Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. 14/09/2021 Hello everyone, welcome to the third week of life of the so dreamed Dark Phoenix of Green House Seeds Co. I'm very surprised with the development of one of the plants, it grew a lot in the last week getting an excellent performance in my opinion. I would like to know your opinion. Leave comments please. Speaking of cultivation I keep keeping the temperature around 25°C to 26°C I raised the EC value to 1.0 ms.

The breeder says day 45 is the day for harvesting.. when I reached that day I started looking closely the trichomes to see when best day to harvest.. usually I wait till more less 10%amber.. however I found a bud rot in one of the other plant on my tent so I decided to chop it down on same day afraid of spreading it to Apple blossom. If that had not happened I would wait maybe 2-3 days more.

This plant was an absolute joy to trim. This plant consisted of buds and stems only, so I am actually curious what the dry weight will be.

Week 7 begins for GG4! She's a very hungry girl, the extra 1 liter of feed midway through the week really helped with her growth and reduced the stress from the heat. She's sticky, most sticky of all 4 plants now, with a distinct smell. August 1 - added close up pictures.

05/07/2020 definitely another week, #9 flower I think she be done end of week 9. The trichomes are mostly clear, some milky no amber, but I only want 5-10% amber at most anyway as I want daytime meds. Leaves are fading fast will get some better pics soon, one more watering of 2, liters plain water and we are done see you in 7days for the (harvest?)hope and pray! Ps. I do this because breeder says 9-12 weeks but breeder didn't specify 9-12 TOTAL / Or weeks or flowering weeks so I harvested 47 grams wet, at 13 weeks TOTAL, the rest will Be at my peak harvest date which is approximately week 9-10 of flowering. So it's within reason I would say.👍 Pss. The 47 grams wet weight is now at 13.9 grams, (dry weight) after 10 days drying and into the glass jar for burping and curing process . Four days into week (9 of flowering) i brought out my 420 scope still lots of clear trichomes, maybe a 10-11week flowering? Probably my lights need upgrade. See you in 4 days

for me growing this strain was easy but i took little bit more time for finishing, and because of it i got mold in some buds. (exactly there was only 3 buds damaged)

Hey growmies! My buds grow well, i found some pollen balls and immediately remove them, I guess the reason is temp fluctuations at night. But everything goes fine, the plants hungry for sulfur and this is normal for flowering.

Actual date Feb 10th They're looking good No nutrient burnt so far 24/0 Schedule Watering every 2 days but continue to spray on them like 2 liters everyday to increase humidity lvl to optimal condition Temp is OK Wish it was better but have to repair A/C Anyways bout the girl This gorilla girl XL is slow but developing good, taking her time to grow while it's fully LST, she's redirecting her energy to the other stems and leaves plus main trunk and slowly continues to grow its main stem We're already on 1900PPM We've been giving nutes from the very beginning plus bloom to make sure she gets loaded, but certainly lil bit not to mess up too much with her so we already on 1300ppm bloom stuff 😏 Want to get big yield let's see if we as much as we want

This bean is during me CRAZY 🤣🤣🤣 I had some slow growth with my RuntZ, but they are on the go. This strain —- I gotta get the conditions right for it. It seems to prefer less water and more heat?? I am not flowering this strain until I can take 5-6 Clone’s off of it. It’s been feed SST, LABS, bacteria, fungi, rain dances. Just isn’t responding like I assumed, but I am taking responsibility for the issues, NOT the cultivar. 11-3 And……we are back in the game!!! The inputs began showing the effectiveness. Leaves are larger, no stretching. The bean just took a second to “kick” in gear with some added help. This is going to be a very long VEG…we are talking 4-5 months before I flower this. I want multiple clones off this strain so my summer grow outdoor is going to be SICK ( 6 ft tall ladies).

This plant was germinated along side three other strains , it stayed short and compact ,it was very leafy and compact . If I was to grow it again I would spread and thin out the canopy and defoliate more heavily . This strain was in a10 litre pot and produced 90g of dried trimmed bud . It was a low producer but the flower is really nice , a very enjoyable evening flower through a volcano vaporizer.
