Ghost Train Haze Week 6 from seed | 12/12 from seed Marked as: Week 1 Flower (pre-flower transition) Before jumping into current conditions, a quick recap for anyone new joining the diary. This Ghost Train has been through a bit of a transition phase over the past weeks. Earlier environmental fluctuations, combined with changes in nutrition and irrigation style (Autopots), slowed her down compared to the rest of the room. Nothing dramatic, but enough to leave visible signals on the older leaves. The good news: conditions are now much more stable, and the plant is clearly responding. ⸻ Current Environment (now stabilized) • Temperature: ~27.5 °C • Humidity: ~65% • CO₂: ~900 ppm • PPFD: • Smaller plants: ~600–700 • Taller plants: up to ~800–850 Light intensity is intentionally staggered. Plants are allowed to grow into the photons naturally, rather than being forced under a flat PPFD across the canopy. This helps accommodate different genetics and growth speeds in the same room. Despite cold weather outside, internal temperatures are now stable, which was one of the main goals this week. ⸻ Root Zone & Irrigation • Root / reservoir temperature: ~17 °C Slightly cold, acknowledged. This contributed to slower uptake earlier, especially in Autopots. Not ideal, but manageable, and already improving. • Watering parameters: • pH: 6.5 • EC: 2.4 ⸻ Nutrition — what changed and why This week marks a clear nutritional transition: • Switched from Plagron Terra Grow → Terra Bloom • Following the Plagron feeding schedule • This was the only intentional change Additionally: • CalMag Pro has now been added (started last week) About the leaf symptoms The older leaves show signs of undernutrition and stress. This is not a single-cause issue, but a combination of factors: • Cold root zone limiting uptake • Autopot system still running a lighter recipe • A sudden stop of organic inputs • A rapid switch to a fully mineral approach In short: the plant was used to one rhythm, and that rhythm changed fast. She didn’t like it — and she showed it. Important note for newer growers: 👉 These symptoms are on older leaves. They will not “repair,” but new growth is the real indicator, and that’s already improving. By increasing Terra Bloom, adding CalMag, and stabilizing the environment, the plant now has what she needs to push into flowering properly. ⸻ Flowering expectations This Ghost Train Haze is currently the most delayed plant in the room, and that’s okay. • Haze-dominant genetics often: • Take longer to transition • Stretch later • Flower later than hybrids She will likely be: • The last to fully enter flower • The last to finish That’s normal — and usually rewarded with excellent medicine in the end. WEEK 7 (Day42 - 48) The training has proven effective for all plants. I continuously defoliate them at the beginning of flowering. This strain has a very compact growth form, almost resembling a bonsai. Nevertheless, all the shoots are covered with dense flower pistils. I think this strain is ideal for small grow spaces. The current growth suggests a really strong, compressed flowering pattern, and I believe these plants will deliver solid performance in the coming weeks. As for the values, I have increased the VPD to 1.2 kPa and raised the light intensity to 650 PPFD.

The plant is doing really well. We are progressing at a normal pace. There isn't much else to report this week. These weeks are always slow and pretty boring. I'm just keeping the medium sufficiently watered. I have some more sticky traps set out, and I will not water for several days. Once it has dried the top soil, I will add some more Diatomaceous Earth to the top 5cm.
