🌸 Lava Cake – Week 7 (3rd Week Flower) | Blossoms Rising The third week of flower has arrived, and our Lava Cakes are stepping fully into bloom. Both girls are looking beautiful, symmetrical, and strong, with thick white pistils reaching out and leaves still praying to the light. Their similarity in structure makes this run feel almost like growing twins, each reflecting the same genetics, each glowing with energy. ⸻ 🔙 Looking Back – The Road Here From seeds sprouting in soft cups → to vigorous veg under Future of Grow and ThinkGrow LEDs → to the careful transplant and expansion in the 8x8 ecosystem, every stage has been about setting a solid foundation. • Feeding: Aptus core line + Plagron boosters • Training: Gentle guiding, letting them branch freely • Environment: Tuned by the TrolMaster brain, with sensors guiding irrigation and VPD All of this has brought us here: lush plants in early bloom, no signs of stress, and a canopy built for flower stacking. ⸻ 🍽️ Current Recipe – Staying Steady This week, we keep the same feed — consistency is key as the flowers set. Per L Water: • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.5 ml • Plagron Power Buds – 1 ml • Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml • Plagron Green Sensation – 1 ml With the Aptus All-in-One Liquid still paused, the soil’s embedded nutrition + pellets are helping balance things out while these bloom boosters do the heavy lifting. ⸻ 🌡️ Room & Rhythm • Temps: ~31–34°C (still awaiting the AC unit for stabilization) • Humidity: ~60%, bringing VPD near 1.9 kPa • Watering: Daily — plants are drinking heavily, irrigated once substrate moisture falls near 19–20% • Monitoring: TrolMaster WCS substrate sensor + Tent-X keep us informed on EC, moisture, and temps directly in-soil Even with warm conditions, the Lava Cakes are thriving, drinking more, praying more, and pushing out flowers with confidence. ⸻ 🌸 Week 3 Flower – What We See • White Hairs: Thick, long, and vibrant, covering the tops like cotton clouds. • Flower Formation: Calyxes stacking, pistils reaching — no signs of hesitation. • Leaf Posture: Still upright, showing photosynthesis and metabolism are strong. • Uniformity: Both plants showing the same pace and morphology, a sign of stable genetics and consistent environment. ⸻ 🔮 Looking Ahead – What to Expect / Not to Expect ✅ Expect: • Rapid stacking in the next 2 weeks — buds will start to swell noticeably. • Aroma development — sweet Lava Cake terpenes may start teasing the air soon. • Nutrient demands rising steadily as flowers form. ❌ Not to expect: • Big trichome coverage just yet — resin production typically comes later. • A slowdown — stretch is nearly over, but flower development is just beginning. ⸻ ✨ Closing Thoughts The Lava Cakes are shining this week. Both are aligned in their growth, both are drinking and feeding with rhythm, and both are showing that the careful setup, from lights to irrigation to sensors, is paying off. Week 3 of flower is a promise — not yet the harvest, but the first real glimpse of what’s coming. Thick pistils today, heavy buds tomorrow. With consistency in feeding, environment, and care, these girls are well on their way to becoming the stars of the room. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. Welcome to my Auto Cinderella Jack(s) grows from Dutch-Passion. Both ladies have been on water for 10 days. The synthetic got a hard flush and the organic was soft flushed (water for 10days to rid of excess nutrients in soil) Was such a pleasure to grow both girls. The organic has lovely bright orange hairs with very dense hard big buds. Calyxes are nice and big with a nice leaf to calyx ratio. (Not much to trim)...The Synthetic girl has a completely different structure. Has shorter buds, that are very dense and has a lot more frost. Has lovely hints of purple throughout it. All buds are lovely and tight/dense and very stinky and sticky. Both plants needed the full dose of the FC 3000 and I've no doubt that I'd of gotten a different bud structure deeper into the canopy. (Its not larf) just not as hard the deeper down into the canopy, (some of the bud) All ladies (autos) have been in a dark rest 24hrs now and will get another 24hrs in a dark tent. Hoping to see glistening resin upon harvesting. Plants will be harvested in this grow week and dried, then after I taste and get the measure of both plants as for quality I'll rate them then. HARVEST DAY. 48Hr rest. And they nice and glistening. Glad I rested them. You really can see the resin. I harvested whole. Pult the whole plant(s) up from the stem and broke away the clay and took the main roots that come from the stem. The organic, boy, she was bet in. Took me all my strength to break away her main roots. They were mm thick. Very nice root structure also. The synthic, the soil just broke apart before I could take out upon my pulling..put my back into it thinking would be the same. Strong, but nowhere near as good a root zone as the nearly all organic beat her hands down. As for bud size, she took that to. They equally smell very fruity and have a very light gasey smell. But very fruity. More that than anything. I'm sure I'll put my finger on it as the days go by. Let's hope they both dry nice and I can keep a steady temperature. (REMINDER if room drying this time of Yr. Turn off your radiators) More pics to come and info on how the process is going.. Thanks for dropping by. Be sure to like so I can visit your diaries. Either way thanks for dropping by.

It was getting quite hot in the tent, however after adding a fan just in 2 minutes temperature dropped to 27. Also now i realize LST was too early, some of the small leaves are damaged, however plant overall looks very healthy and strong. Added supporting structure with bamboo sticks for LST and used softer material for it. Plant looks quite even for now.

On the last day of week 10 I brought it down to 18 hours lights. Then half way through week 11 I brought it to 16 hours. My plan was to reduce light until next week to 12/12 so I could try and induce resin development. One plant is done, as you can see from the trichomes. The other will finish this week. I wasn’t finished flushing and would prefer another week, but I also don’t want couch lock bud.

7/6 Plants looked great thos morning. I WATERED A GALLON to the 50 and split one between the two tens. Top of the bags are still moist amd they still have some heft. I'm hoping this will at least carry me 48hrs. These are BIG plants and the wind goes right through those bags and dries them out. I'd rather have that though than worry about overwatering. I noticed some minor deficiencies on a couple plants so it's time to start the nutes. Calcium I'd guess. Just a beginning stage but it's time. Next feeding they'll get some food too. I'll still monitor during the day to make sure they ront dry out. It's amazing how fast they come back after they dry out but it stresses them. EDIT: I WENT OVER AROUND 2OM AND IT WAS OVERCAST AND 83°. ALL THE PLANTS LOOKED GREAT AND ALL OF THEM WERE STILL SLIGHTLY NOIST EXCEPT THE 10TH PLANET. THEY ALL HAD SOME HEFT TO THEM TOO. THE SUN IS OUT BRIGHTER NOW BUT IT MAY RAIN TONIGHT AND CONSIDERING HOW GOOD THE PLANTS LOOKED I THINK IVE FOUND MY CORRECT WATERING RATIO. IM NOT GOIMG TO 9VET WATER IN THESE GROW BAGS WITH ALL THIS WIND. I NOTICED SOME FOUR LINED PLANT BUG MARKS ON ONE OF THE LITTLE PLANTS AND REMOVED A FEW LEAVES FROM THAT THIRSTY 10TH PLANET THAT COULD BE SEPTORIA. IM GOING TO TREAT IT BUT I HAVENT DECIDED WITH WHAT YET. I MEAN I NEED TO MAKE SURE ITS NOT JUST PESTS OR WATER SPLASHES FIRST TOO. I'VE BEEN PRETTY SANITARY THIS YEAR. IF I HAD A PLANT THAT DIDNT RESPOND TO TREATMENT AND IT WAS INDEED LEAF SEPTORIA I THINK ID RATHER SACRIFICE THE PLANT THAN RISK SPREADING IT. IM PROBABLY JUMPING THE GUN BUT I NEED TO BE READY IN CASE THAT'S THE CASE. IF NOT FOR LOCAL LAWS I WOULD THE PLANT ISOLATED. BUT IM TALKING I PULLED MAYBE FOUR LEAVES OUT OF THE LEAFIEST BUNCH AND INSPECTED EVERYTHING. 7/7 We got thunder storms last in the afternoon and last night. For at least 45 mins it rained harder than I've EVER seen it. Pure sheet rain. It turned over to heavy rain before moving out. The plan was to water everything this morning and start feeding. As I said in the video the soul was still moist amd the bags still had some heft. Not like I just watered them though. I stopped by a local dispo on my way home and talked with the best grower I personally know (thanks Junior) and his advice was the same as what I was planning. I planned on going around noon to check them. He said I could probably wait until like six and then when I do water give them like a 1 1/2 gallons to make up for that monsoon we had earlier. I showed him the video and explained how I have been watering. My intuition feels good about this. I may go check on them earlier but I don't think it's necessary. As usual I'll update as I go. EDIT: AS SUGGESTED (WELL I SPLIT THE DIFFERENCE) I WENT OVER TO FIND ALL NY PLANTS LOOKING GORGEOUS EXCEPT THE 10TH PLANET REVEG THAT WAS A "LITTLE" SAGGY. I LIFTED THEM AND FELT THE SOIL IN THE BAGS. I DECIDED ON WATERING AS PLANNED EVEN THOUGH IT MIGHT HAVE MADE IT UNTIL NORNING. THIS WAS MY WATERING DAY ANYWAY. HOWEVER I ONLY WATERED 1 GAL PER 20 1.5 FOR 30 AND .5 FOR 10. I THINK THAT WILL WORK OUT GREAT WITH THE UPCOMING COOLER TEMPS. IT WAS SO HOT. DIDNT HAVE TIME BUT SHIT IS LOOKING GOOD. 7/8 Finally that hot streak has broken. It's in the 70s and it rained a little last night. Had to use an iPhone and send it to me because my phone was dead. My plan worked out great and everything is looking fantastic. We may get some rain tonight but I'll be watching the forecast. I DO need to feed and may do that. I might wait until next week. I also need to figure out what to do about that four lined plant bug. The birds that perch on my cage do a good job getting pests. Knock on wood I haven't seen many. I killed one pillar and there's just that four lined plant bug. That's really the only damage. I'd Hate to spray my girls with a bunch of shit over ONE bug. We shall see and I'll keep this updated. 7/9 Phone was dead this morning. Went back over later and defoliated a little bit. On reveg ive found a few spots that look like it could be septoria. Could be splash up or a million other things too. The birds have been taking care of pillars. I've found two this season which were promptly killed. Everything looked good. We are in much cooler weather now. Still high 70s with at least 90%rh. Could have showers but I need to keep up with my watering. I kept with the increase and watered everything with 2 gallons. With the exception of the 50 and the two 10's the 50 I skipped and each 10 got 1 gallon. Now it's time for a shout out. I get my seeds from North atlantic seed company. They have a sister company @dirtybirdgenetics which produces amazing strains that flourish in Maine. N.A.S.C has always used me good but this will be my first dirty bird grow next year. None of this was necessary but it's greatly appreciated. The hand written note put a huge smile on my face. 7/10 Rained last night. Phone won't charge so I used an iPhone and uploaded some pictures and a video. Plants are looking good but I've noticed "a" leaf with pillar markings. It's time to start feeding. I'm not sure if I'll start tonight or next watering. I'm not really sure. Any deficiencies are minor. I need to check my supply and see what I'm going to use. I'm suprised I haven't seen any wpm (knock on wood) with rh so high and "rolling mists". Happy 7/10 to those that indulge in oil. 7/11 Hurried morning. Watered this morning. I watered the ones that drink more with two gallons and a couple that were heavier got 1.5 gallons and the 10's got about a gallon apiece. I also fed for the first time this year. Plants are still in that transition stage and are starting to stretch. I still have nutes left on hand. I used I tsp grow big, .5 tsp cal mag and 2 tsp big bloom (per gallon) just to see how they react. I mixed two gallons and gave everything a little less than a powerade bottle I think is 1.75 pints. I can tell that some of the leaves aren't as lush green as they were. It's time to start feeding. Probably past time. Next year I'll probably go organic all the way bit this year I'm just going to be doing the same thing I have in years past. If it's not broke don't fix it. I have liquid kool bloom and some other nutes for later on in flowering. I'll be looking at nutes today but I'll probably stick with what I've been using. I also am considering plant doctor for the 10th planet that LOOKS like it may have a small case of septoria and I'm not even sure. It looks like splash back to me but we'll see. No wpm so far though. The birds are really doing great with pest control. I'll still be using BT a little bit later on. 7/12 Plants looked great this morning. I decided that if I treat its going to be with plant doctor. Most plants have hairs so I'm reluctant to use copper. I'm reluctant in general. But the plant that seems to expose a leave or two is a reveg and will be the first one thatci treat. I also went to get nutes and found my grow store turned into a "feed" store. I bought some fresh big bloom as that's all that was available. Then after purchase the cashier explained they still HAD the NUMERIOUS shelves of nutes (pretty much everything) but it took up to much room and was "spilling" the legit are wasting store space on packaged seeds opposed to the high end nutes they are known for. Whatever. I'm doing what my buddy said and to do what I do every year. If its not broke don't fix it. I'm think9ng of treating with plant doctor tomm. Or next watering. EDIT: ONE MORE VIDEO. WENT OVER AROUND FOUR AND PLANTS ALL LOOK HAPPY. THEY LIKED THE NUTES BUT I ASSUME I'LL HAVE TO UP THE REGINEN. SEEING HOW THE WEATHER IS COOLER ILL PROBABLY WATER EVERYTHING A LITTLE LESS. ILL TREAT THE INFECTED 10TH PLANET WITH PLANT DOCTOR AFTER I WATER. PLANTS ARE IN THAT ASPARGUS STAGE AND QRE EXPERIENCING SOME STRETCHING. I'VE DEALT WITH SEPTORIA A FEW TIMES. IF I WAS ABLE TO ID ISOLATE THE PLANT. I GO MYLTIPLE TIMES A DAY AND MAKE SURE THETE IS NO INFECTED GROWTH. LUCKILY (OR POSSIBLY UNLUCKILY AS IT MAY HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO ITS INFECTION) ITS A REVEG SO IT HAS LITERALLY TONS OF FOLIAGE. INSTEAD OF PRUNING IVE JUST REMOVED THE LEAVES THAT A SORE LANDED ON. I CANT WAIT TO WATCH THESE GIRLS FLOWER.

We had some days of hanging leaves after placing them in new pots, probably root stress. After some days they recovered and now they are doing well in their new homes 🌱✨

Big week! I got my new EarthBoxes and a bunch of goodies. I picked up the Probiotic Farmer's Alliance kit from BuildASoil, so I also got some EM-1, Kashi Blend, dolomite lime and Malibu compost. Alongside that I picked up Colorado Worm Compost (vermicompost), Gnarley Barley (malted barley, corn and hemp) and Craft Blend (aprox 3-5-2 organic mix). Unfortunately there was a bag of soil missing, so I ended up using my own mix though I am somewhat scared of it being too clay-heavy for the SIP. I inoculated with EM-1 and began fermenting a batch of activated EM-1 to make the bottle last longer. It looks about a week from LST, after that I hope to set up a two-tier SCROG setup and begin growing the bushes. I will begin spraying AEM-1/EM-FPE/EM-5 alternatively once a week for IPM, I will try to avoid using neem this round (unless I find this approach lacking). I also brewed a batch of EM-FPE with aloe that smells incredible, I can't wait to give it a go.

All plants look happy, healthy and green. Added some cheap Wilkos Organic Plant Feed because why the hell not? Next 2 weeks will increase PK for peak flower. This plant is on the left of the timelapses.

Week 8 Flower The last week of flush for these two. They were taken down on Day 56, after a 16 Day flush. I think Twin2 could have finished at 7 weeks, but of course I hadn't planned for this, or I would have flushed sooner. So she was taken to the originally planned 8 weeks. Twin2 has also foxtailed quite a bit, from only slightly higher temps and also because she's having a last attempt at catching any pollen in order to reproduce. Although the pots were slightly damp still when I harvested, it is best to take them down when they're dry. The only reason I didn't, was because I knew I'd be too busy the next day, and there were plants in veg that were desperate to be thrown into the flower tent! The pics do make them look wetter than they were though. Their fan leaves were taken off and they were each hung in seperate boxes, where they'll dry as slowly as possible for between 6-10 days. I dont suffer with very high humidity, so I'm able to do this without any issues. When I feel it is too humid, I simply burp the box for the first day or 2 once a day. The slower the dry the better the buds will taste/smell. Once she's dry enough she'll be trimmed and jarred for curing. It's going to be a pretty tough one for keeper pheno! They both have similar but very different smells. By that I mean, they both smell very floral and sweet, but T2 smells extra sweet (although definitely not as dense). That doesn't mean T1 doesn't smell just as nice. Hers buds are thicker and more dense, so even though I've favourited T2 in the pics, I think I'm leaning towards T1 still. But in all honesty it's still down to dry weight and the taste test! This can all be looked forward to in the harvest update! It's been a seriously fun diary with these two twins. I'm definitely glad I separated them. Do you think you'll attempt to separate them after seeing my experience? Please let me know! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

🗓️ Week 11 – Flower Week 7 (MAC n Cheese only) This week brought a noticeable shift: After raising the input EC to 2.0, runoff EC spiked to 2.2–2.6 – a clear sign of salt saturation in the medium. Despite that, pH remained stable between 6.2–6.3, and no visible signs of overfeeding or nutrient lockout appeared. 🔧 Adjustment planned: Starting next watering, EC will be reduced to 1.6–1.7 to rebalance the substrate and maintain nutrient uptake efficiency. 🌿 Current plant status: MAC n Cheese is looking incredibly strong – healthy, vigorous, and showing no stress despite the high EC in the runoff. Frost production is in full swing now, and the buds are packing on serious weight. 🧀 Visuals & Flower Development: The buds are massive, dense, and coated in a thick frost layer – already resembling little icicles. She’s maturing into something special. ❄️🔥

First full week of flowering with some more training and defoliation. Both plants received 2 litres this week. I believe that was too much because leaves were droopy for much of the week. I'm going to let them dry for 6 days and then will start with Bloom nutrients. I'm also surprised by how different these plants look seeing as they're the same strain.

Sooo... The King's Juice Auto wasn't placed back into the tent as you can see and she also wasn't really developing the pistols properly. Gave me a bit of worries but I think/hope she just needed some time to get used to the outdoor conditions. The last few days she started to develope quite well again. So far I could see any male traits... I hope it stays that way and she actually stays a female and only a female. Putting her back alone into the tent unfortunately just wasn't efficient at all. I switched the plants around and my tent is now a 3 plants flower tent with 12-12 cycle, so the King's Juice Auto probably wouldn't have had a lot of fun in the tent anymore. Also if the KJA decided to hermaphrodite as well, I wouldn't know if she was pollinated already or if my tent is still holding on to some pollen from before and I just HAVE to know if my tent is safe now. I just hope outdoor conditions stay like this. It's very sunny, hot and dry right now
