🌸 Week 5 Flower – Gelonade Journey What a week! The Gelonade girls are now stepping fully into their flower form, and it’s breathtaking to witness. The evolution is clear: their structure is leaning beautifully toward the sativa side, with long, elegant branches reaching outward and bud formations stretching gracefully. Even though Gelonade carries a 60% sativa / 40% indica balance, the girls are clearly showcasing their sativa influence, airy yet strong, expressive, and absolutely stunning. ✨ Sativa Stretch & Structure The branching is art in motion, every node working like a painter’s brushstroke on a living canvas. The main colas are elongating, and even the funky pheno is showing its own charm in how the leaves and flowers express themselves. It’s one of those weeks where you just stand back and admire. ⚙️ Smart Growing with Sensors The WCS2 substrate sensor from TrolMaster has been invaluable this week. It constantly reads moisture, EC, and temperature directly from the soil, helping to decide exactly when to feed and when to hold back. Instead of guessing, we’re guided by real data, a powerful ally for keeping the roots in balance. 💧 Nutrient Recipe Update This week we reintroduced Aptus All-In-One Liquid at 1 ml per liter, complementing the standing mix of Aptus Regulator, CalMag Boost, and Plagron Power Buds, Sugar Royal, and Green Sensation. The reasoning is simple: as the flowers demand more, a little extra balanced nutrition ensures the canopy stays lush while the energy shifts toward bud production. 💡 Inner Canopy Lighting One of the biggest joys this run is the extra canopy lighting. The Future of Grow and ThinkGrow LEDs shine from above, but the added under-canopy strips are filling gaps and ensuring photons penetrate deeply. Instead of shadowy corners, the girls are glowing top to bottom, every leaf touched by light. 🌿 Recap & What’s Next From seed to now — germination, veg, stretch, and into this fifth week of flower — the Gelonades have shown resilience and individuality. Pheno #2, with her unicorn leaves, continues to amaze, while both are stacking into tall, elegant forms. For next week, we expect more density building, pistils shifting color, and the first whispers of resin glands sparkling under the LEDs. The journey forward promises more fragrance, more structure, and more beauty still to come. 💚 Closing Thought This week, the Gelonades remind us of the elegance of balance, between sativa and indica, between stretch and strength, between data and instinct. Every leaf, every branch, every bud is a note in a song that is only just beginning to play. May the branches stretch without fear, may the buds swell with light, and may each day bring us closer to the harvest of dreams. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic.

This week was mainly about making sure there are no leaks in the RDWC system. I germinated the seeds straight in to the easy plugs and placed them in the the net pots surrounded by clay pebbles. The Fastbuds genetics did the rest and came through with a 100% germination rate. I will leave them running on clean water for the next couple of days. I will be making sure to monitor ph balances closely. In regards to oxygen for the roots I constructed a waterfall system with added air stones from my air pumps to cater for healthy root development and sufficient oxygen. Even though I have a lot of light in there, I have them all dimmed down to their lowest percentage.

Hello everyone 😎 Week 5 of flower for the Tropi🌴🍪 The top buds are ready✂️ Harvest in 2-3 times… Amazing buds solid as a diamond 💎 It’s not easy to get this result with an autoflower. Exactly what I’m looking for and this is why I love so much Fast Buds🤩 And when you get this result the trim is easier😁

She is a beast at the end of week 5 (day 35). LST Goal: Create an even FLAT Canopy with out the use of Scrog nets or stakes. This is achieved by tying down all the branches evenly, so that every top gets the same amount of exposure to light, air and nutrients.

The Bruce Banner girls went wild this week! 💪 At the start of the week, all three were sitting on IFCO crates to even out the canopy, but #2 stretched so much that she had to be moved down to the floor. She’s officially the tallest now and really taking off.🚀 #1 started stretching more as well and keeps growing strong, while #3 is still a bit smaller but catching up nicely.🌿 All three look healthy and vibrant — deep green color, no signs of stress or deficiencies.💚 They got a light defoliation this week, just removing a few big fan leaves that were shading lower budsites.🍃 A proper defoliation will come once the stretch phase is over. Environment: Temp: 25–26 °C RH: 55–60 % PPFD: around 900–1000 µmol/m²/s under the Spider Farmer SE5000 Controlled by the AC Infinity AI system 🌡️ They’re drinking a lot #1 still the thirstiest one, taking about 4 L every 2 days, while #2 and #3 get the same amount roughly every 3 days.💧 Overall, they’re stretching beautifully, stacking up nicely, and looking more impressive each day. Can’t wait to see them finish the stretch and start focusing on those buds.✨🔥

2/21/2023 - Day 50: Starting pre-bloom this week. Changed the light from 18/6 to 16/8. Also, started adding my bloom nutrients. Watered about 3.5 gallons and threw a little bit of everything in today. Started with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja as a wetting agent, then added Rootwise Micro Complete, Enzyme Elixer, and Bio-Phos, BuildASoil Big 6, BuildABloom, Coconut Powder, Pure Protein Dry, Yah-Whey, Fermented Comfrey and Fermented Peach. Also top dressed with some BuildAFlower. 2/23/2023 - Day 52: not much to report. Plants are doing great, and seem to like the slightly cooler temps lately. Mainly just been tucking branches under the scrog screen and doing some super cropping in an attempt to keep my canopy even. 2/24/2023 - Day 53: gave the plants their weekly IPM, with a foliar spray at lights out of warm distilled water and BuildASoil EM-5. This is also to clean the leaves in preparation for the flip to flower next week. 2/26/2023 - Day 55: last day of veg. Officially flipping to flower tomorrow. The scrog screen is pretty full, other than the Frozen White Runtz, which is barely reaching the screen. Hoping it will catch up more during stretch. Also, plan to put a second layer of trellis on.

This week I made a special video tour of the grow room, hope you like it. This Gorilla is feeling great! She’s spent this week fattening up lower colas. These colas are even frostier than bigger ones. I didn’t get them so frosty on my last growth. I still have to give her Overdrive since the soil is still wet, but will do it in a few days. See you next week 🐵

It's harvest week for Pineapple, Skunk, and little Gorilla Strawberry, which I put in the room together for two days of darkness before harvesting. Cheese is getting heavier and heavier due to its stem, and unfortunately one flower has broken, but luckily it won't be long for her either. Bubblegum has been a wonderful surprise given how it started, and it too is a little monster. I'm really proud of my girls!

We have made it to day 42! 31/12/20 All the girls have started flowering now! I'm super keen to see them start to thicken up. Feeding as usual, nothings changed. Update - day 46 04/01/21 I'm a little concerned about the 2 runts that were laggin behind the rest, all of a sudden theyve decided they want to take up most of the room in the tent. I've never grown autos so big.. I was contemplating putting the runts outside but it's just going to make more problems as my outdoors are under attack from some kind of bug. I will keep the diary updated on the runts, other than that the other girls are doing just great, flowering is really coming along. Thanks for stopping by!
