Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. TrolMaster Hub & Data Monitoring Throughout the week, we have been closely monitoring our grow using the TrolMaster App TM+. We are displaying some of the collected data for everyone to see the details. Stay tuned as we explore this further in the next report! As always, we want to extend a huge thank you to our sponsors and the amazing community. Special thanks to Aptus, Groovebags, Cannakan, Promix, Ziggy Papers, TrolMaster, and Plagron, Zamnesia and Grow Diaries for making the Eternity Cup possible. I apprecilove the support from all sides—lovers, haters, competitors, and fellow growers. The competition continues to push us to improve, and i am thrilled to see the incredible reports from others. This is a challenging yet rewarding experience, and i couldn’t be happier to be part of it. For those following along, we invite you to check out our YouTube channel, where we upload full 4K episodes showcasing the entire journey. Some episodes are too large to be uploaded directly to Grow Diaries, so YouTube is the best place to catch everything in high definition. This marks the end of VEG, and we are officially ready to flip to FLOWER. Next week, we will dive into the TrolMaster System in action, check the data insights, and monitor how the garden adapts to the shift. Stay tuned! On the start of week 4 flower the gals are doing well :) The Blueberry scent is getting stronger. I defoliated lower growth sites and cleaned up the top canopy to let more light and air in. I couldn't get everything I wanted to prune because I cant reach the back of the canopy, so some larf will be expected on my plant in the back of the box. On day 2 its all on cruize control now not much else to do but keep my reservoir on point and wait for the girls to bulk up and mature :). On day 6 I mixed up a new 5 gal reservoir with my bloom nutes. At the end of week 4 flower the girls smell great :). the smell is building every day along with the buds :) I'm really happy and surprised with the production at only week 4. It seems my clone may be optimized to my growing environment and or the increased light levels from being too close to the grow lights have accelerated the flowering process.

dear grow community, I report back with the fifth week of my royal gorilla auto grow. This week my plants have started to flower. They have grown extremely well and I have a lot of fun taking care of them. I have now stopped using LST as I want the plants to grow upwards. I have also changed my fertilizer. I also changed my sodium vapor lamp from veg to flower. I'm looking forward to see my babies flower and hopefully produce big buds. I am mostly satisfied with the strain, but one plant has began to flower realy early as you can see in the picture. best wishes absolutgrow

Sep 7: what a great plant. Totally love how it’s going. Flowers keep getting fatter and heavier and she’ll be done before the end of September. Sep 8: there a tree root sticking up a bit in my yard which means the plant can be tilted toward the late afternoon sun. This is helpful because the sun is getting really low to the horizon already and we’re down to 13 h of daylight. Plus now direct sun is done in my yard by about 6 pm. Indirect light is okay but you really want direct sun at all times. Videos shows use of 730 nm far red light at dusk. Just a few seconds is all it takes to set the plant into dark mode two hours faster. It’s a bloom booster because you get two bonus hours of darkness or a 26 h day. Very effective but don’t miss a night and you have to adjust the timing each night. When starting this on July 20 Civil Twilight, as listed on timeanddate.com for my location, was at 9:45 and today it was at 8:40 pm. The red light at dusk is a highly recommended trick if you have daily access to your outdoor plants. Also works indoors, of course, and on autos too. Also I think it helps ‘stabilize’ the plant by emphatically putting it into dark mode, and therefore less susceptible to stray light to cause a hermie. Have not had hermie problems in four seasons of using the red light so that is my only ‘proof’ but it is true so far, even with taking flash pics before using the red light. Sep 9: getting heavier and now more branches are weighed down and slumping against the scrog net. Nice problem to have, I know, and without the scrog net some of the branches would be breaking off now. She’s now officially too big and too top heavy to keep moving around the yard in pursuit of direct sun. Sun is much lower to horizon now and direct sun hours are dropping too. Sep 10: getting close to done and getting very top heavy. Awesome. Sep 12: raining today. Has been cool last few nights and some purple colour is just starting to show. I don’t want to overdo fertilizer near the end, but I decided she is showing K deficiency. I’m out of malted barley but I still have potassium silicate, so I used that and some cal-mag. I’m avoiding kelp and molasses or using more P at this late stage because that can make the dried bud hard to burn and that really sucks. So, potassium silicate and cal-mag it is. The potassium silicate raises the pH and it takes about the same volume of vinegar to get the pH down. A good does of acetate is likely good for the bugs in the soil too. Then a squirt of Dr Bronners soap as a surfactant and that also supplies some biodegradable carbon for the bugs in the soil. Seems to work overall and is cheap. Apologies for the large number of pics, but she’s so photogenic. 😎 #seedsman420growoff #seedsmanseeds

Please like and follow the diary, or leave a comment!! appreciate the support guys🙏💚🔥 Ok guys here we are i thought they would be ready for harvest by now, but i think they gave another 7-9 days to go soo fingers crossed next post will be harvest time! I would have carried on feeding if I knew it would take this , but now we are on flawless finish until harvest Trichomes are still mostly milky, have some clear ones on the banana purple punch because she is foxtailing like mad because of heat, and just a touch of amber on some Been 30+ Celsius most of the grow, luckily this week will be cooler for them I also did a stupid and fell in my tent while taking pics, ended up with 1 branch of z up as a premature tester hahaah I've added some pics of it Am going to enter my banana purple punch and z up in the biggest cola contest (I know my ruler starts from 22cm my 10 month old broke it) so BPP is currently 34cm long and the z up is 24 cm long

7/29 - Week 9 of veg is starting. At this point, it is just let them grow up a few inches, and also fill out the pots some more with roots before transplanting to 5 gallon fabric pots (their final homes). I also plan on mixing a 'flower blend' soil to fill up the 5g pot around the rootball that is transplanted. This recipe for the soil is taken from MaximumYield: Enhanced fruit/flower potting soil recipe This soil recipe is designed for plants that are ready to fruit or flower. In particular, this recipe works great for ornamentals that are already in bloom and for fast-growing annuals that are entering their fruiting or flowering stage. Parenthesis indicate small changes or products I'm using. 1/2 cu. ft. (60 cups) sphagnum peat moss (Promix BX) 1/4 cu. ft. (30 cups) coco coir (Mother Earth Coco Peat) 1/4 cu. ft. (30 cups) compost (either compost or manure) 1/4 cu. ft. (30 cups) perlite 10 cups pumice (likely to just use perlite here) 5 cups worm castings 3 cups bat guano (high phosphorus) 1 cup fish bone meal (using regular bone meal, got Jobe's Bone Meal) 1 cup oyster shell 1/2 cup seabird guano (likely to just add as the high phosporous guano) 1/4 cup alfalfa meal 1/4 cup fish meal (Down to Earth Fish Meal) 2 tbsp. langbeinite (Down to Earth Langeinite) 1 tbsp. glacier rock dust (Azomite ordered from Amazon) 7/30 - While technically the morning of 7/31, lights haven't gone out yet, so it is still the 30th ;) It almost hurts posting pictures today, because they were really thirsty, but I honestly hadn't looked at them for a couple days. Anywho, the plants were watered with ~1.25 liters of water each, about 90 minutes before lights out. Will be interesting to post the 7/31 photos after a couple hours of lights on, and see the difference in appearance. I also mixed the soil for flowering, and it will now have a couple weeks to 'cook' and become ready for the plants. I did make a mistake and accidentally added 1 cup of fish meal instead of 1/4 cup (oops), and the alfalfa meal just smelled too good, so I added 1/2 cup instead of 1/4. Hopefully those 2 'changes' don't add too much nitrogen for flower, but I imagine it won't. I also instead of adding perlite (didn't want to buy a 4 cu ft bag when I needed at most 2.5 gallons (1/3 cu ft), so I opted to add 1 gallon of pumice. Since the coco peat and promix both have perlite in them, I didn't want too much added. There were also some worms from the compost that made it into the tote that is now storing the mix, so life has already started in the soil. 7/31 - It wasn't just after lights on, as I didn't have time to photo earlier, but this is just about 24 hours after watering, and praying/looking good. I had noticed that it looked like the fan had slipped down the pole a bit, and was causing some wind burn/clawing of the leaves yesterday, which probably attributed to poor looks, but looking better today! I am not that versed in checking preflowers, though I know the difference for sure once flowering starts, but it appears both of these may be ladies! 8/4 - After getting home from work, and realizing I hadn't checked on the plants in a couple days and I knew they were due for water either yesterday or today, I saw some THIRSTY plants. They each got ~1.2L of water, and also a quick trim back. Also, as shown in the pictures, and while still under 18/6 light, DC#2 has developed balls, and is definitely a male. I have been contemplating growing any males out for pollen, but that just might be further down the road for me. He will likely get the plug soon. On the plus side, DC#1 definitely has hairs!

Amazing Colours! As you can see the colours on this plant at the end of its run are absolutely amazing. The buds didnt out as dense as I had hoped but I think thats just this pheno and we are busy hunting a denser pheno atm. what a great strain to grow though. no problems during the cycle of the plant and the colours make it so rewarding to grow! I would definitely recommend this strain to people who like fruity and colourful plants. Barneys never disappoints really;)

Looking back at recent weeks I realized that I mustve had a weird filter put over my pictures because some spots of most of my pictures are really unnaturally green looking. It kinda angers me but I fixed it, quality of my pictures looks much better now. Picture 1 - Day 36 - Beginning of Week 6 Video 2 - Day 36 - Just a quick vid of how things are looking in the tent rn. The jamaicans are growing good too. Picture 3 - Day 36 - Dwarf 1 looking good, he has stopped stretching now at 70cm. Picture 4 & 5 - Day 36 - Buds on Dwarf 1. Picture 6 - Day 36 - Dwarf 2.1 has weird looking new growth and isnt growing as fast as Dwarf 1, I think he will probably stretch a lot soon since he is in flower now. Picture 7 & 8 - Day 36 - Dwarf 2.1 shooting pistils. Picture 9 - Day 37 - Dwarf 1 going ok. Picture 10 - Day 37 - Trimmed of some of the dying lower leaves of dwarf 1, still contemplating a flush on both the dwarfs. Picture 11 - Day 37 - Dwarf 2.1 also going good. Picture 12 - Day 39 - Dwarf 1 going strong. Will flush at next watering. Picture 13 - Day 39 - Dwarf 2.1 also going good. Picture 14 - Day 40 - Just a quick vid of current setup, started lst on the jamaican pearl that I topped. Picture 15 - Day 40 - Dwarf 1 is developing a lot of buds. Picture 16 - Day 40 - Dwarf 1 buds. Picture 17 - Day 40 - Dwarf 2.1 also developing buds.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now almost halfway through flowering which is 4 weeks into flower, and the stretch has just finished. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I did start to add a PK booster last week pushing the EC up to 1.4. I also switched the Medic Grow light from V1 to the F1 Spectrum at the beginning of last week, and will be integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The tallest plants are the Sundae Driver and the Durban Nights at 44" and the Red Hot Cookies is the shortest plant at 40" however they all look happy and healthy and capable of easily giving up a half pound each. The 5X5 tent is starting to really fill up and they are just now starting to smell. I was out of town all weekend so I was unable to make a time lapse video but I will update next week. I did defoliate twice this week and I may do one or two more rounds before just letting them do their thing. Not much to do from here on out except make sure the reservoir is full and the PH is in the proper range. I hope everyone has a great weekend, Thanks for stopping by, Stay Safe and Blaze On!!! 💪 Website: https://medicgrow.com/ https://growdiaries.com/grower/medicgrowled
