Giving Alien Vs Triangle a second try after my first started showing signs of herming (bananas). Planted the seed directly in soil and she sprouted in 5 days. I'm not going to do HST bending as I did with the first one. I know I accidentally went overboard with HST the first time and that most likely caused her to herm out. I want to get her to harvest as quickly as possible so just going to do some light defoliation and a FIM pinch on this girl. The first AVT smelled insanely good when I chopped her, I'm looking forward to bringing this one to a proper harvest. 👍 My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2-3 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around week 3 I'll do a FIM pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope FIM/defoliation only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. So this weeks Been warm again. Mid 20s all the way up to mid 30s I've started to Schwazz my plants in an effort to keep the airflow along the greenhouse floor . Seems to be working so far so we will see how they start to stack up.

Por dónde empezar, es una autofloreciente que es normalita de cultivar, tiene un periodo corto de crecimiento y de floración igual no es largo, o igual tendría que haberla dejado alguna semana más no entiendo bien. En cuanto a la alimentación , pues la aplique una vez por semana y a sido suficiente, se a comportado bien en interior, la flor pues no es muy prieta porque no deja de ser una autofloreciente, pero es una flor que va repleta de tricomas. El periodo de luz pues de principio a fin a 18 horas, fue suficiente para completar el ciclo de vida como esperaba. All is going well I week 8! Caramelino smelling fantastic! Northern lights got harvested! Like I said,I am disappointedin my NL clone as far as yield goes.But not disappointedin terps and thricomes. I am learning. NL started to develop nanners on the very bottom buds. I found only 3 nanners. And took them off. I also didn't really flush NL. My noob mistake but she was ready at week 7 for harvest! Caramelinolooks fantastic,nice sized buds, super nice and strong terps and very nice looking buds!Super excited for this lady! Started last week with her flush. Well see what happens. Peace

"Chugging" along this week. Weather is hot, girls are loving the all time drip system. Forgot that my nutes and hot sun dont mix well and created a bad case of algae. Will monitor more often and maybe increase the drip flow

Through germination and was delighted to experience 100% success rate👍 Killer Kush in other diaries has been more squat but a thick grower........time will tell😀 So far this pheno has been slower coming out but I notice she was a fat seed and her leaves are already thicker as well on her first set of true leaves........maybe a slow Indica?? Sweet Seeds is always solid and expect this girl to bring a smile at some point👌👍 Greater focus on VPD this run. Already pushing the humidity higher than I ever have with having controller set at 72% with temperature at 79 degrees. I have been reviewing the numbers and I have normally been close but it looks like I have to raise everything by about 10% and for a few weeks long😬😬😬😬😬😬 Trust the science and lets learn some more from this grow!!! *****Daily Detail: Apr 11, Day 1: - VPD - 1.2 - 500ml first watering given with nutrients as listed. (minus Velokelp) - pH water to 5.6 - Girl is up and looking like she is ready to go. Apr 12, Day 2: - VPD - 1.0 - 500ml feeding with VeloKelp @ 2ml/L, Piranha & Voodoo @ 1ml/L. pH to 5.6 - lowered light intensity a bit more. - leaves are wide already on her first set. Apr 13, Day 3 - VPD - 1.2 - 500ml water with 0.5ml/L each of Piranha & Voodoo, Dual Fuel. - 300ppm with 5.4pH. Apr 14, Day 4 - VPD - 1.1 - 500ml water with Virtathrive and Piranha & Voodoo Juice @ 1ml/L, VeloKelp @ 2ml/L, and SensiCal @ 0.5ml/L. - 210ppm with 5.5pH. - She is gaining speed!!!! She is the fastest out of the bunch now. 2.5” tall and pushing out her second leaves pretty hard.😀👍 Apr 15, Day 5 - VPD 1.0 - 250ml water with VeloKelp @ 1ml/L. - 95ppm with 5.4pH. - She was a little slow in the seed but has been doing very will getting taller so far. Apr 16, Day 6 - VPD 1.0 - 500ml water with Piranha & Voodoo @ 1ml/L, Vitathrive @ 0.5ml/L, Dual Fuel @ 0.5ml/L. - 300ppm with 5.8pH - Her leaf tips are staying more horizontal. Colour is good and she getting thicker leaves. Leaves really separating. - Moved all the girls today one spot in a clockwise rotation. - Noticed more residual moisture on the bottom of the pots than anticipated. Apr 17, Day 7 - VPD 1.1 - Turned on flower light on UnitFarm this afternoon and they are happier. - Dry out day today and no added water/feed, just misting. - Let the medium dry out a bit and give a nice week 2 feed tomorrow.....they are ready for a little more nutrients now. - She is doing well. Second set of leaves out, will be working on third soon. Wide leaves. She is leaning a bit🍺🍷😃👌

11/3 - Today is technically the first day of Week 5 and also the first day I could see a visible drop in her water level since her last check-in (~12 hours apart). As a result, her ppms shot up to around 800. I diluted the solution with straight tap (7.5pH, 170ppm) since her pH was registering around 5.3. This brought her up to 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would have liked to adjust her pH more, but the water level ended up at the bottom of the basket. I'll adjust further as necessary. The other day while attempting to LST her top branches, they ended up snapping off, so I just topped her down one node and broadened her other LST to make her as squat as possible. Once I am able to find a suitable individual ScrOG screen, I will put it on her. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. The first of which is a visible difference between her foliage density in a span of 36 hours. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 645ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place. Well, I nutrient burned her 3 times in a row from 1st time growers mistakes. And she didn't take it too well. She got stunted pretty bad. But I still managed to pull her thru. I did make a huge mistake and used florakleen for 2 days longer then directions say and when harvested buds and stems had a werid wet stickiness and had a werid smell. So I'm pretty sure I ruined them. They are drying now I haven't weighed them and to be honest I am probably not going to smoke it and just throw it away after weighting it. I'm super sensitive to off smells and taste, so I'll pass after smelling during harvest. But I did cut one branch off before adding florakleen, so I will have a bud or 2 to try... I'll check back in after a proper cure of the branch I cut off before running the whole damn plant... smh...

Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different!
