Week 9 (3/14/22 - 3/20/22)

25-2: Throughout the week, I'm observing two phenomena simultaneously: a portion of the upper leaves turning a lighter green and/or appearing to have a yellowish hue. One plant has curled leaves at the top of the plant but limited to one layer of leaves. The tips are yellowed with dark spots. Due to rapid growth, the plant flew too close to the sun and burned its wings, was my assessment. In other words, light burn. The leaves becoming lighter are located in several layers from the top to halfway down the plant. I suspect there is a deficiency and perform a slurry test. The EC is low at 0.24 and the pH is good at 6.3. The soil is still too wet to feed, which presents a dilemma: feed with the risk of wet feet or wait a bit longer with the risk that the deficiencies become more severe? To mitigate this, I gave foliar feeding (Terra Bloom 0.5 ml per liter) by spraying the leaves without really wetting them. I did this just after the lights were out. A day later, I first flushed the plants with a few liters of water pH 6.4 and then gave them nutrients with EC 1.3 and pH 6.4: Terra Bloom (+/- 4 ml per liter), Sugar Royal (1 ml per liter), and a tiny bit of Great White and orthosilicic acid. And hung the lights back at 30 cm. It seems to be working because I see the color coming back slightly and the yellowing has at least stopped. Furthermore, I'm keeping the day and night temperature a bit higher at about 25 degrees Celsius during the day and around 21 at night. This is to limit the humidity at night and during the day to increase the VPD to about 1.45. At the end of the week I see the end of the stretch and standing 87 cm tall at average. A lot of rain and wind, continuously. Temps have dropped as well. I’m reading another week or two to chop this plants. Sativa dominant hybrids did the best, the Fastberry and the banana purple punch did not really develop as the other two. In specifics the cbd crack developed sizable buds, and the blue dream as well, the flowers are not as developed tight and dense as in the indoor grow. A bit of fox-tailing nothing too expressive. Minimal work, as per the setup chosen, an no extra nutes this week.

La verdad no podía frenar el amarillento o esas carencias ... Controlaba ph y suficiente... Ahora empezaremos a medir ec y ph para poder tener mejor electro conductividady tener mejor absorción de nutrientes ya que medimos macetas después del riego y tenemos una ec de 4.5 a 3.5 la cual deberia estar en otros parámetros por ende ... Siempre tuvimos alimentos suficientes para ellas solo que no teniamos la implementación necesaria... Después de la 11 a 12 cortamos y subimos el final de esta planta que luchó con todo

Amazing week for the gorilla cookies in Coco as I notice with the last ones they were hungry I decided to take a risk and start this one off in 400 parts per million this week. And it's working great. I will level them out for a couple feeds just to get them used to that. What I have come to realise is that the only thing about these plants now is that they've just got the auto flower in genetics. Everything else is photo . ------GENERAL COMMENT------ Everything going well, the AK47 is much more vigorous than the BB, let's consider that she was more stressed. So i'm putting up the week timelapse, is a pain to do it but i found the result very interesting will try to put up one weekly. This week was a busy one, opted to a defoliation to be able to even the bud spots introducing a cage, and doing some LST, training to the cage to make a more flat pre flower spots in that way the flowering will be easier to control. So the plants grew in hight but was trained to be more bushy. We have a week to go or something about that then i will switch to 12-12. ------GG.AK47 COMMENT------ Vigorous growth, she was trained to even the canopy, with many bud spots.

At day 20, I can see that the strech phase is almost over. The girls are now expressing a more specific nose, even if they share a similar aromatic profile of exotic fruits. This week I gave blooming nutrients for the second time. This is the last time I gave root stimulant, and enzymes to the plants. I bought a new dehumidifier, the capacity of it is 12litres/day. It works unexpectedly good, so the humidity for now is around 40% all day. You can see, that the plants started to bloom. I've cut all the unnecessary leaves from the plants, and cleaned out the growing area.
