🌸 Week 3 Flower – Growing Strong, Tall, and Vibrant! 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! It’s already Week 3 in flower, and I’m thrilled to bring you this update because these plants are doing phenomenally well! Some are stretching up so tall that I might have to get creative in the coming weeks! Fruit production is well underway, and it’s absolutely amazing to watch the canopy fill out as these girls reach their potential. Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Hello again, GrowDiaries family! 😎 We’ve officially entered Week 10 (4th week of flowering) and the Critical is truly showing her full potential. This week has been all about environmental management and keeping the plant’s metabolism at its peak despite the winter chill. 📏 Precision Measurements & Training -Height: Steady at 37 cm. Vertical growth has stopped as she focuses all her energy on flower production. -Canopy Management: The LST has done a great job. The canopy is perfectly flat, ensuring that every "pompom" gets the same light intensity. -Visual Check: I’ve taken the plant out of the tent for some photos under white light to show the real progress of the trichomes without the LED distortion. 🌡️ Environment & Climate Challenges -Temperature: We’ve faced some tricky nights at 12°C, reaching 27°C during the day. -The Strategy: To prevent the plant from stalling due to the cold nights, I’ve started watering with lukewarm water. This keeps the root zone active and ensures nutrients are still being absorbed effectively. -Humidity (RH): Stable at 40-45%, ideal for keeping the developing buds safe and dry. 💧 Watering & Organic Pest Control -Nutrient Strategy: Still going strong with the full Biobizz schedule (Bio-Grow 1ml, Bio-Bloom 2ml, and Top-Max 1ml) in 1L of water. She is responding beautifully with no signs of overfeeding. -The Cinnamon Trick: 🛡️ I noticed some fungus gnats last week, so I applied a generous layer of ground cinnamon on the soil surface. It’s an old-school, 100% organic remedy that acts as a natural fungicide. Result: The gnats are completely gone! 🌿 Flower & Resin Evolution -The sugar has arrived! ❄️ Resin is now heavily coating the sugar leaves and the buds are thickening up fast. Looks a litle purple 💜

This is the 8th week. Thursday will be 9 weeks of 12/12. Some trichs are amber. They just added a good bunch of girth over the past few days, but most of the pistils are red now. The rest of them have been dropping leaves consistenly but the canopy remains full so they must be putting out more leaves. I just flushed to 80% runoff and found out that I had 1200ppm. I just got an ec meter but my last reading said closer to 600 so idk what happened there. I flushed until I had runoff ppm of about 150. Now they're back in the grow tent. I don't want to keep assaulting them with my microscope. I think they're ready. Just gonna let them settle another day or two to dry out a bit. I took one small branch off the small Wedding Cake plant on Thursday and I've just been watching it dry on my counter. It's been 5 days and the stem snaps but still leaves a fiber connecting. I put it into a small jar with a 64RH thing. I just want to try it. It already smells amazing. The leaves on the big CBD Blue Shark plant are going really yellow and some other colours are starting to come out as well. The buds all fattened up and got more frosty again. I was worried they were foxtailing but they got more calyxes underneath the peaks and have been making more of a pyramid shape. They're really close to peak. Harvest day will be March 17 or 18. March 17 1023pm chopped and hung after lights off all day. RH was 65% before I chopped and 50% after I closed the window and cut the plants off the saturated pots. I did a wet trim to prevent mold. The buds are sticky af. Gonna hang them to dry for 7-9 days before curing in jars :) March 18 : checked the RH when I woke up and it's chilling at 45% 😎 March 19 : just checked to see how they were drying. There are seeds in every plant. RIP I'll update when I put them in jars and again a few weeks later for final review. Overall it was a good grow despite the rocky start and a good introduction to the mainline technique and my new grow space. Next grow I should have everything pretty well dialed in. March 23 They were hanging for 3 days. Rh was around 45, then spiked to 65 overnight when I forgot to turn the fans back on. Temp was high at around 26.they felt wet after 2 days, and bone dry after 4 days. The stems still didn't snap but I put them in jars anyway. A day later, jar RH was 50%. I burped all the jars and there was a smell from the new jars. I took all the weed out, washed out the jars, and did a dry trim on the weed. One of the Wedding Cake plants must have gone hermie. I didn't see any bananas and didn't even realize there were seeds until the very end. The seed pods looked just like calyxes while the plants were growing. Many of the nugs are unusable. Under the sugar leaves are just layers and layers of seeds. Some weren't hit that badly. The CBD Blue Shark is much better off but still has some seeds. I'm trying to stay positive. It's a bit of a shock though. I'm anxious to try the finished product. If the flowers at least taste good and have a good effect, all is not lost.

This week the girls were covered in snow. I've never seen anything like it with my own eyes before, only in pictures :D Also, I didn't read the instructions carefully, and sprayed the buds, which caused their tips to turn a little black

Week 5 begins for LSD and Green Crack! The LSD ladies had the most yellowing over the last week, yet they have the most frost on the buds. The Green Crack ladies had a little bit of yellowing and has bigger buds, but no frost at this time. They all seem very happy in their new 4x8 home. Dommage car l autre pheno est juste magnifique avec des têtes énormes (c celle de droite ) et elle fini bien plus tôt que l autre.. bon c été à peut près tout j voulais juste mettre quelque souvenirs en plus de ces magnifiques ladys 😀

Cut the centre out of 2 of them, also defoliated them heavily as I'm switching to flower at the end of today. I will start feeding power buds from tomorrow as well.

11/04/2022 Getting in the 7th week of Veg for the Mimosa Evo and they look good. I removed the scrog net because it was not a good quality net but, it did actually do some work. I gave them a really good defoliation because they were very bushy and I removed a lot of stems that were going to be a waste of energy for the bud development when they will be flipped to flower. I gave them 4tbsp of worm casting and 4tbsp of Mykos. Now I will just give them water until they fully recover and see what else they will need. I will not flip until the auto's are done so that gives me time to train them a little more. The auto's are looking great and are packing up pretty good and the smell is amazing. You can feel that sweetness and fruity air once you open the tent. 😁 I gave them 4tbsp of worm castings, 4 tbsp of Mykos and a dose of Monster bloom PK 50-30 1ltr each plant. I cant wait for the end results on these auto's.

What can I say about this plant, it spent most of the day in the shade, if it had the same conditions as dos si dos, it would eat it for breakfast in terms of yield... 450 g of dry matter and some popcorn... I am very satisfied with but the plant didn't get nearly as much sun as it needs...it didn't fill up, but it wasn't empty either, the heads are nice and fleshy...when I picked it, it smelled like lemon or KeyLime as Barney says...but no on citrus, but really lemon combined with some heavy stench, I can't wait for this miracle to work for some time in the jar... Next year we will see it in its full glory, so let's try to get a one kilo and a half dry from it alone, that's a bit of a challenge for me...but with this kind of genetics and this kind of variety, I don't think it will be a problem in 100-150 liters of soil for this kind of monster... this year my plants were in 40 to 50 liters of soil and almost each of them produced from 450 to almost a kilogram of dry grass

My A/C has been not really working and it’s getting in the 90s outside not sure if it’s stunting it but have been trying to keep as much airflow as possible I have a fan below and above the canopy and the inline on 6-7 with no carbon filter or ducting right on top of the tent hoping it will be enough o keep the mold away

I was told this is a 1:1 CBD strain but feels more like a 2:1 Ok so this plant yelded large , thick and dense flowers that are completely covered in sugar , The flavour and smell is fantastic even without a cure , I've been using this in the vapourisor and the flavour is incredible , A very thick and heavy gas that does not make you cough at all , and for me it's a very heavy head high and then you get a very pleasant feeling in your lungs and chest , The effect is very relaxing and claiming , For me it's all you expect from cannabis without the head f*CK It's a really nice smoke indeed , Too the point that I think I will not be turning this plant into oils as in the decarbing temperature you need too choice ether the CBD or the thc at they both decarb at different temperatures CBD needing alot higher temp too activate than thc does , so you ether burn off the thc too get the CBD , so I think this will be my night time chillax smoke as it's real nice ,

Week went good some are further along then others but they all looking beautiful fan leaves starting to yellow and purple and such on some then others they just stretching still they won’t all finish at same time I don’t think but it’s ok

Day 50 to 56 Tuesday Day 50 Still on the half bloom from yesterday. Almost done stretch. Balanced the canopy. Lights are 12-14" from the lights at 450w which is ~700 umol. Seeing little rust spots. I think it's Cal def? Added magnifical up to 920ppm. D51: I believe I have been hitting too hard with nutes :) added water to res and back down to 720ppm. Got advice that I'm probably dealing with PK overdose and it adds up. D52 Problem is no longer progressing as quickly, however still some signs. D53 Res nearly empty. Added water down to 350ppm till empty. D54 Problem appears to be better but still feeding slow. 🤑. D55 Flushed the solo cup. Refed at 500ppm full bloom. Fed rest at 500ppm full bloom. D56 Another quick day at 500ppm and tomorrow I'll bump to 650ppm.
