White Widow – Week 3 Flower | 12-12 From Seed 🌸❄️ Cycle: 12/12 (sometimes 11/13) from seed Stage: Flowering – Week 3 Feeding: Aptus + Plagron + All-in-One Liquid ⸻ Full Flower Mode Our White Widow has fully embraced her flowering stage. This week marks her third week in flower, and she’s already showing beautiful bud formation from top to bottom. Despite her compact size, she’s filling in evenly and with excellent structure. What really stands out is the early frost. Resin glands are already visible, sparkling under the light. For such a modest-sized plant, her energy is clearly going into dense flowers and resin production, not stretch. She’s showing her true White Widow heritage, compact, resin-heavy, and vigorous. ⸻ Nutritional Strategy This week, her feeding remains consistent with the established recipe: • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml/L • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml/L • Plagron Power Buds, Sugar Royal, Green Sensation – 1 ml/L each But we’ve added something new: • All-in-One Liquid 🌱 This addition is meant to give her a balanced nutrient push during this critical phase. By Week 3, plants are transitioning from bud set into flower bulking, and the All-in-One helps provide extra micronutrients and macros that might not be fully covered by the base mix. The goal is to give her everything she needs for flower development, without overloading her. We’ll be watching closely to see how she reacts, but so far, she’s thriving. ⸻ What’s Happening Now At this stage, we see: • Bud stacking beginning across multiple sites. • Resin production kicking in early, with noticeable frost. • Minimal stretch, as she stays compact and focuses on density. • Healthy leaf expression, still a deep, vibrant green. This week is often called the “foundation of flower.” The plant sets the stage now for how heavy, dense, and resinous the later weeks will be. If nutrition and environment stay on track, we can expect these bud sites to start bulking steadily over the next 2–3 weeks. ⸻ What to Expect (and What Not To) ✅ Expect: • Rapid increase in bud density. • More trichome development, the frost we see now is just the beginning. • Aroma starting to intensify as terpenes begin expressing. ❌ Don’t expect: • Major vertical growth, her stretch is over, and she’ll remain compact. • Early harvest, White Widow typically flowers for at least 8–10 weeks. ⸻ Educational Note – Why Early Frost Matters Trichome production this early is a good indicator of plant health and genetic quality. Resin glands serve as protection for the plant against heat, light, and pests, so seeing frost at Week 3 tells us she’s thriving under the current conditions and that her genetics are naturally resin-heavy. For growers, this means a higher chance of strong aroma, flavor, and potency later on. ⸻ A Quick Recap of the Journey • Germination: Not an easy start — mistakes were made, but this White Widow was the survivor. • Veg: Compact growth under 12/12 from seed, slower to show flowers, but structurally beautiful. • Flowering: Took her time to enter full flower mode, but now she’s moving fast and strong. She’s the perfect example of how patience, careful nutrition, and trust in the genetics pays off. ⸻ Shoutouts & Gratitude 🙏 🌱 Zamnesia – for the legendary White Widow genetics 💧 Aptus Holland – for reliable, precision nutrition 🌸 Plagron – for flower enhancers that push her into full bloom 💡 ThinkGrow & Future of Grow – for the light power and spectrum balance 🧠 TrolMaster – for stable and adaptive control of the grow environment And most of all — thank you to everyone following along this diary. Your time, support, and interest in this journey mean everything. This isn’t just a grow log, it’s a story we’re writing together. ⸻ 📸 This week’s gallery includes: • Close-ups of bud development and trichomes ❄️ • Studio shots highlighting her compact beauty • Room updates with environmental stability Next Week Goals & Forecast 🔮 As we move into Week 4 of flower, here’s what we’ll be watching for: • Bud Bulking – Flowers should begin to thicken, with calyxes swelling and pistils multiplying. • Resin Expansion – Expect a noticeable increase in trichome coverage, making her sparkle even more under the lights. • Aroma Kickoff – White Widow is famous for her pungent, earthy-spicy scent. We should start catching stronger whiffs this week. • Nutritional Balance Check – With All-in-One Liquid added, we’ll be observing closely for any signs of overfeeding or lockout, though so far she’s responding beautifully. • Environmental Consistency – The new AC unit is stabilizing temps and humidity — a perfect setup for flower development. Holding VPD steady will be key. ❌ What we don’t expect yet: • No real ripening signs (amber trichomes or fading leaves) — it’s still too early. • No heavy weight yet — the bulking comes between Weeks 4–7. This next stage is often described as the “early swell” phase. It’s where flowers go from just “forming” into recognizable buds with weight, density, and stickiness. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. 48 hrs. of dark are up and its time to chop. pots have dried from the last flush. These did not stretch as much as I would have liked I will have to adjust my light better next time and there was a lot of lower development near the media, hence not enough air flow. when I flushed the pots the water level went up to the lower growth on the Think different and the bottom was wet and rotted the bottom half. I did a mild lollypop on them I'm early flower it just was not enough, LESSON LEARNED. Chopped on 2/8/20 whole plant drying low and slow 54% RH 68F for 10-14 days then will trim and jar. 981 grams wet with the lumber. lets see how they dry. I got a rosin press coming today I will squeeze all the trim and larffy buds into dabs yummy! All in all I recommend these genetics I will try the think different again I'm sure I just got a recessive dwarf gene. I have seen other grows of this same strain same breeder that are huge and stacked. thanks again to Fast Buds 420 and Green Buzz Nutrients for suppling the goods for the grow. Stay tuned for the harvest pics and vids along with the rosin squish. Be cool to one another we could really use it these days.👏 please fell free to comment on the grow as this is my first true auto flower grow. If any one out there is experienced with rosin pressing and you have any tips for beginner's let me know I will incorporate them in the next videos. thanks

Over all growth was outstanding on this plant. Huge props to Mephisto on a wonderful strain. Caked in frost. Super stinky! I had to pop more seeds of this strain of course! Terps exploding, even the lower larf is dense with superb resin production

Germination date 🌰 26/01/2021 Day 49 🌱 20/03/2021 Strain 🍁 🍉Watermelon zkittlez auto Barneys farm 🍉 Nutrients 💉 All mix slow release fertilizer 3lts/90lts of soil (guanokalong) Organic Wormcastings 25% of bag and added small amount slow release organic bloom to soil. Will top, top soil up in 3weeks 5weeks 7weeks as they say they're 70day auto. Will be adding in bat guano and bloom to water 5weeks on Set Up ⛺ amazon special not super cheap 💡 spiderfarmer sf4000 📤📥 AC infinity 6inch Notes ✏️🗒️ Will take some more pictures later and update.. Coco plants are taking up all my time at the minute so lucky these autos are packed with dry amendments and keeping themselves going. Considering there not getting much attention this strain is so frosty and it stinks. I know if I put my full attention into these they would be mega frosty. Other 2 are behind and will most probably end up outside as I dont want to super veg the photo periods 1st time round. Purple matcha is growing like a beast and looks like it's going to hog a lot of room come flower. Definitely making things harder with doing photos and autos together, wont be doing that again unless I extend my grow space in the future. Pk week for the bigger one. Happy growing everyone 🌱🍁 Updated some pics, let me know what you all think. Spider farmer 4000 is proving to be a very good purchase and no I didnt pay the stupid amazon price 😂 Managed to get for under £400 on black friday last year direct so if your thinking of getting one go direct to spiderfarmer 👍🏻 Vitalink buddy and pk doings its job nicely. Girls are packing on some weight 🍁👍🏻

SPREADSHEET: Jack's vs. Advanced: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1HtHnZOxMHtBK5DFQjpBun2lbhDxYVhI7lJaq4W6xbyk/edit?usp=sharing 9/26 - Day 35: Slight light burn - nothing major at all. Moved lights and used "Korona" a light PPFD app, and placed everything a little better. 9/28 - Day 37: All is good, the little shits are growing like crazy. Also, my first time using trellis netting and it's amazing. It's LST without the wires and I can do kind-of a ScRoG (not a literal one) by having the stems grow out horizontally for a period of time. Really cool!

I can't remember exactly when I started this seed but I believe we're around week 7/8 of veg. I didn't really take good care of this plant until now (as well as the Red Dragon in another diary). But today is transplanting day and from now on I will dedicate more time and care to those two little ones. The thing is that the greenhouse is busy right now with plants flowering and a blackout cover 12h a day, so I have to take this NLX and the Red Dragon out of the greenhouse every night so that they get more than 12h per day. In about a month they will have the greenhouse for themselves. Anyways, for now: transplanting! I posted a video and more details on my medium mix on my Red Dragon diary. I will post pictures here when the plant has been transplanted from a 2 gallon plastic pot to a 15 gallon cloth pot. Cheers!

8/4: I decided that instead of taking them outdoors to the "solar surface bugstorm," I'm just gonna grow them and a few autos that popped when I was testing my new cloners as a seed germinator indoors in the closet. So...I went ahead and ordered a new carbon filter, set the timers and flipped them to 12/12. I'll continue to take the auto seedlings out for 24 hours of light for a while. I'm really digging the TPS ONE...makes life easy for an old stoner like me. I no longer have to remember whether I fed the last time or just watered...with this stuff, it's the same feed with every watering. 8/8: Preflowers on the more indica looking plants...all 4 of them..pretty sure they are the #10's, and preflowers on a couple of the other ones too.
