Week 1! Super excited to try NO in dwc.

8/23 shes smelling so much like blueberries💚 im super concerned with the amount of leaves my plants are cannibalizing/ losing. They've been turning yellow and then eventually golden brownish crisp and fall off. The leaves that are falling off, only seem to be fan leaves and all the leaves around the pistils/main parts of branches/plant, all seem to be intact and very healthy still. I hope she's able to stay healthy till the finish of the grow. First outdoor grow. Learning experience 💚🤘I should have added some fish meal in the middle of July so she had some nitrogen for the beginning of flowering. I'm concerned the leaves lost is due to nitrogen deficiency. But I'm 3 weeks into flower and dont want to confuse her with more nitrogen than I have been giving 8/24 fed some more open sesame. 8/28 thinking my plants have been having a ph lock out causing magnesium deficiency

Seid gegrüßt Growmies, Ich habe nur am anfang die ausgespülte Erde mit dem Dünger Gemisch feucht gemacht da ich sie wieder verwende wollte ich zur vorbeugend wegen meinem sehr weichen Wasser etwas calmag in die Erde. Die extreme Hitze und starkes LED Licht vertragen beide sehr gut nur B definitiv besser. Deswegen habe ich erstmal nur einen Samen pro Fas Version verwendet. Weil ich nicht gezielt Rücksicht nehmen wollte auf die strains und sehen wie sie bei extremen Situationen sich bewähren. *Update* leider etwas zu trocken geworden deswegen sind die blattspitzen leicht welk geworden. B hat noch genug Zeit sich zu erholen und anzupassen.

10/29 fighting off spidermites on some of the smaller plants 10/30 using spinosad and safer brand insecticidal soap 11/01 the mainlined plant is finally starting to grow upwards. other plants seem to have deficiency. then plant 2 and 3 need to be transplantwd from their 1 gal

Just letting them cruise along. Increased the ec to 2.1 highest I think ill take it , but so far so good. Really wish I would have had controlled the stretch alil more so the buds would have filled out better. But the smell these gals are putting off Is so good. Can't wait to burn this stuff. !! The 7th week started. Based on the Breeder's description it is supposed to be the final week for The Gelato Cookie D'ohpe so it should be ready to harvest. It is my first grow but I can say it needs a minimum of 2 weeks to be ready. I think 10 weeks at least. I have checked another diary with the same strain and it took 10-12 weeks to be finished. I placed the Purple Punch 38 hours Darkness so from now I will give 14 hours darkness and 10 hours light schedule to start flowering. They are in the same tent so I take out in the morning to be in darkness, and put back at night. I did reset the timers. Water: 125 ml 2x daily each plant so altogether 250ml a day for 2 plants. I raise up every week with 50 ml a week per plant. Fertilization the same amount of water the same acacia honey around 2 big spoons and bat guano 1 teaspoon per 1-liter water and I fertilize it 3 times a week every second day on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, plus one-half day like on Saturday once. So from today (Thursday), I started forcing the feminized strain Purple Punch to flower also after 45 days from germination. This week not too much things to say. The Gelato Cookie D'ohpe stopped growing just added an extra 5 cm to its height. Hopefully it focuses on the bigger buds creation. Purple Punch grew an extra 2 cm. End of the week Purple Punch is 37 cm, Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is 70cm.

The plant took off this week. I am relatively new so was working through getting my PH measuring/balancing down. Now that I have established a better method the plant responded well. Put in a scrog to help even the canopy for the future. The other plant I have running is a bubblegum autoflower that is a few weeks older (right). Personally I really loved the look of the gold leaf at this point, it had a very nice spiral look to it almost like an xmas wreath.

9/8/2024 Plant B showing signs of female with hairs coming from the pre-flower formations. Looks to be stretching and starting to push into flower as well. Plant A is growing insanely well! Continuing to defoliate daily by removing larger fan leaves here and there to continue to open up the canopies on both plants. No complete water change yet since a few weeks ago. I have continued to add fresh nutrient water with an occasional pH-adjusted gallon of filtered water + cal mag. 9/10/2024 Both plants and stretching nicely and developing great canopies! Plant A is an absolute monster, plant B is small and compact but has really good node spacing already. I am expecting some nice flower development over the next few weeks! Topping off the reservoir with about 1 - 1.5 gallons per day of nutrient water at this point. Continuing to prune a good handful of leaves and smaller growth from the plants to open up the canopy leading up to day 21 final trim. Trying to stay ahead of a huge stress event for the plants. 9/12/2024 Continuing to defoliate handful of leaves and prune smaller undergrowth. Cutting only 2-4 stems per day to avoid over stressing. 9/13/2024 Raised lights over plant A a few inches as it continues to stretch. Also trying to keep the lights low enough for plant B without burning the side branches of plant A. 9/14/2024 All week I have been adding nutrient water to the system. No water change or replacement. However today, I decided to introduce just pH-balanced water to drop the nitrogen concentration in the system as we transition into week 3 flower. Highest PPM throughout the week was around 900, average 800, low in the PM after pH water 700. Had a minor flow issue with a root plug in one of the drain lines. Blew them out and flow returned. Humidity in the tent has been slightly higher than ideal this week, although VPD has been around 1 - 1.4 with the lights on. Likely due to the volume of plant matter in the tent. Doing my best to keep up with defoliation and trimming. Day 21 flower will be much needed!

Hey now! This week went very well. I feel like she is finally done growing, and just starting to thicken up and ripen. I did switch from the liquid koolbloom to the dry, and within 48 hours or so I really started noticing the weight of the colas start leaning towards the floor. I did support the main colas last week, but this week I noticed several of the smaller unsupported colas started drooping to the floor, so i added a few support lines. I am thinking maybe she has two or three weeks left. I am not a big believer in an all out flush, as I do not wish to stress her out even near the end. Rather, I am gradually weaning her off the nutes over the next 2-3 weeks. She is starting to get brown tips on almost every leaf so not sure if this is just her being near the end or a bigger issue?? Any advice please hit me up! I'm still struggling with humidity issues, but she seems to be ok! Thank you so much to everyone in this community for all the love, support, and help with my first grow. The girls are starting to wrap up their cycle. I have been watching the trichomes closely, and we are getting very close..Trying to pick the best day for both of the strains I have going at the moment, the Apple Betty are a little closer than the cookies, but they are very similar in readiness… I’ll be checking daily, I did get a wireless microscope for Christmas so it has become much easier to tell👨‍🔬 I’ve got mostly cloudy, with a few clear, but I am waiting for a bit more amber to give them the couch lock that I like when I smoke. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/23- Week three from seed and the second week of veg for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and she's doing surprisingly well considering the crappy weather, and being eaten like a salad by slugs and a rabbit! 5/25- The diatomaceous earth that I spread around her seems to have lessened the attacks on her leaves. I've also been spraying her down every other day with Neem Oil, and every three days with an organic insecticidal soap that I'm sure has helped as well. I watered the Papaya Sherbet today via garden hose and began to train her branches a bit as well. 5/27- The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet continues to do exceptionally well with great color and vigor, putting out new growth it seems daily. 5/29- There's three weeks on the books for this little lady and I'm looking forward to see what she'll look like in the coming weeks! I will have to top dress her soon, probably in the next few days. I haven't added any dry amendments to her since I initially amended her soil and she's a hungry girl...
