Day 22- She stopped putting on height due to one night of a dramatic temperature drop. It's a cooler fall this year plus a freeze came through the night before. That night, I was up doing some studying when I noticed the reading on the remote display. N o telling how long it had been in the very low 60's. The problem was fixed simply by adding a heater to the room. Now, the temp is only in the 68 degree range for the final 2 1/2 hrs. before the lights are cut back on. Day 26- Her bud branches hav grown at least 2 -5 innches in length and have at least 2-4 bud sites already. Instead of Defoliation, I decided to actual two different types of LST. The first is simply bending to fan leaf branches under to expose the bud branches to more light. The main benefit is that you still keep the ability to absorb more of the light energy with them. I look at the fan leaves as your plant's " Personal Sun Panels". Since they store energy in the day and use that reserve to grow at night, why would you take something away for her that is meant to help her? Also, the second method I used is something I like to call" wind thickening". The technique is using wind resistance to train your plant's stem and branches to become more rigid by growing thicker to stablize itself. So, instead of a gentle breeze, I use a three speed box fan at varies distance. I started doing this on Day 22 and the results are definitely showing. The main stem went from 1/16 in. to a nice 3/8 in.

Day 80 This morning I started defoliating Tropicana. She will be in the darkness for the next days. I already harvested a part of the head flower and let it dry trimmed. Because of extreme weather conditions and very high humidity I got a little bud rott. I found it out quit early I think. So I hope nothing will not happen any more. Just harvesting relaxed and drink a Tropicana tee. Day 81 I decided to cut her down in the evening. The humidity in the basement room is high and I don‘t want to risk here anything anymore. Waiting for my first homegrown weed to be vaped. Day 82 Tropicanas flowers hanging to dry in my basement. I check them once per day with a strong light. Day 83 Same same. The smell is wonderful like a bit of gas combined with a fruity flower bouquet. Our neighbors in the house like the smell, too. 🙏 Day 84 I could try my first homegrown weed. It‘s absolutely tasty and have a very smooth vape. I was very surprised cause it‘s not cured yet. A longer vape report will follow when it‘s dried and cured. Day 88 All flowers, sugar- and tee leafs are trimmed and filled in glasses for curing. I open twice per day for 20 minutes. Boveda packs 58% inside. I will fill out the rest of the diarie when my buds are dried, cured and vaped. So far this was a very exciting journey for me. Growing cannabis and even legal on our balcony. Day 36: Girls looking pretty happy. Still some discoloration going on. Doesn't look to be spreading though. Day 37: Ok, the girls obviously were not happy this morning. I watered with quite a good amount of runoff and measure the PPM at 3200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm surprised they are still alive! Had to make a quick run to get some water for a flush as I only have 5 gallons worth. Ran 2 gallons through each of them at a ph of 6.4 around 9:30 this morning. It's now 5pm and they have pulled through great. These OG Kush are extremely resilient. Day 38: The girls look way better today after flushing yesterday. Two of the pots were almost completely dry already. Went ahead and fed at 500ppm with runoff. Day 39: I think it's dialed in now. They are looking amazing and still stretching pretty good. Went ahead and pulled off a handful of leaves between the 5 of em. Day 40: Did a little more defoliation and opened them up a bit. I am super worried about getting any type of mold or any issues in particular for this first round. One of the girls needs a touch more but ran out of time. Girls are looking super healthy! 💪 Day 41: They are looking super awesome. Got the runoff dialed in. 750 going in and roughly 800 coming out. May up it in a week or so. Day 42: Nothing new to update. Girls still looking amazing. I think the stretch may be slowing just a tad.

Stopped using chemical nutrients and will only be using Gaia Green power bloom to top dress the soil for the remainder of the grow. This plant will most likely be a monster. Im sure it will yield a lot.

Got a good bit of males out of the lot but the females were def worth the wait. Def some og traces in smell and has a floral taste in the test batch with a little gsc baked cookie and sweetness. Something worth pulling out on occasion not every day.

Another week another part of progress, wedding gelato is doing great, the shape is how I want it and now she just needs to put on weight. All going as planned, super happy with the living soil from Sonnenerde like always !

Week 13 - a cute visitor! We've had strong winds, so I made a little support net with some hemp string. Tbh, I just went with my inuition: knots here and there and strong support. Let's hope this will do the trick. Temps are lower this week but humidity is up. Sun keeps shining. This should be a good harvest. Another 10cm growth spurt. That's more than 1cm per day. I should hear her grow at this speed. Also, the leaves on this one. She really means business. It's almost a full time job to keep her in check. But I'm only here on weekends and I think she likes that. 5 days of undisturbed growth until it's time for a little leaf shedding. She's doing and looking great. I found a tiny critter enjoying some leaves, luckily my cats keep them at bay, so no damage.

Day 50. Selective defoliation, constant spraying ( I said never in flower, but it goes well, so I will keep up for few more days ). All good, nothing special except missing space as always ;)))) Day 54. The Ganja Gelato girls are done! This was this their last week. I had been watching the trichomes closely daily, and by Thursday (day 77), they were ready. A nice mix of almost all cloudy and a few ambers peeking through 😋. They had 4 full water feeds to runoff, so I feel that they are ready to go. I no longer do a 48 hour dark period before harvest, so it’s happening, happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨
