All in all this grow was super easy. I couldve done some things to make it better but she pretty much did all the work. This strain would be perfect for a SOG style grow because it produces mostly a singular main cola nug that's pretty huge and then the bottom nugs themselves are also decently chunky. 4/22 chopped the lower half the plant. Wet it weighs 50grams. Still have the main cola in a dark room for another day or so before im gonna chop. 4/26 bottom half of plant dried in 4 days. 5/2 top cola dried in 5 days. Total weight is less than 20 grams at 19.4 5/12. Ten days of cure and shes looking even better. Spongey thick nugs. Dark red almost brown Pistils with pyramid shaped nugs. I also wanted to not how fast and easy this grow actually was. She has so much amber I probably couldve chopped her 2 weeks previous. 3 weeks veg and 5 weeks flowering and some would chop. Review. Growing 9/10 for ease of growth Super fast and simple. You can Fuck up and get fat buds lol High: 9/10 super stoney. No paranoia Yield:8/10 plant a super short. Like less than a foot. Can probably yield around a zip roughly Bag appeal: 7/10after cure buds look good. Before harvest buds look fantastic as well

Hello This is the end of week 3 and the beginning of week 4 of flowering. I see they almost stretched to the roof. There's about 6 inches clearance now, when I close the tent at night. Oh Well... The stretching should be over now. I see resin starting to form on the leaves. It's always a good sign, the earlier it shows. Took off some fanleaves and sucker branches over the weekend. Better buds in the end for doing a bit of trimming now. Plant #5 smells great. Like candy and pop/soda , sweet fruity gelato type of smell. The others have more of a sweet skunky type smell. It was up over 30*c in here for a few days last week and the plants look like they can take some heat. Not wilting. That's the end of the #15 Weirdo underground comic book. This is my best auto flower grow so far. I’m kinda bummed I didn’t let her finish completely, I think she had about another week and a half left. She was just getting too big and barely any light was penetrating the other ladies I had vegging. She still gave me a great harvest and nice looking flowers.

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. The opposite is not always true; indoor clones often give an outdoor grower headaches because they don't always make the transition smoothly. Also, considering the amount of continuous shameless hybridization that has occurred in the last 40 yrs., any modern kind could easily contain over 40 kinds. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. Appetite suppression is a side effect, but the enjoyment of food is enhanced. I personally will attest to all of the above. We all have different receptor profiles, so these are just generalizations. Couch unlock. Q. Is it pest and mildew resistant? A. Indeed it is. On many occasions in the last few years, it has been observed that when pest and mildew issues were affecting other plants adjacent to in the vicinity of Freakshow plants, for unknown reasons the freaks remained entirely unaffected. This includes 0botritis, PM, various mites and insects, soil fungus, etc. We haven't heard any complaints along those lines so far, so if anyone has any problems, especially with a rigorous IPM regimen in place, we would like to hear about it. And if anyone can attest to the extreme level of resistance it seems to have we'd love to hear about that as well. Q. Does it contain web-leaf genetics? A. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. Day 57 Day 15 flower - what can I say? No issues reported so far, did some more defoliation below the scrog and tidied up some of the flower sites, removed a few of the old fan leaves and checked on Zkittlez OG, she is frosty already and starting to look really sparkly and beautiful 💎😍 The others are also showing some frost and bud development is going well!! Exciting times ahead! 290319 day 59 flower day 17 - no issues apart from slight heat stress for the girl in the middle, will adjust the light tomorrow to ease the stress. Bud candy just arrived so I will add 1ml/l on next feed tomorrow morning! Overall the bud sites have came through in numbers and are looking very strong and healthy, OG Zkittlez auto has turned into diamonds of trichomes and the others are following suite 😍 more updates to come! Hello Growmies, I'm thrilled to update you on the plant's progress! In the last week, she has beautifully filled out the scrog. Just yesterday, I flipped her into the flowering stage. This means I'll slowly increase her feeding, although I don't plan to go too heavy on the nutrients since she seems to prefer a lighter touch. She's quite particular about her nutrients, requiring me to change the reservoir every five days. If I delay, she shows signs of distress on her leaves, but these issues resolve immediately after I refresh the reservoir. While she's stretching in the preflower stage, I'll continue to guide her growth into the empty areas of the scrog screen. Hola y gracias por pasarte a ver mi diario. Recibí esta variedad mediante un paquete promocional de 2 semillas en una compra online. Una se la di a mi hermano para que la cultivase y, tras leer la ficha de la variedad en BSF Seeds, me pareció una excelente elección para añadir a mi jardín de exterior. La planta creció sin ningún problema, con mucho vigor, muchas ramas y adaptándose perfectamente al LST. Al ser un cultivo 100% orgánico y únicamente con riegos de agua del grifo sin añadir abonos líquidos era esperable alguna carencia, aunque no se apreció hasta bien entrada la floración. El hecho de añadir todos los nutrientes al sustrato me ha permitido facilitar la tarea del riego y no tener que realizar el lavado de raíces. La planta se desarrolló en una maceta de 30L y ha producido 150g de cogollos secos, muy duros y con una relación flores/hojas excelente.. El olor de las flores húmedas era fuerte, dulce y afrutado. Respecto a plagas y enfermedades ha sido muy resistente, no he apreciado signos de araña roja, pulgón ni trips gracias al aporte de harina de Neem en el sustrato. Tampoco he sufrido el temido y habitual ataque de las orugas (ni la oruga de las hojas ni la del cogollo) gracias a las pulverizaciones en las fechas clave con Bacillus Thuringiensis. Tampoco se ha visto afectada por el Oídio que normalmente aparece al final de la floración en la zona donde vivo, tampoco botrytis pese a ser cogollos densos y llenos de resina, por lo que la pastilla de Micorrizas y Trichodermas ha funcionado a la perfección, no sólo reforzando el sistema radicular sino también frente a los hongos invasores. El clima también me ha acompañado este año, vivo en una zona cálida donde la temperatura suele ser óptima para el cultivo de exterior de cannabis, el mes de mayo llovió algún día de forma agradable, junio, julio y agosto fueron especialmente secos, solo llovió un par de noches a finales de agosto, y septiembre también ha sido muy respetuoso lloviendo solo 2 veces. Por todo esto, siendo la primera vez que elaboro un supersoil, estoy seguro que para la temporada 2022 repetiré el sistema, haciendo algunos ajustes a la mezcla para evitar estas carencias que he comentado. First week of flower and these ladies are looking amazing

09/26/2021 Starting week #7 of flower still picking caterpillar, and eggs of leaves, not to serious as we are on top of it. Starting the week with banana peel tea drench 2 gallons per girl, which is all she will get besides water till harvest. Still small flushes of pistils coming out I believe she (Hulk) is in final stage of flower (4) lots of orange hairs (pistils) but fresh one coming out daily albeit slower. Hopefully she fatting up in coming weeks. 09/28/2021 Week7 Day #3 Definitely seeing more calyx swelling. #1 is chunking up nicely #2 looks good little bud rot were caused from cattipillar poop! #3 coming from behind Will be last to harvest for sure.

This week everything remains stable with no significant changes. The plant continues developing well, so I’m just maintaining the current conditions and letting her do her thing 🌸💪

4/20 smoke looks promising 4 weeks of flowering(switch off light) if ykyk what i mean....gonna finish out this diary with this set an the ones that got breed and start another one with the fresh set of cutting(already rooted) along with the rest to come ft their mom

What n°2 is lacking is n°1 compensating, (day 11, dont know what to do ph is right ppm is right themperature is ok light is ok should be recovering within 3-4 days i hope.) roots are already grown into water bucket.(should i picture them as well?) ph lv is such a pain in the ass but grow speed is worth all the trouble in hydro. (16 n°2 still not good i placed another one next to her with luck she recovers if not another one already in place to grow) (19 all hope is lost she probably doesent make it i set replacement already so waiting for her sisters to pop out and take over) (20 it is the same water in the buckets so im a little lost why one explode and the other one not,) (21 n°2 complete reset, new water, new nutrients new clay. probably died cause to shock now)

Am 27.01.21 die Ladies nach 5 Wochen vegetativer Phase in die Blüte geschickt. An den höchsten Zweigen superscropping durchgeführt um ein gleichmäßiges Höhenwachstum hinzubekommen. Dieser Strain entwickelt bis jetzt sehr viele große Blätter. In der nächsten Woche wird zum ersten mal großzügig entlaubt um das Licht an alle wichtigen Punkte zu bekommen. Durch den Stretch in den ersten Blühtewochen habe ich mich entschieden in der ersten Blühtewoche noch Wachstumsdünger zu gießen und erst in BW 2 umzustellen. Die Temperaturen sind aktuell bei ca. 18-19 Grad in der Nacht und 23-24 Grad am Tag. Die RLF liegt relativ konstant zwischen 43 und 50 %. Die Ladies sehen gesund aus. Für die aktive Zuluft ist es noch zu kalt. Der CO2 Gehalt ist aber auch so okay! Sorry für die schlechten Bilder unter dem Licht, nächste Woche wirds besser 😁

First day of week 6, I will be adding content as the week progresses, have a look at week 5 as that is now complete. Status: Candy Kush #1 d36 - Looking awesome, some pistils showing. Was too bushy so did some LST and slight defoliation today with supercrop on 1 branch. Candy Kush #2 d36 - Looks like nitrogen deficiency is sorted, now I have excess? :D see the clawing tips? Gonna stick with the current feed, hopefully she'll overcome otherwise I'll flush her once if things get worse. Bubble Kush d32 - Amazing, nothing to report, some tucking done Fastberry d32 - Looking as weird as ever, some tucking done Sugar Mama d36 - growing and getting really bushy, shame about the mess I did with the roots/stem but she is doing ok now. ---- Fed 2nd day of weeks 6 (day 37), 3ml biogrow 2ml calmag. pH was at 6.5 Ec was at 1.5. New leaves are really yellow in candy Kush 2, iron deficiency? Not sure what is happening, will be monitoring. ---- Day 38, Removed the yellow leaves and a little defoliation on all the plants ---- Day 39, Raised the shorter plants so they get some more lights. All of them have finished 35 days (5 weeks from seedling today) and are looking great. Feed the same, although they still look very bright, brighter than I am used to. ---- Day 41, Feeding time, started giving them bloom at 5ml/l and the other normal dosages as in diary. ---- Day 42, End of week 6 The girls are all looking great, there is is so much hair on the buds, haven't seen so much with outdoor grows. Exciting :D Sugar mama is way too bushy and not getting taller. The new blades are too thin, maybe I'm overfeeding her (only biogrow+calmag)? defoliated her, lots of fan leaves removes, she is asking for some training, I've ordered plant tie and will do some LST when delivered. Flowering coming along very well. THE BIG STRETCH has begun haha. All the plants stretching and getting ready for flowering is what I mean haha. Smell is super nice from the gorilla glue and the mold is decreasing rapidly. Used half milk and half ph solution along with many copper treatments to help cure the mold situation which came up from bringing an outdoor plant indoors, never so this!
