HST - heavy feeding - defoliation this week. Should of been done last week *shameface* now some of them are very top heavy and are starting to bend, this is also due to having my clones way to long to begin with. They should have been a lot shorter. 😤 Very happy they have finally picked up from such a bad start in the beginning. loving how short and bushy they are. 😃 Next week will be changing to Flower Cycle 👽

Things are looking very nice! I’ve top dressed and defoliated here and there. Lots of frost coming in as things are starting to stack and take shape.

Day 43 12/08/24 Monday Feed today, it was warm again so they drank the whole 300ml each so I have topped up another 150ml to see run off to prevent salt build up. It has been a good run thus far. I’m contemplating just leaving them alone and not defoliating, but it’s what I’ve always done with great success. I was asked earlier in the week if I always keep my ph this low(5.5-5.6)? The short answer is yes. I’ve always done this and have never had a ph problem or nutrient lockout. If I tested the runoff solution, most people would freak out. Maybe I’ll do it in next weeks video…I bet it’s triple my input solution!!! I’ve trained these plants since seedling to take high nutrients and it’s paid off. Super Lemon Haze is a 9 week strain but I would bet they will go a full 10 weeks. I’m gonna push the last few weeks and put on the weight. I am shooting for 3 pounds per light. We will see. Thanks again for all the comments and questions. See you next week.

On the home stretch! Should see some decent bud swelling this week (at least that’s how this strain develops in DWC ... haven’t flowered White Shark in coco before 😬). Trichomes starting to cloud up more, as are the pistils browning and curling in.

As of day 25 things are going well. As I point out in the video, I had a mishap while tieing down the left stem of the mainline. It snapped most of the way through. I left it alone for a few days and then carefully trained her back down. She seems fine, maybe a little bit stunted but not bad. The wounded area is thickening up nicely. She has a very faint smell, but is is the piney aroma of northern lights. Update: Mid-week I discovered that I was underwatering, causing slow growth, and possibly nutrient deficiencies. This may be the cause of the brown tips and edges on the largest leaves. Hopefully I have it fixed from here on out. At least I know to be aware of it. I'm new to fabric pots and they dry out way faster than plastic or even ceramic.

Sorry for being late with this update! 😱 Plants are maturing well but I noticed Matcha is developing slower compared to Pistachio and I assume that's because the height of the lights are very different from each plant, but both are still going forward. A clear sign of maturity is Pistachio's brighter color leafs and the amount of "brown" pistils on both plants. Trichomes are developing well too. Anyway, I think I will give Pistachio one more week and then see how Matcha develops to cut her. I also started to defoliate my girls, there were tons of dying leaves! See you all in my next update!

Having an easy time with this baby, I love the genetics from Autoseeds, can't wait until the final yield. Definitely one of the biggest plants I've grown indoors.

The plants were doing great, i feel that this strain can go for a better grow. Overwatering was an issue for me because of this strain packs buds and leaves are very little on it. Next grow for this strain i will need to improvise the watering schedule. This strain takes up very little water.
