Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

The grandaddy black is looking happy. Will be switching them to flower in a week or less. I gave them a flush and fresh nutrients. The humic acid really makes a huge difference in the uptake of nutrients. I am at about half dose on nutrients compared to what I would have to feed without it. Winter is approaching and bringing the low humidity with it. All of the humidifiers I have tried either dont work or I have to constantly refill the tank. So I decided to use my redneck engineering skills to throw this humidifier together. It holds 4 gallons of water and she pumps like a freight train. I have dubbed her the Steam Queen. I got 2 cool mist foggers that put out about 400ml per hour each and used some things I had around to make them a little float. Added an old computer fan to force the mist out through a 2 inch pipe. She won't win any beauty contests but she pumps out plenty of cool moist air. I also upgraded my exhaust to a variable speed for more added environmental control. Just going to do a little more training over the next week then try to make some buds.

I made some extract and made some edibles and added it to the diary! This diary may get a little unorthodox because they’re in the jungle down the centre line but will still document as much as I can and get close ups of the bud sites and buds as time goes on! Shouldn’t be too challenging but it’s a challenge lol it’s all doing great though! Better than I expected!

Starting to get close to lights. They love the boosters! Ill post week 3 in few days since this is behind. Took to immune booster and ball buster shmoe krebs cycle booster i made. Now need to give it some cytokinins keep stretch zero. Bubba diagonal is ahead of them all and kush mints barely started flowering probably gonna be a 9 weeker+

Definitely the best smelling stuff I've grown to date. The sweet fruity notes absolutely light up the tent every time I open it. And she's been a great candidate to learn my new phone's camera with. 8 week strain, so less than a month away! Definitely coming down before the others, that's for sure!

Day 35 is here and we are at the start of week 5 and as you can see this girl is in flower! She is crowning nicely and look super healthy.. This is starting 9th wk. Not going to flip unit wk 12. Hoping seedinds will get bigger. Autos showing sex, but no buding. I got 2 plants from fastbuds going. I think may some of the genetics are a Little old. Run them before my GG4 Isnt growing like the first one did. Just waiting. Any advice would be well appreciated.

Good little week, showing some signs of a PH swing in the medium will have to adjust the amount of PH down I add into the mix. I have not been monitoring the PH as it always seems to do just fine. But when I did it this time it was hitting 4.0-4.2 so its a big swing. To bad I only did this after the fact with the left overs. Next week will get no PH down. Flipped it to flower at the beginning of the week, doing 12/12 on 40% as I might be away for a bit and if my friend needs to take care of the plants I don't want them working about to much DLI. So its getting under fed in light a bit but that's ok. When I am back I can increase it or just leave it as is. Added in its first dose of Acadie See Weed extract 15ml/gal 0.6-0-6, its recommended dose is 5ml/L so 15ml/1gal is good, also added some more of the Fish Hydrolysate 2-4-0.5 about 7ml/gal, its recommended dose is 30ml/gal every 2-4 weeks so this works out well if I am feeding them weekly. The one THCv plant by GTR is not doing so hot, it has not grown at all and barley drank anything since last week so I am just leaving it alone and hopes it will bounce back. Everything else is getting nice and bushy. All the herbs are doing well, cat nip is growing in nice and bushy with the pinching, same with the basil. The dill and cilantro is getting leggy and likely going to chop them and use them in some cooking. got a fish dish that would be nice, turn em into tacos. Other then that I think that's it. O yea. The nutrients are all fucked up. It shows me some ml/l options but all the labels are gone so no idea whats happening, any questions just ask.

What do I have to tell you this time we are really competitive. The two Darks are spectacular, as I have repeated several times, one is worked with a topping that clones only the central part of the plant in a series of 16 buds. If, on the other hand, you decide to leave other lateral branches, it happens as in the second plant that the center weakens a little but two immense main colas are created. I prefer topping only with the main line but I'm not sure if it's the most productive. Although I did a little misfire with the photos this week, my partner abandoned me but I'm gearing up to shock you last week, don't sing too much victory for super growers and look at these girls well ... One more week up wee go , and dude are they going hehehe , i had some life to my room and im giving the stretch times but asap i will apply deep and hard defoliation with should be enough until almost the end of cycle. And defoliation day came and with it a second net to help support future buds, i was gona go harder on them but lol im happy with the new haircut lol Gave them a strong full feeding with it and had some conditioner to my soil to help braking death mater and also gave them nome nematodes to fight fungus nets larvas and help control the life on my soil. For now thats all im doing , i will keep monitoring this fungus net and springtails etc that came with the time of the year and with the fact that im growing fully mineral organic .
