8/23/2025- Emptied and refilled resevoir with the above nutes. Nuggets are smelling stinky now and looking good but I have to be transparent in identifying mistakes, not reporting them only fucks myself in future grows. I have snapped several plants stalks and folded them under my lights as they just grew above the lights to the ceiling. I hated doing this but I simply ran out of room and didnt do any topping or training. That aside, I see lots of fat colas and stinky nuggets, I just blew the sativas a bit by letting them get too damn tall.

Day 15. All girls will get either first or second feed. Upside down Kush was left in original pot, newwaver Kush was ripped with fingers from soil and transplanted to new pot, never will i have two plants in same pot ever again !!! And just couldn't throw out one ;))) Kushes got middle of the tent, think i will top them only, it will be too bushy with 11 heavily LST'ed plants. Think day 18 - first training day for 8 girls ;) Day 16. Girls are loving life - thats fact !. Now i have to rethink LST plan, thought to train them on day 18, but they grow so compact, that i have two options : A. Top them on 5 or 6 nod and train from there. B. Lift lights and induce vertical grow. But its such a tricky move, usually they repeate that overstreched patern even if you bombard them with light after ... C. Postpone LST to day 24-26. Never i did it so late, stem becomes very stiff, hard to bend her heavily ... Next few days will show ... Day 18. Girls are real beauty, they started to strech a bit, will give couple more days and will train them hard on monday. Day 20. Dice was rolled !!! LST !!! Girls are very compact, will be fun to veg them will have to plan well how to flatten up them. Kushes are behind, but i had to keep tent as dry as possible, need plants dry, otherwise stems crack from such heavy training. Put couple soft wires to lift leaves from soil .. Pure ph water and loads of spray now !!! Next few days will show ... Happy growing !!!

Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! The bud formation across all the genetics is nothing short of incredible. Every plant is thriving, and the canopy is lush, vibrant, and full of potential. I’ve raised the PPFD to 750 for this stage, with temps steady at 25°C and RH at 63%—keeping the VPD dialed in at 1.11. (5 led 3000k, 3 led 2700k, 1 led 3500k)

Getting a little tight for space, the tobacco and kush has filled the grow space to capacity. The clone i took from the kush has taken well, will be interesting to see what she produces.

10/29: flowing on autopilot At this point. I did not have to do anything with them this week. They have recovered from that terrible stress from a massive defoliation. The smell is not very strong, but of you get close to the buds, they smell pretty bad honestly. Lol. Its a weird smell. Bot sure how to describe it. Kinda like a bitter chemical. Hopefully that is not the end result of the terps. I am very disappointed now that i did not get one of the really purple phenos. The clones are doing great and have been potted in 1 gallon pots. Not sure i end up keeping any of them now that i know i do t have the plant that i wanted and i al not convinced that i will even like any of these yet.
