I had to harvest my Blue Dream plant early due to some larger mold spots I found on the buds. To prevent the mold from spreading to my other plants, I acted quickly and made the cut. Unfortunately, this meant I couldn't give her a proper flush. Despite the abrupt end, the aroma of the buds is fantastic, and I'm optimistic about the taste. During trimming, the scissors became sticky with resin, which is a good sign of potency. I carefully harvested bud by bud to ensure I didn't miss any mold-affected areas. Unfortunately, the main bud had the worst mold spot, so I had to take it apart. It's puzzling since they were never outside during rain and only had to contend with morning dew. Overall, I'm pleased with this grow and feel humble. It was an incredible journey filled with challenges and triumphs. I'm looking forward to enjoying the fruits of my labor and learning from the experience. Thank you to all my growmies for following along and being part of this learning experience. Your support means a lot. Stay tuned to see how my remaining two trained ladies turn out. One love, one community. ❤️ Harvest Report: Blue Dream (Update 09.08.) After 9 days of drying, I brought the Blue Dream buds into my apartment for the final trim before jarring. The initial yield was 40 grams, but during my last inspection, I discovered more mold spots, this time buried deep within the buds. Unfortunately, all the larger colas were affected, forcing me to take the buds almost completely apart. In the end, I managed to salvage 21 grams of pure, healthy buds without any mildew. I also set aside 6 grams of “quarantine” buds, which I’ll dry separately. Sadly, I lost 13 grams to mildew—a tough blow, but one of the harsh realities of outdoor growing. It’s disheartening, especially since three other friends experienced similar losses this season. Honestly, I’m not sure what I could have done differently, aside from discarding the plant earlier. But even with these setbacks, if the cured buds taste as good as they smell, I’ll still consider this grow a success. The genetics from Fastbuds proved to be solid, and I recognize that the challenges I faced were largely due to environmental factors and my own decisions. This was a learning experience, and despite the issues, I'm happy with what I've achieved.

Week 11 From Seed | Week 6 Flower 🌸 (Sour Diesel) Quick Recap — How We Got Here This run has been 12/12 from seed—no veg, no safety net. And this Sour Diesel made that very clear from the beginning. Early stress slowed her down, and in this style of run, that time doesn’t come back. Just like an autoflower, every day counts—and she felt that. She stayed smaller than the rest. Lower water intake. Less stretch. But she never stopped pushing. She adapted, stabilized, and found her rhythm again. ⸻ Current State — Week 6 Flower Now she’s showing her true character. • Temps: 26°C • RH: 60% • EC: 2.0 • pH: 6.5 • Water intake: ~1.2L/day (14.5L soil) Not the biggest drinker—but steady and consistent. We performed a light defoliation, opening her up and preparing her structure for the weeks ahead. And she answered back: Compact, dense buds Noticeable frost building That classic Sour Diesel energy starting to come through Small frame—but real presence. ⸻ Observations • Tight stacking despite limited size • Strong resin production for her stage • Healthy recovery after early stress • Efficient metabolism relative to her size • Terpene profile already hinting through She didn’t win in size— but she’s absolutely delivering in quality. ⸻ The Real Talk This is what 12/12 from seed teaches you. There’s no time to recover mistakes early on. Every stress moment leaves a mark. And this Sour Diesel carries that story. But more importantly—she shows what recovery looks like. Not every plant needs to dominate the room to earn respect. Some earn it by fighting back and still finishing strong. ⸻ Looking Ahead — Week 7 Next week we expect: • Buds tightening further • Frost becoming more visible • Terpenes getting louder—true Diesel character coming out What not to expect: • No major size increase • No catching up to the larger plants And that’s perfectly fine. Now it’s about honoring her finish, not comparing her journey. ⸻ Gratitude 🤝 Big respect to everyone involved: • The genetics — Sour Diesel showing resilience and character • The gear — LEDs, tent, airflow, all working in harmony • The sponsors — for the continued support • The GrowDiaries platform — for letting us document the real journey And to the community: OGs, long-time followers, new supporters, Those showing love and those bringing questions— all of you are part of this. ⸻ Sour Diesel. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Flower Week 0 Day 0 to 6 - 3/18 to 3/24 Flip Week. I used Flip - Day 1(63) Schwazze extreme defoliation and plan to do it again on flip day 21. This seems to encourage growth of the buds while allowing more airflow and training space in my grows. In which I used HST of he center colas of P1 and the center branches on P2 Feed this week was again an auto pot reservoir feed at 600ppm total before add-ins. I used 450ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and 150ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and ph balance this week was for 5.8 where Io plan to maintain it until harvest. They should be mostly root feeding now and this should help with the uptake of nutes. Next week nutes will increase in Bloom mix again but also reduce in Veg mix. Feed will be 650ppm before add-ins with 5.8ph before feeding. Training of stretch will also happen next week.

STRAWBERRY PIE AUTOFLOWER SOLO CUP GROW WEEK 6 She's doing her thing still. Not really bothered by the lack of branching. Color is good. Bud spots are getting bigger.

Chopped down the large colas and threw the bottom buds in the freezer to be made into bubble hash this weekend. I will update more after drying. Update: 💨Puffed a couple joints and MY MY that is a tasty treat! Notes of 🍍pineapple and 🌺lavender. The high is very heady and spacey feeling yet pretty mellow compared to other sativas I enjoy. Insatiable munchies as well. You’ll be grazing all day long. Fantastic personal strain for recreational use outdoors.

Hello guys and welcome to week 9! Today my dehumidifier broke so I have to keep the tend open during the day. But for now everything is going smothely. The EC is pretty high at roughly 2.4. I will bring it down to 1.3 until the end of the week. I‘m ipressed how big the buds are getting even tho they aren‘t maturing yet. But I’m not familiar with this strain so we’ll see whats going to halpen. I hope I don‘t get mold issues later on so I‘ll keep a close eye on the humidity. Thanks for coming by and have nice rest of the day 🍀🤟🏼

WEEK 16 - (06/13/2021 - 06/19/2021) Week 8, Day 50 - FLOWER: 06/13/2021 After inspecting the trichome development for the last 7-10 days or so, I’ve decided that today would be the ideal time to begin flushing. The American Pie #1 does not look like it’s ready to begin flushing quite yet, as she appears to be about a week behind in maturity. Despite that, I’ll still begin flushing her today too. Recycled water: 70ppm, 69℉ + pH Up: 7ml Mixture: 95ppm, 6.4 pH, 69℉ ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 895/800, 6.1 pH AP#1 - 529/434, 6.5 pH AP#2 - 365/270, 6.7 pH GC#1 - 624/529, 6.3 pH -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 8, Day 51 - FLOWER: 06/14/2021 Did a trichome check on the plants today. Spent more time with the Jelly Banana to better determine her maturity level. She actually looks like she is ready to harvest today. I’d say trichomes are 75-80% milky, with an amber trichome here and there. I’m going to try and push her through at least one more low-ppm watering and test the runoff. If I start seeing more amber trichome development, I will cut her down. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 8, Day 54 - FLOWER: 06/17/2021 Recycled water (8 gallons): 69ppm, 5.8 pH, 70℉ + HydroGuard: 8ml + pH Up: 3ml Mixture: 82ppm, 6.0 pH, 70℉ ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 688/606, 6.5 pH GC#1 - 602/520, 6.5 pH AP#2 - 633/551, 6.9 pH AP#1 - 685/603, 6.5 pH -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [SUMMARY] I expect this to be my last full week of flower. All the girls are looking ripe for the chopping. The aroma that bursts out of the tent when I unzip it every time is heavenly. American Pie #1 is still about a week behind in maturity, but she will get cut down with the other plants regardless. Jelly Bananen started to turn a lime green color so she'll probably get chopped and hung up in the next few days when my second tent arrives (4x2 AC Infinity). That wraps up this week! See you ladies and gentleman in the next entry. 🙏

Growing strong I think I'm going to up the nutrition its receiving. It seem thirsty all the time I water her at least 4 time last week.

Watering has increased for this young one to grow and access readily available nutrients. I might be topping her as well considering how tight of a structure she has.
