Week 6 of flower, defoliate, water, cruise control

I still have to go thru all the photos but wanted to get the video up for all of them first. If your interested in the pics come back at the end of today and they will be up it just takes a while. Noticing more seeds poppin thru, I hope it's from the moonshine cookies pollen cuz the female turned out bomb and the male wasnt too bad either so they might be decent seeds. Started the flush on the citradellic and the other ones might have got their last feed yesterday. Should be finishing up next week and the week after.

This strain was an easy girl to grow. Very vigorous and towered over her double grape sister. She didn't develop the most dense nugs but I will attribute that to my lame light setup during this grow. She grew under 2 mars 300s and 1 hlg65 4000k in between. I've rolled 1 joint that got me pretty baked. I would judge this particular pheno as sativa leaning. I also vaped a bowl through the mighty and she still has a very green taste because She hasn't been curing very long. She developed a beautiful color when she ripened at the end of flower and yielded 54.8 dry grams of beautiful buds. I had probably another 40 or 50 grams of trim from this lady also. Next time I grow this strain, I will be dropping her in a much bigger pot. Harvested when trichomes were mostly foggy with maybe 5% amber. The biggest auto I have grown yet.

I didn't record the temps this week. I watered these about 3 gallons per pot per day. It was very cool this week. The high temp was averaging upper 50's F. Low temps were upper 30's lower 40's. Day 4 around 6 a.m. the temperature was 26°F and there was heavy frost on the ground. When I check on the plants about 7 a.m. they didn't have frost on them and were fine. These girls really did well. They didn't require and canopy maintenance. I topped way back and never had to tie up the branches or support in any kind of way. They were exposed to really strong wind that laid other plants over and bent branches that didn't recover. I'd recommend these for outdoors. The powdery mildew was manageable and the only maintenance these required. They did want to eat a lot and my wife was managing this by herself. I think we could have fed more and made bigger colas, but they did well regardless. The smell of these is special. They're very loud and have a watermelon note. 🤤🤤🤤

I watered my girl in day 10 with merely 250 ppm and 5.8 pH. Hope it wont cause any nutrient burn ! Update: watering every 1-2 day with 300ppm and 5.8pH.

Well the buds are stacking up pretty well. They have been trying to stretch a little this week so I have been LST branches as they pop up and trying to keep them from getting too close to the lights. Its a really tight fit so going forward I gotta be careful what strains I grow in this cabinet. I will have to get some small/short strains to grow in here and recommendations?

Day 78 19/07/24 Friday De-chlorinated tap water today, pH 6 with calmag 7.5ml to 5L water. Updated with short video. I'm waiting on the lime to finish so I can flip these. So this is last week of veg for her, seriously 🤣✌️💚 Great growth and recovery from last week's final topping and lollipop. Can't wait to flip, the smell she is starting to produce already as just the base plant is beautiful. Did all final topping this week on all tops 😁👌 Allowing recovery before flip Day 79 Transition week for flower (Flip Week) 20/07/24 Saturday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag today, she took 5L with 1L run off. Applied heavy LST as she won't fit in tent otherwise when finished!! Day 81 22/07/24 Monday Big feed today using the flower nutes now. De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 added nutrients. Checked pH again 6.2 after 20mins. I use advanced nutrients pH perfect for anyone asking. Noticed sex already, she is throwing out female pistils already 🤯 only flipped Friday 19/07/24. Smell is becoming more noticeable now. Glad she is now in the tent. Will update pictures tomorrow 😁✌️💚 Day 82 23/07/24 Tuesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only, 4L -minor small amount run off. She is getting thirsty 😅 Recovery this week is awesome from final topping I did last week. 25 Sep 2021 Today I’m starting Week 12 of this grow, and I couldn’t be happier. My 3 Ladies are looking great! I’m not seeing any negative signs that they’re not loving the increased nutrients. 👍🏻 so far, so good. I’ve moved up to step 7 of my 6 - part Flora Trio feed chart. It doesn’t change anything, so I figured I might as well. They will be getting the same amount they received the last feeding. They received: CALiMAGic 2ml, FloraMicro 3.8ml, FloraGro 3.8ml, FloraBloom 4.2ml, Floralicious Plus 2ml, and Liquid KoolBloom 1ml. The initial pH of all 3 gallons was 6.2. I added 2.2ml of pH UP to each gallon which adjusted the pH to 6.7 in all 3 gallons. The runoff ph was different for each (of course). C1 was 5.8, C2 was 6.0, and C3 was 5.7. 🤷‍♂️ Everything is going great, so…… If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it. I read an article about “popcorn buds” yesterday, and the importance of pruning them to get the main colas to fatten up better. I figured I’d give it a try, why not. Most of the popcorn buds go into the trim bag anyway, so why not, what do I have to lose? Hopefully not my perfectly healthy plants! The worry is hurting the plants more than helping them. I trimmed all of the small, lower branches off, as well as many of the smaller branches in the middle that don’t really receive any direct light. The stack was quite big once I was finished. You can see it on the video log I uploaded today. The temperature in the grow tent today was 84F, with humidity at 54%. I have the best of hope for a wonderful grow, but I just hope that they respond well to all of the trimming I’ve done today. We’ll have to just wait and see. Happy growing Growmies! 28 Sep 2021 What’s up Growmies! I have good news…. My plants are still alive and doing well! I was a little nervous after the last feeding and pruning session, but my babies are doing quite well. The last three days have shown an absolute explosion in pistil development all over all 3 plants! Some of the nodes are showing white and pink pistils, and their growth is lovely. They seem to be responding well to the full nutrient levels, but there are some mild signs of nutrient burn, but only on a few leaves. Most of the plants are still looking marvelous. I’m very happy with how they’re growing and to how they have responded to my trimming 3 days ago. I haven’t changed anything in their feeding from last time, so I’m just going to list it out here for you all to see. They each received the same amount in their own gallon of water. Each plant took the whole gallon, and the runoff was as expected. Each plant received: CALiMAGic 2ml, FloraMicro 3.8ml, FloraGro 3.8ml, FloraBloom 4.2ml, Floralicious Plus 2ml, and Liquid KoolBloom 1ml. The initial pH for all 3 was: 6.2, so I added 2.2ml’s of pH UP to each gallon which adjusted the pH to 6.7 for all 3 as well. My new TDS meter will be here Friday, so all I have for the runoff is the pH. C1 was 5.8, C2 was 6.0, and C3 was 5.6. I’m going to stop fretting over the runoff pH because it really doesn’t seem to matter a whole lot. However, I’ll still keep track of it nonetheless. The temperature in the tent today was 84F, and the humidity was 48%. See you in a couple days. Happy growing! 01 Oct 2021 Today I finally received my new TDS meter, and it stopped working after the first use! I was like, “Damn! WTF!!” For real, no bullshit. It sucks. Anyway; I just felt like sharing my woes with you all. Most likely it’s just me typing to myself. Today my lovely ladies got the same that they’ve been getting for the past couple weeks. CALiMAGic 2ml, FloraMicro 3.8ml, FloraGro 3.8ml, FloraBloom 4.2ml, Floralicious Plus 2ml, and Liquid KoolBloom 1ml. The initial pH of all 3 was 6.2. I added 2.2ml’s of pH UP to each gallon which adjusted the pH to 6.7 for all 3. The one time my new TDS meter worked, the TDS of C1 was 711 ppm. It stopped working after that. The runoff pH was C1 - 5.8, C2 - 6.1, and C3 - 5.7. The temperature in the tent was 84F, and humidity was 47%. My girls are looking wonderful, but there is some nutrient burn as I mentioned the other day. It hasn’t increased, which is good, but some of the larger fan leaves look like they’re losing a little color. The pistils all over the buds are growing even more, and the light pink hairs are now becoming numerous. They’re very pretty and look healthy. I’m smoking their Mother right now, which gives me happy thoughts for a wonderful harvest of her children soon to come. 😍🤞 I moved them all out of the tent briefly today for some cleanup and repositioning. They look good standing alone as much as when they’re together. I moved the fans around to give them more space and to improve ventilation and light distribution. I also did some LST on C1 and C2. I tied some of their longer, yet lower branches up to make them look up to the light instead of being toward the side. 🤷‍♂️ we’ll see if it makes a difference or not. Así es como empezamos la tercera semana,seguimos con humedad alta pero la vamos controlando.. Estos días da buen tiempo la humedad en la calle será mucho más baja así podré meter aire sin tanta humedad.. De momento todo bien en el cultivo ningún problema hasta la fecha. Ya podéis ver,y comentar sobre algo que veáis que yo no! Como dicen! Ven veinte ojos mejor que dos! 🖖 Día 12 Último fungicida prevención mutritis,hongos humedad. Primer riego foliar hormonas producción de flores. 🌹 Día 13 Nada en especial solo observar si veo algún cambio tras las hormonas,aún no veo grandes observaciones fuera de lo natural del paso de los días. En el día de mañana por lo que me recomendó el fabricante se verán los resultados a la vista! Comentar que seguimos con la iluminación al 100x100 de capacidad Marshydro sp3000 x2 Hero led Ignator t720 Yxo led 60w ir+un espectro completo En la siguiente semana me llega el nuevo driver de philips para poder conectar la lámpara de IR que pude adquirir a Yxo nuevamente! Lampara led espectro completo + IR 70w . Me vendrá muy bien para el pequeño espacio de la puerta que necesita más iluminación para poder desarrollar bien esas dos plantas,de la entrada. La humedad fue cosa del pasado. Evite el uso de desumificador eléctrico añadiendo varios de sales,deciros que funcionan muy bien no dan un control exacto pero mantienen una humedad interior estable para todo el periodo de floración! 50% de humedad lo demuestra! Hoy añadi un poco más de sustrato. 110 litros exactamente sobre la cama de cultivo que tenía de topcrop con humus de lombriz,tierra diatomeas y alimentada con npk. Después de eso tengo en mi cama de cultivo 810 litros de sustrato para mis 44haze. 💐 Saludos

Es el resultado del cruce de 2 variedades me gustan bastante, por lo que se imaginarán lo expectante que estaba por este nuevo ciclo. Me gustó y disfruté mucho viendo el desarrollo de esta planta, esta vez no quise entrenarla (LST, topping) para ver como se desarrollaba y la verdad no me decepcionó, quizás hubiera esperado más producción pero sin duda que la calidad de las flores vale totalmente la pena en desmedro del rendimiento. Flores compactas y poco aireadas completamente repleta de resina dulce y muy frutal. Totalmente recomendable para los que disfrutan de humos dulces, frutales, cremosos y con notas a frutos secos, ¡un lujo! Gracias a Sweet Seeds por darme la oportunidad de cultivar estas 3 novedades que la verdad son unas maravillas que sin duda volveré a cultivar. Será hasta la próxima, buenos humos!

Week 6 flower

D08 - 02/10 - 4 girls of 5 are very close to the ScrOG net. I think I'm going to tied'em up tomorrow. I decided to wait to cut off the lower branches of the other girls because I need more time and I don't want a quick grow. D09 - 03/10 - Still waiting D10 - 04/10 - They are arrived. Made first LST to keep'em down... D11 - 05/10 - continuing LST. Very strong girls ! D12 - 06/10 - I'm impressed how the mother plant is strong. So are the clones, just incredible. D13 - 07/10 - Made a big defolation and topped the main branches. All the girls must remain down, else I'm going to have big issues ! D14 - 08/10 - Continuing LST under the SCROG. I cutted the secondary branch trying to do a main lining.The girls are very hard to manage, I think I'm go to double the scrog waiting to move them in the other room.
