Day 44 – Steady March into Flowering The journey continues! Although the weather remains inconsistent — with chilly mornings, bursts of afternoon sun, and cold nights — this lady refuses to be held back. She’s thriving confidently in her super soil blend, nourished solely with pH-balanced tap water, and showing no signs of slowing down. Her foliage has become lush and expansive, acting like solar panels eagerly soaking in every bit of light they can capture between the clouds. New growth is vigorous, and the pre-flowering signs are now clearly taking shape, promising a smooth transition into full bloom. The top node is beginning to stack, and those early pistils are spreading — a sure sign she’s enjoying her environment. Although nighttime temperatures have dipped, she’s been strong enough to remain outdoors under the open sky. To protect her from the sneaky slug patrol, I’ve elevated her above ground level — a small tactic, but one that keeps her canopy untouched and flourishing. There’s something uniquely rewarding about this outdoor grow — it’s low-cost, hands-on, and deeply satisfying. While indoor tents offer more control, nothing beats adapting to nature’s rhythm and still achieving such healthy development. Much credit goes to FastBuds.com for the genetics. This girl is showing impressive resilience, structure, and poise — exactly what you want in a CBD-dominant auto. Can’t wait to transform this harvest into some rich, therapeutic CBD oil. One step closer each day! Day 46 – Thriving Naturally Under Open Skies This lady continues to prove that sometimes, less is truly more. I’ve kept things as simple and natural as possible — no synthetic nutrients, no grow tents, no artificial stimulation. Just clean, pH-balanced tap water and a super soil blend I mixed myself months ago. The result? A strong, healthy, and surprisingly resilient plant that now towers confidently at over 60 cm and is embracing her flowering phase with grace. Yesterday brought a refreshing rainfall — and while some might worry about outdoor exposure, this girl clearly enjoyed every drop. Her leaves were glistening with energy this morning as the sun returned, and the vibrant growth is undeniable. It’s moments like these that remind me why I chose an outdoor grow: nature takes care of its own when we provide the right foundation. I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to keep her outside right through to harvest. With the summer sun still ahead, she’s got the best part of the season to stretch, stack, and swell those buds. Massive appreciation to FastBuds.com — the genetics are absolutely spot on for a low-maintenance grower like myself. Reliable, vigorous, and beautiful to watch evolve. No gimmicks. No stress. Just sun, soil, and the will to grow. Day 49 – Battle-Tested by Nature, Still Standing Tall What a wild few days it’s been! Heavy rain and strong winds put my lady through her first proper trial. At one point she even took a tumble from her pedestal and bent slightly under the pressure. But if there’s one thing that’s become crystal clear — Fast Buds genetics are made of iron. 💪 Despite the rough weather, she’s bounced back beautifully. Today the skies have cleared, and the sunshine has returned — and so has her posture. Her leaves are once again reaching outward with confidence, showing no signs of stress or damage. It’s moments like these that make outdoor cultivation so rewarding. There’s no hiding from the elements out here — it’s all about adaptability, resilience, and harmony with nature. My growing technique remains deliberately minimalistic: no artificial feeds, no grow tents, no special shelters — just pure rain, sunlight, and my homemade super soil blend. The goal is to let nature take the lead, and so far, she’s doing a brilliant job. If you’re thinking of trying an outdoor grow and want something straightforward yet satisfying, I can’t recommend FastBuds.com genetics enough. They’ve created a line that genuinely thrives even under less-than-ideal conditions. We’ve now passed the 7-week mark, and I’m more convinced than ever that this grow will finish strong, under open skies — just the way I envisioned. 🌿☀️

Our L.A. Kush Cake #3 started slowly, then vegetated very well, and now we're embarking on the flowering adventure in excellent shape. We're in an 11-liter Zamnesia fabric airpot. Techniques chosen: the plant was top-dressed with a 16-tip top-dressing, so four times. We're 100% organic and 1000% Plagron, as always. The soil we've chosen is the recently launched Plagron Bio LightMix, which will allow us to get the grow started more smoothly and reliably, without the sudden changes that liquid fertilizers can cause. A week is more than enough, so let's not overdo it. We're in the early stages of flowering, but we're well-equipped with fertilizers and additives. We've added: - Power Roots 1 ml/l (Always use it for the first two weeks of flowering, especially after transplanting) - Pure Zym 1 ml/l - Silic Rock 1 ml/l - CalMag Pro 1 ml/l - Sugar Royal 1 ml/l - Alga Bloom 4 ml/l - Power Buds 1 ml/l Once a week as a foliar spray: (until the first two weeks of flowering) - Vita Race 5 ml/l Choose your favorite style and calculate your results on the website: www.plagron.com Our new 720W Spider King lamp from Vanguard Hydroponics is now at 80% Z - https://www.zamnesia.io/en/531-growshop Our L.A. LA Kush Cake seeds produce stocky plants that thrive in any environment. Indoors, they require only 8-9 weeks of flowering to produce dense, trichome-rich buds with a pine-like structure and very compact calyxes. Outdoors, LA Kush Cake can be harvested in early October. Plants produce up to 600 g/m² indoors and 850 g/plant outdoors. In the right conditions, LA Kush Cake can develop intense purple hues that add to its appeal. As you open the jars of these buds, you'll feel a wave of pungent vanilla terpenes wafting through the air, balanced by spicy notes of pepper and mint. Whether you smoke or vape, you'll be instantly intoxicated by its distinctive flavor, with a velvety, creamy aftertaste followed by a powerful yet functional high. Strong start for week 8, last week of veg. Pretty impressed by these mix of nutrients, total recovery and explosive growth right after watering. And they are totally Bio! Day 55, I did top feeding with worm castings, nitroguano and amino perlas. Tomorrow I'll switch to 12/12 light cycle and start flowering stage. The vegetation stage for Mimosa Evo it's been awesome, althought every single plant grew very different from the others showing opposite phenotypes

Another week down. The timer is fully switched back to 12/12. It took a week to get there but the ladies don’t seem to mind. The gruntz is still queen of the show, or the biggest. She seems to want to take over the whole tent. Amazing how big she is getting. The Bruce is a close second. Only a few inches shorter. The widows are there and are nice but they aren’t reaching for the stars like the gruntz. They are all beautiful, what can we say, we love all our ladies. There isn’t any smell off them yet, you can get a whiff rubbing the stalk, but not strong yet. We did a defoliation this week, but I don’t think it shows. We also took a few more clones off the bottom branches. The first try of the gruntz didn’t do so well. Try ,try again. Otherwise it’s been a good week. The Dutchess and I thank you for stopping by, if you see anything we can do better let us know. Otherwise spread some love and share some bud!

Hello growers, Welcome back for another update on the Pineapple Upside Down from Humboldt, now entering week 12 of vegetative growth. This week was mostly about observation and stabilization rather than major interventions. The plant is now fully settled in the second tent. The goal of moving her there was mainly to give her more space and better environmental control. The larger space should provide improved airflow and a more stable climate overall. After the fairly heavy pruning and defoliation that was done previously, the plant appears to be recovering slowly. However, I still feel like the vigor is not quite the same as it was earlier in the cycle. The growth has resumed, but the plant doesn’t yet have the same explosive energy it showed before the structural work. That being said, nothing particularly concerning happened this week. The plant continues to develop and seems to be stabilizing gradually. One adjustment I made concerns the nutrient solution. The EC previously felt slightly too high considering the plant’s current pace of growth, so I decided to bring it back down to around 1.7 EC. The pH has been stabilized around 5.8–5.9, which should keep nutrient availability in a comfortable range for the plant. Environmental parameters look stable at the moment. Temperature sits around 25°C, and the VPD is roughly 0.9, which should encourage healthy transpiration without creating unnecessary stress. For the coming week, the strategy is simple. I’ll allow the plant to continue rebuilding foliage and recovering from the previous pruning while keeping a close eye on the environmental parameters and nutrient balance. For now, everything seems to be under control. We’ll see how she responds over the next week. Alright growers, take care and see you next week.

25/07/18 - watered with 300ml each 24 hours ago giving them their first taste of veg nutes and their responding well so far, I will be upping the dosage later this week. 29/07/18 - everything’s looking alright so far, plant #3 did fall over because of the weight of the leaves but I’ve sorted it all out and it’s back to standing on it’s own two feet. 30/07/18 - I dident feed them from 72hrs and the girl in the middle started to droop so I fed them all 600ml each. 31/07/18- the girl in the middle has perked up abit but all three seem to be not praying 🙏🏻 to the sungod.

Purple Punch is a popular cannabis strain known for its potent effects and fruity, dessert-like aroma. Its genetics are rooted in a cross between Larry OG and Granddaddy Purple (GDP), two highly regarded strains in the cannabis world. Here's a breakdown of its genetics: Parent Strains 1. Larry OG Type: Hybrid (Indica-dominant) Origin: Derived from OG Kush, a classic strain with a strong, earthy, and piney aroma. Effects: Known for its relaxing and euphoric qualities. Greetings fellow growers 🖖 and welcome to my first grow ever. This adventure actually started several months ago when I decided to stop buying flower from dispensaries and just grow my own bud. How hard can it be!? This is actually my second seed of this strain. The first bean sadly died due to over watering (sorry girl, RIP). I was literally watering the cube to the point where water was dripping from the bottom, then heavily sprayed the humidity dome and tray with the vents completely closed. Everyday. Multiple times. I never let the dome or try dry out. So after about 8 days of not sprouting, there was a funky smell of rot. So that was that. Later I learned that rockwool retains a lot of water and can easily drown seeds. So a wet/dry cycle is best for rockwool germination. So even after hours of researching and digging through forums and tutorial videos, I was still under prepared for this journey. Did not consider how delicate the germination phase is. Oh well. Lesson learned. Reset and try again! I hope everyone is safe and stoned during this corona crisis. Just like everyone else in the world, I want this pandemic to be over with. But in the meantime, let's grow some weed! 🖖 [START OF WEEK 01] Day 01 - Monday - 08/03/20 - Total Days: 001 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Light Schedule: 24Hrs/0 --- Soaked cube in 5.5 PH water for 10 min. Did not shake water out. --- NO NUTES! Only PH'd down to control the PH levels. --- Did not use the default hole (way too deep). --- Flipped cube upside down and made a shallow hole for the seed (less than 0.25" deep). --- Placed seed in and pinched hole close. No additional water added. --- Sprayed the tray and dome with straight water (5.5 PH). --- Vents are cracked opened a for ventilation (about 1/4 opened each). --- Distance between the light and tray was 53" --- AC was set to 80 °F --- Exhaust fan was set to 86 °F --- Room average temp was at 85 °F --- Dome humidity was at 85-99% when sprayed. --- Allowing to completely dry before respraying. - [2200]: Dome and tray were completely dry! Sprayed only tray and dome with more water. Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/04/20 - Total Days: 002 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Sprayed dome and tray in the morning. Everything was dry. --- Hoping for the best! - [2130]: Everything was dry again, so sprayed dome and tray at night along with a light spray on the cube. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/05/20 - Total Days: 003 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Everything was dry again. Resprayed dome and tray. Slightly sprayed cube. - [2125]: Hooo damn!! She popped! Am little stub is visible! Resprayed dome and tray again. --- Still going 24/0 for lights. - [+0033]: Just checked up on her and I swear she grew a bit taller! Getting excited! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/06/20 - Total Days: 004 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Wow! Went from a little stub to fully sprouted overnight! Everything was pretty dry again so resprayed dome and tray. - [2200]: Tap root is visible! Over 1" long too! Just resprayed dome and tray again. -- Going to prep for hydroton transplant tomorrow! Day 05 - Friday - 08/07/20 - Total Days: 005 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: She keeps growing! -- Added a bit of CalMag to the spray bottle (8 drops to 650ml of distilled water). Resprayed dome and tray. Water was at a 5.4 PH with 141 PPM. - [1045]: Prepped the bubble bucket with 4.5gal of water. Water is high enough to reach about 0.25" above the bottom of the net pot. --- Added 3 drops of Superthrive --- Added 3.5ml of CaliMagic --- Added 2ml Hydroguard --- Then PH'd down to 5.6 --- Solution Strengh: 120 PPM --- Water chiller is set to 20 °C - [1100]: Transplant time! --- Filled the net basket 1/3 with hydroton. When placed in the bucket, air bubbles are not visible, but are slightly below the surface (slight digging will reveal the water/bubbles below). --- Removed plastic on rockwool cube and placed in basket, then filled around and covered with hydroton. Making sure to block any light from passing through the net pot and into the nutrient solution. --- Covered with a half-bottle dome sprayed with the CalMag water from earlier. --- Hoping for the best! - [1300]: Raised Bucket 5" higher. Now light distance is 48" to top of bucket. - [1820]: Lowered tent exhaust temp to 76 °F --- Lowered AC to 75 °F --- Raised bucket even higher so light distance is 30" to top of bucket. - [2300]: Looking good! --- Sprayed dome and surrounding hydroton with more CalMag water. --- Attached timer to light! So new 18 Hrs On/6 Hrs Off light schedule. --- Lights On: [1600] (4pm) --- Lights Off: [+1000] (10am the next day) --- Decided to go with lights on during the evening/night and off during the later mornings/afternoon (the hottest part of the day) to see if temps can be controlled better. --- Please survive girl! Day 06 - Saturday - 08/08/20 - Total Days: 006 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Everything was dry. Resprayed hydroton and dome. - [2000]: Here first night cycle seemed to go well! Get'n taller! --- Dry again. Removed the dome. --- PH went up to 6.5 so PH'd down to 5.7 --- Ran the top feed drip ring for a bout a minute to wet the hydroton and rockwool with the nutient solution. ---Too scared to leave the top feed on 24hrs (I don't want over water her and cause dampening-off). Will let dry before re-watering. - [2100]: After closer inspection, I think she's looking a bit yellow. --- Decided to add a bit of grow nutes to the bubbler solution. --- Added 2ml of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 176 PPM --- PH went up to 6 --- I hope that the extra chelating properties of the 'PH Perfect' solution is enough of a buffer for proper nutrient uptake. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/09/20 - Total Days: 007 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Water dropped a bit (mostly due to evaporation) so solution strength was at 190. --- Checked PH again. Was still at 6, so PH'd down to 5.4 --- Ran the top feed for a minute to wet the hydroton a bit. - [0915]: Since she's looking perky but still a bit yellow. So decided to up the nutrient concentration even more before lights out. --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 199 PPM --- PH went up to 5.8 - [1700]: Checked nutrients. --- PH: 5.9 --- Solution strength: 202 PPM --- Added 4ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- PH after adding more nutes: 5.9 --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 238 PPM - [2130]: Decided to make a new foliar spray to address the continued yellowing. --- Started with 500ml of distilled water. --- Added 3 drops of CaliMagic --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow A --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow B --- Added 3 drops of B-52 --- Added 1 drop of Superthrive --- Solution strength: 164 PPM --- PH was at 5.9 and did not adjust. --- Gave her one spray. --- Also sprayed the surrounding hydroton. [END OF WEEK 01]

Wish the buds would have got a little bigger but feel like that’s particularly my fault for a short Veg but overall I am blow away by the outcome for all the seeds to just be random bag seeds! 2 of the plants are drying now 3rd one will be cut tomorrow & the other 2 got probably 2 more weeks! Will do a taste & smoke report and also give a weight as soon as they dry & cure a little bit but honestly couldn’t be happier with my first grow! Thanks for all the support & help along the way & happy growing friends!🤙🏼✌️🏼🌱 Update on 1st plant - dry weight 42g, still smelled pretty Earthy when I put it in the jar but the smell is definitely coming out now, extremely sticky & frosty buds❄️: 1:🏼🙏🏼 Update - plant 2 Dry weight was 40 grams! Extremely happy with the out come this is honestly some of the best bud I have ever smoked! Amazing to me this came from a random bag seed, it has a very citrusy flavor, smells & smokes amazing! Honestly a 10/10 in my book, wish I could knew what strain this was so I could grow it again!😫❄️✌️🏼🌱 Update - plant 3 Dry weight 34g, smells & look phenomenal, the buds are much smaller & had the smallest yield so far but this is by far the best smelling so far! Will have a smoke update on this one soon, stay tuned friends & happy growing!✌️🏼🌱 Update - plant 5 dry weight was 52g it dried a little faster than plant 4 which I will probably jar tomorrow! Will update again with a smoke report soon, this plant brought my total so far up to 168 off 4 plants👍🏼 Thanks for following friends & happy growing! Also the butter I made from the trim was 🔥🔥

Harvesting this week. Probably going to do a staggered harvest, half this week, and the rest next week. Developed nutrient burn, I’m assuming root debris breakdown. I was unable to fully change out buckets once trellis net filled up and canopy developed. Switched to Athena cleanse to help sterilize root debris. Smells like jelly donut bakery, extremely sticky. Buds stick to wall lol. The last pictures will be featured in new diary. Breeder Barney’s farm. Mimosa orange punch and Pineapple Express 3.5 weeks old in hydroponic bucket. Blue dream in fox farm ocean forest soil for outdoor transfer. Attempting cloning this season
