Unfortunately what we never want to happen has happened with my baby.. bud rot.. on day 98 of cycle I found 1 bud with bud rot, cut it off, checked the plant and could not find more.. flushed the plant and wait next day to see how it goes. After 2 days main bud was identified with bud rot too.. so sad.. probably due high humidity in my environment + colder weather we are starting to have.. so on day 101 harvest it.. could go few more days to get more amber trichomes but decided to harvest it to avoid lose more buds .. I will keep watching it to see if no spread when drying :(

Getting my supports into place and then will flip this coming week. Mites seem under control, still using soap spray and systemic spinosad in watering. The two middle most plants are Ice Bomb. I have not been feeling well so I have not pulled them all out for photos this week.

How the time has flown by. She completes her flush this week and will start her dry, Sticky, smelly and buds are thick. Extremely happy with how she handled these last few weeks! Excited to taste her.

Buds starting to link up nicely, no issues apart from ph seems to be creeping down in between feeds so dropped ec a touch and raised ph by a point.

(11/11-11/17) ***All feeds with nutes use either a whole ratio or combination of "Veg Mix" and "Bloom Mix"concentrates DILUTED in water until a total ppm of add-in is reached using a (Total Dissolved Solids) TDS Meter measured in PPM (parts per million). The "Veg Mix" concentrate will eventually be added in smaller ratios and "Bloom Mix" concentrate will eventually replace the "Veg Mix" concentrate entirely. The ppm and ratios of each feed will be listed when I feed. Veg mix recipe is on week 2. Bloom Mix recipe will be noted in this top message of the week that I make it.*** Week 1 Notes & Observations: Both plants are coming along pretty good. No concerns rolling into week 2, I will be starting nute supplements in the diet this week but plan to add them slowly to the regular routine. Day 18, WOW what a difference the feed made with Plant 1!? She was a good inch behind plant 2 at the start of the week and today she 'looked' bigger, so I measured, 2 days after the deep nute feed, and now she's an inch taller than plant 2.😮 VPD this week will reduce the humidity in the tent to about 70-75% and temps will be monitored for 75- 78F daytime and 68-70F overnight. Lights should adjusted to provide 300 max, but will try to hold the 280 setting as long as I can this week. Meaning no increase over last week other than growth. Feed & Monitor: Day 16 (last feed was day 11) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Starting weight from each pot was 18 lbs and 8 oz, P1 weighed 15lbs 9oz and P2 was 15lbs 15oz before feed. Each plant got 1 gallon of purified water with 75ppm Veg Mix (recipe above and makes 1 gallon at about 3600 to 4000ppm concentrate to dilute each feed, i.e. I only fed 75ppm above the purified water ppm this feed) The ph on this feed was balanced to 5.75ph to combat the higher runoff ph from the last feed. P1 weighed 21lbs even and P2 weighed 21lbs 5oz after feed. I got about 5 cups of runoff on P1 and 6 cups on P2. Top soil tested at: P1 (6.37, 6.37, 6.37, 6.32) avg 6.357 and P2 (6.55, 6.61, 6.52, 6.42) avg 6.525 - Runoff for P1 ph was 6.29 with 1530ppm and P2 was 6.29 with 1580ppm. 📆 Week 12, 7-12 July 2024 Harvest 8 July - Turned light power down to 25%. Changed nutrient solution to RO water to begin flush. 11 July - Harvest 12 July - Begin curing time. 📑 Harvest time! She is ripe, danky, sticky, full of resin, solid, and I am pleasently suprised at the yield. This is not your ordinary Auto Afghan variety. She produces heavy buds and a lot of them. This is also the first auto I have grown using DWC in 12 weeks without manipulation - 18 hours straight from start to finish. I pushed her to the limit. Now she will hang in the closet at 50-55% RH and 70 degrees F, for about 7-10 days curing. Then she will trimmed and put into one quart glass mason jars, with 62% Boveda TurpShield and burped until 62% RH is maintained. The full potency potential and terp profile will be reached in about 30-45 days. 📆 19 July 2024 The Smoq Report: After 7 days of hanging, she was ready to cut. I trim and shape each individual bud, removing unwanted leaf and stem. It’s a process but worth it if you smoke bud. Her potency is evident. It will take the experienced smoker to a satisfying high and keep you there for a good hour or more before you want another hit. The smell and taste is of a typical Afghan. I was expecting a heavier yield, but in the end I guess we all hope for a little more! Maybe next grow! 🍶 Nutrient solution changed to RO water 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🔆 Light power at 25%, DLI 20 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this grow. Week 3-4 Got plenty of rain over the weekend so I'm sure I won't have to water for a few days. The plants have a nice natural canopy of trees above the greenhouse and we decided to take the roof part of the greenhouse off so the plants can breathe and get adequate air flow. I have the fans blowing on them to keep air circulating to strengthen the stem and to keep pests from landing. The sun makes the plants look yellow in the video, they are not yellow anywhere just to be clear. They seem to be doing great but this is my first rodeo and my sister who has experience seems to think they are coming along nicely and should do just fine. Let's hope so 🤞

Week starting 4/10/2019 Spotted a few aphids today on some of the yellowing leaves - confirmed with the magnifying glass. Humidity continues to be an issue as I cannot seem to lower it below 60% at best, averaging 65%. The extraction currently is pulling the air from the tent into the room - will need to look into taking it outside of the house before looking at dehumidifiers. White powdery mildew is more prevalent on some of the tops. Manually wiping them off with a wet cloth each day. 05/10 - Applied nematodes today to all 4 pots (https://www.biogroei.fr/stenema). Had to apply it with water at pH6.5 08/10 - Watered all 4 plants to keep the soil moist for the nematodes. #1 08/10 - Watered at pH6.3 at 17 deg 10/10 - Feed of Vega at pH6.4 at 19.8 deg, EC 1.84 - still seems stunted during flowering and behind the others of same strain by a week or two. #2 08/10 - Watered at pH6.3 at 17 deg 10/10 - Feed of Vega at pH6.4 at 19.8 deg, EC 1.84 (pot was not dry yet, should have waited another day or two with feeding) - colas are still developing nicely whilst continuing with the leaf loss. - defoliated and cut all small branches with flowers at the bottom. #3 08/10 - Watered at pH6.3 at 17 deg 10/10 - Feed of Vega at pH6.4 at 19.8 deg, EC 1.84 (pot was not dry yet, should have waited another day or two with feeding) - a few curled/twisted leaves. Continues to need the most frequent watering - most probably due to the limited 7L pot. #4 08/10 - Watered at pH6.3 at 17 deg - is not drinking a lot of water compared to the other 3 G13 Haze strains. - getting close to harvest time, still not showing big signs of nutrient deficiencies or other issues. Some purple leaves at the very top of the main cola.

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. My little topped solo cup grow is coming along amazing! This i49 blueberry is looking super healthy! I did introduce nutes this week, during week 4 from seed. Very light. Mild veg nutes. She's took it just a touch rough, but bounced back fast! She's filling our super clean and looking great! Expecting to see the first signs of flower in the coming week! Fed 5ml per gallon of each grow, micro, and bloom nutes by general hydro. Flora trio. Happy growing!
