants every 3 hours, and they also claim that it's impossible to overwater the plant with this system. Let's see through this test... The capacity of the pot is kinda small to grow a big juicy tree, so I'm trying to get just a few nugs the simplest way possible... The strain is Green-O-Matic which is one of the smallest cannabis strains ever bred. It consists of some really interesting parents which are White Dwarf, Low Rider, a short Moroccan landrace and a short Ruderalis landrace I hope you enjoy this simple experiment...

Día 01 de su octava semana de flora. Pandemia kush y la Trimosa x mimosa sin apical se van a cortar a mediados de esta semana. El resto por cuestión de tiempo voy a apurarlas cortandolas en 10 días más.

They were all very slow to start compared to all the other strains I grew and seemed to dislike everything I was doing. Real problem children.... They were runty until about the last 2 weeks of their lives, then really packed it on and ripened quickly. I was really surprised they weighed as well as they did, but they all really fattened up with I added the other QB, bringing the total wattage to 360w in the 5 sq ft space. Didn't keep separate weights, but the total was 168g...roughly 40g's per plant. Final thoughts: Of the 6 DD's I've grown over the past couple of years, they are consistently a pain in my ass, and poor-producers.. but it's top-shelf bud. It's prolly the wife's favorite flavor, so I gotta grow a little every season... Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 9/10 Potency: 8/10 Yield: 6/10 Bag-appeal: 8/10 Ease of growing: 3/10

I started germination of 1 Gorilla Zkittlez bean on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plug was just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made hole. Than I sowed my bean into the hole. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the hole in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plug into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see a sprout. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plug planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get this lady situated into her home. Cant wait! Some Background information on my experience with Gorilla Zkittlez. I've grown this variety out twice so far. Once in a 15 gallon container which became a super branchy beast. That yielded a large amount and filled up it's own 4x4 tent with a little training. The second and most recent time was in a 1 gallon SOG grow. She also flourished in a fast flip SOG grow banging off a fat head frosty main cola, with a few satellite buds. Very adaptive strain and seems to flourish in any environment and any size space. Looking forward too my 3rd adventure with Barneys farms masterpiece.

27/04/2021 (Day 42) Todo viene muy bien, las plantas están comiendo con muchas ganas y consumen unos 15L de solución diario. La preflora está comenzando! Ya se puede observar como van estirando y mostrando bastantes pelos! Los Citizen x 8 están trabajando a un 80% rondado los 500W. 28/04/2021 (Day 43) Se realizo un nuevo cambio de solución, las plantas ya están tirando pelos y los leds están al 80%, se observo un gran crecimiento radicular y las paredes del tallo son increíblemente gruesas y duras. 03/05/2021 (Day 48) Las plantas vienen con un crecimiento optimo pero la flora se está tardando demasiado en hacerse presente, se estima que es debido al estrés que tuvo en semana 3 de vege produjo un retraso de algunos días. Esta semana se incorpora Safe Roots al sistema con la finalidad de que deje la solución lo mas limpia posible. También se realizaron bastantes defoliaciones ya que no existía penetracion de luz teniendo en cuenta el tamaño que están ocupando (85% del espacio de cultivo a 30/35 cm de altura)
