Another week and another update in this adventure! :D So far I think things have been going well with Puff, the buds are getting fatter (or that's what I think!) and every day she's getting more and more "frosty" and smelly! 👽 Not everything was great this week tho, I think my plant is going thru something and I'm not quite sure what's the cause. I check/adjust the pH and I try to use water with low ppm... so my only option is that I underfed her when she was growing (or maybe what's happening is just normal and I'm overreacting) and these are the results! She's looking lovely this week!!!!! Starting to get frosty. Still a while to go but her pistils have 'just' started changing colour.

Day 22. This girl is a bit sensitive to Nitrogen, but getting better and better as all others too... Great light no doubts! Mars TS1000 and daily rotation around axe, plus changing positions every 2 days - helps a lot with even development. Girls are on pure water, maybe next week ill start some training. Set up a second trellis net to help support the fatter tops that have gone far beyond the first trellis. Added a second 6 inch clip fan to help with air flow. One side of the tent had higher humidity but now with more air flow its solved the issue.

Solo cup challenge continues to press along. Not much change, plants are in veg, growing and healthy. Still a few weeks before the flowers start so I hope to get a bit of size going before it does. 2nd time growing this strain. Was the best of the bunch last harvest under a cheap 300W LED drawing ~100W from the wall yet still gave me over 4oz Hoping under this brand new Spider Farmer SF-4000 I'll get much more. Just fed plain water in week 1.

The little to the biggest. It's still growing I think my 2x2 is going to be to small for it. Other then that it healthy feeds like a mf I water it at least 3 time last week.

Flushing and cutting out some leaves. Smaller plant will probably be cut down in a few days & wil let taller go a couple extra. Love the smell on these girls definitely will run again. Goodluck everyone and happy growing 🌴

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Bffff familia, esta cepa me tiene atónito zambezaseeds a vuelto hacer de las suyas y lograron una variedad con una floración bastante rápida, y unos cogollos bastante compactos, formación indica en el aspecto de las hojas y su morfología. Controlamos los parámetros por encima de 20 grados y por debajo de 27,5 grados y no dejamos subir la humedad por encima de 45%. Contando por supuesto con un sistema anti olores no solo en la extracción si no trabajando con ozono en la puerta de salida se la habitación.

FBTF was amazing. I tested topping with this plant, and while I do think that topping and root issues were the reason this plant did not grow so big. However, I did harvest dense colas that were all even in size and equally dense with loads of orange hairs everywhere, I am definitely growing again next grow.

had to harvest a bit early as it looks like it turned hermy on me .... hope the clones dont do the same update- Turns out I harvested a little early for nothing but it's not a huge deal seeing as it was in flush anyway. Update- today is Sunday it's been 3 days in the drying period and I came to the conclusion at the buds had so much resin on them that if I did not remove the leaves it would be exceedingly difficult to do so in a couple days I'm not sure what the updated weight would be update - here we have it ladies and gentlemen finish the Harvest putting them into cure now I pulled a tiny butt off and had a small hit and I must say it feels nice and a very little bit got me quite High. I'd say the high feels more in the frontal cortex of my mind

Day 47 -55 On Day 46 i switched to 12/12. now they are stretching. This strain stretches very very much. Probably more than double so be careful! U will be able to see the stretch within the next posts. :) I use 3g/soil now and then 1g/soil at week 2 of bloom! At the start of bloom i still put the brenches into the pieces of the net so i maximize the light penetration throughout the bloom part. In a few days i ll stop LST because the brenches start getting hard.

Started germination April 3rd, 2022. Soaked for 4 hours in Distilled Water. All 5 sank. Prepared small pots and potted for their first 2-4 weeks before transplanting to their final pot. RH @ about 65%, also have domes on pots to trap more moisture and humidity. Light @ 34 inches. **update 4/5 germinated perfectly and popped up Tuesday night (48 hours). 1 came up with tap roots out of both ends of the seed, re situated and it popped the leaves out, but I’m not sure if she will make it.
