Still trucking along. I had my light turned up a bit high for the first week, I turned them down a few days ago and all the plants seemed to enjoy it. Nothing else to report really.

When will this end? lol Pretty cold week, temp dropped to 12°c @ night So the top 2 huge colas are like 30% amber The middle big buds are like 10% amber and the small lowest buds are like 80% cloudy with no amber I think tomorrow(friday 10/02 first day of week 16) will harvest i dunno i think there's no benefits of letting her live more, i know its not 100% perfect but i think the combination of the very ambery top colas with the middle ones cloudy will balance the unconsistent ambers on each buds.

what is small is beautiful. The girls look healthy and vital. coconut has an unnecessarily low EC - 0.8 and pH 7.4 - both from leaching measurements from coco samples in distilled water. The EC of the solution will be set at level 1.5 with the intention of gradually increasing it up to 2.5. pH by the same principle with a start around 6 and an upper limit of 6.5. looks easy right? Week 5 of flower and seed production for all these plants has started in earnest. We cleaned up the tent somewhat and took down all the males after having done their job. Alls left is to wait for finish now. The nute deficiency appears to have corrected itself now that we’ve balanced out the ratios a little more. The WPM is no match for the sodium bicarbonate but still gonna have to keep on top of that to the end of the grow. Full fumigation of the grow spaces will be required - multi-day process I am not looking forward to. Time cleaning is time not growing, sadly. We’re coasting to the finish now but should still have some decent updates on our super secret seed harvesting method once they’ve fully matured😉👍. Hope everyone’s well and grow’n that straight 🔥. Background Fingers crossed that these Spicy Bitch regs provide at least one male so that we can back build some stock of it. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. 2/6: Amnesia 3 is just about 6 inches tall now. Trainwreck is only a couple inches behind. Still keeping the temps between 73-82 and the humidity in the mid to low 70s. After thoroughly watering the very healthy, young tomato plant that coesxists in the tent, the tips of some of the leaves turned yellow. That makes me wonder if soaking the soil for the first time since transplant caused a bit of nutrient burn. I'm going to avoid any nutrients the first time I water Amnesia 3 and Trainwreck fully, to avoid the same potential issue. They're not looking too thirsty yet though. 2/8: Amnesia 3 is tall enough and has a thick enough main stem to start slowly low stress training with a rubber coated gardening wire. I pre-drilled holes in my buckets for this occasion, and the wire fits well. Each day for the next week I'll gently pull the wire to slowly bend the main stem downwards, similar to how braces work on teeth: a long, slow procedure. 2/9: Woke up to Trainwreck's leaf tips pointing downwards, so I took it as a sign to go ahead and give it its first watering. I siphoned up a bit of the runoff water, and it came back at a PH of 4! That's not good; however, after researching a bit, it's likely that I could have siphoned up a pocket of low PH nutrient-filled water, making my reading way off in terms of the PH of the whole slurry of runoff. If the leaves don't bounce back, I'm going to take that as a potential sign of Nitrogen toxicity and will monitor more closely. Will probably make plans for a flush if it progresses any worse than downward leaves. Nitrogen toxicity can cause fragile, dark green leaves that point down in a shape similar to a claw, among other symptoms. 2/12: Watered Amnesia 3 for the first time since transplant. Getting taller and less bushy in some spots, so I may turn up the lights from 60 to 75% tomorrow, to see if I can increase some more growth. But before, I want to make sure this watering doesn't cause any nute burn from the soil.

All 6 chopped after 48 hours dark. The old rainwater brought some wicked Col ours out and there’s plenty of buds bleeding purple. Loved these and they’ve been nice and straightforward. I did give them a bit of a hard time with under and over feeding but there still looks a decent amount of really dense bud there. Will add some better pics and weights when it’s ready. Now hanging at 55F and 65RH not the temps and humidity in the video 😂. Happy New Year 💚

Week 4 these girls have exceeded my expectations, there ready for the outdoor flower. Can't wait to see the outcome, I haven't had any deficiencies in my veg from being patient any letting nature take place.

574.44 grams dry weight 3 plants. Some options are not showing for me to fill in such as dry weight and % of sativa compared to indica . To me 85% indica 15% Sativa. Nice plant definitely recommend, nice harvest weight

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds.
