Welcome to the beginning of week 7 for Karen. Thank you for stopping by! I'm counting this as the first week of flowering but she's been sending out pistils for two weeks, so I guess that weeks four and five should have been flowering weeks. Sorry about that. Surprised to be here but excited to see the next few weeks. Day 44: This girl is amazing. She took the horrendous start I gave her for the first three weeks, and just exploded. Look at her now! If you are really interested, now look at Misty and Nesia - imagine what they could do! I am really pleased with Karen here, I think she has more surprises in store. I am very glad I decided to LST or she would be towering above everything else in the tent. I have noted early Mg deficiency, as more advanced on Nesia. Correcting with foliar and re-addition of CalMag to feed. Day 44.5: Fertigated approx 1.5l. Defoliated approx 10 leaves. Slightly adjusted LST. Day 46: Fertigated 2l. Karen is very thirsty. Her roots have breached the side walls at the bottom of the pot in 360 degrees... this is the biggest root system I've had on any potted plant to date. She is stretching fast now, I think by the end of next week she will be done stretching. I must get a photo of her stem. The base is ridiculously thick. Overall Karen is shockingly good compared to expectations from the poor start. I can only imagine how big she would be. She is currently 27cm tall and at least 50cm in diameter. I count at least a dozen colas. Day 47. She is now 29cm tall and pistils are bursting forth at a phrenetic pace. I have added a comparison shot of my grow space for size reference. Day 47.5: Defoliated approx 30 fan leaves. Slightly adjusted LST. Rearranged tent and cleaned floor. I have ordered some risers to raise the pots off the floor, this will make it easier to deal with run off. While I was inspecting Karen I had a good look at her roots. The fabric pot she is in has viewing flaps (they were designed for potatoes) and I had a look... every bit of the pot is full of roots, and they're all properly pruned. I see no circulation or binding. If Karen produces at anywhere near the rate she is supposed to then she might yield as much as 150g. Day 48.5: Rapid changes. Pistils everywhere, more stretching. Karen is very thirsty. Fertigated. Added pot risers and adjusted pot. Did a little LST to separate some bunched colas a bit. Had a really good inspect of the root system. Wow this plant is a beast. Day 48.75: Fertigated 3l Day 49: Height 34cm Diameter: 60cm. End of week summary. Really big week, she is stretching quicker and quicker. Today she has developed a striking scent. I will now have to keep the tent closed so temps will rise. Day 49.5: Removed about 10 fan leaves. On reflection back over this week I think I needed to be taking a top and side photo, so I shall do that from next week.

good plants for hydro grows they dont stretch too much, buds need support because of the weight at the end. i run in a little calmag issue because i went overboard with the bloombooster around week 5. this caused a lockout top leaves got effected by this other then that i had a huge yield.

Day 78. Kushes were finally ready and all postponed work was done. Girls will breath better, all lolitoped personally, now two tall Zkittalicious took all 4th row and both Kushes are in 3rd now. Never did it so late in flower, took half of huge bin bag shoots, leaves and other crap away. Biggest branch trimming ever for me... Changed feeding a bit, they all look very hungry. Day 80. Plain water and girls are flying !!! Have very nice and super stacked Zkittalicious, looks like she will be my new love ;))) Happy Growing !!!

Plants are lovely and healthy still going through abit of stretch but can't complain nice and spaced out. Smell is quite fruity, absolutely no stress on them whatsoever. Even have all the lower leaves still green and lush. Started to add the seaweed tonic now at 3.5ml it's an amazing food for the plants and keeps them on top of critical needs whilst flowering. Buds have started to grow fast, the seaweed tonic is doing its job! An old but great food for cannabis.

Original Sensible seeds GIRL SCOUT COOKIES 8th Week Of Veg December 30th 2019 Firstly ignore the white residue on the leaves as it's only Diatomaceous Earth that I mixed in with the Worm casting and Mollasses tea that I brewed up and sprayed on all my Plants. I did it after dark to alleviate any stress from sunshine or heat. The Diatomaceous Earth should hopefully deter some of the insects that are taking the odd bite out of some of my plants leaves. I suspect grasshoppers are the culprit and I know that they do not like the DE. The Cookies plant is looking really healthy and as you can see from the above pics I topped her to make the plant bushier. Hello 👋🏻 Readers, Triplets had a trip out of the grow tent in the middle of the week due to a major power outage, until noon in the spare bedroom and then my bedroom (facing west)on the afternoon, with a 12°C temperature in the house, bet they got more purple 😂 Luckily the power was out only 25 hours. Other than that, all went fine this week. I checked the trichomes with my jewelry microscope, even tried my best to take pictures 😅 The base of the trichomes are so cute to see as they are purple and fading into the clear milky form( not showing on pictures) purpled all the way✊🏻😄 This week I started using the supplement Diablo Monster-K Which is the last supplement to be use on the end of flowering, as I started with the supplement Monster Flower, week 2 to 5 then Monster Blast, week 5 to 6 then Monster K, week 7 to 8 ( ya ya ya i also used the supplement BIG BUD week 2 to 4 just because why not? i had too i couldn't help myself😅 The endgame is soon to be! but only the trichomes will have the last word on it. and of course I gotta flush them so i need to pay close attention to the trichomes 🤨 Thanks for stopping by and taking time to check out my weekly diary updates. They suffered a little stress from trips attack and cold weather, but are recovering well. Did the LST today and foliar spray with EM5 (5ml/l)

Looking good so far, got a little bit of light burn at beginning of week but not to bad. Plants are really starting to shoot up now that the roots have hit the water. Topped all 4 at beginning of week 3 for LST prep. AC unit in tent is keeping it around 21 Celsius and water is keeping between 18-20 Celsius naturally so far. When the lights go up from 600w to 1000w though my tent will hit 25+ Celsius so I am currently testing a new water cooled thermoelectric peltier reservoir water cooler I built and I will be installing soon. So far testing it I can bring a 5gal bucket of water from 25 Celsius to 10 Celsius in about 6 hrs. So we will see what it can do with about 20gal of water in my set up once my lights get turned up. I will be posting pics/video once I get it all figured out. So far it’s way cheaper then a commercial water chiller and seems to work good.

29.08 Defoliated yesterday. They keep drinking more. Added undercanopy lighting to see the difference. Next time from the beginning.

Since high colas have already a good colour i thing to start flushing from next week to cut them in 14 days.
