💙 Project Blue Tent – Week 3 Blue Waffle F1 – Pheno B (Folder 13B) Hello everyone, and welcome back to another update from Project Blue Tent! For those joining this journey for the first time, this project follows four individual Blue Waffle F1 plants from Zamnesia, each documented in its own diary from seed to harvest. Although they all share the exact same environment, nutrients, and growing conditions, every plant is allowed to tell its own story and reveal its own unique expression. Everything in this tent is built around the Zamnesia ecosystem, while the ladies are growing inside Plagron Premium Coco Growbags and being fed exclusively with the Plagron Hydro nutrient line. Today we’re taking a closer look at Blue Waffle F1 – Plant B. ⸻ 🌱 Week Three – Building Momentum Week three has been another very encouraging one. Plant B has settled beautifully into her coco home and has noticeably increased her pace of growth throughout the week. She began this update as a compact young plant, but over the last several days she’s filled out nicely, producing larger fan leaves and noticeably stronger apical growth. Her structure remains short and sturdy, with tight internodal spacing and excellent symmetry. The side branches are beginning to develop with confidence, giving an early indication that she’ll produce a well-balanced canopy in the weeks ahead. One detail that immediately catches my attention is how vigorous the newest growth appears. Every day the center becomes denser, showing that the roots are now well established and supporting increasingly rapid development. ⸻ 🌡️ Environmental Conditions One of the goals with Project Blue Tent is consistency. The entire ecosystem continues to perform exactly as intended, maintaining a stable environment throughout the week while the Phytonaut LED provides an even light distribution across the canopy. Average conditions this week were: * 🌡️ Day temperature: 27°C * 🌙 Night temperature: 25°C * 💧 Relative humidity: 67% * ⚗️ pH: 5.8 * ⚡ EC: 1.61 mS/cm * 💨 CO₂: approximately 450 ppm * 💡 Light schedule: 18/6 * ☀️ PPFD: approximately 350 At this intensity the plants receive plenty of energy to encourage compact vegetative growth without unnecessary stretching, while the stable environment allows them to focus entirely on developing healthy roots and foliage. ⸻ 🥥 Feeding Adjustments Coming from years of growing almost exclusively in living soil, growing in coco has definitely become an enjoyable learning experience. This week all four plants began showing a slightly lighter shade of green than I normally like to see. Nothing dramatic or concerning, but enough to tell me they were ready for a little more nutrition. Instead of waiting for deficiencies to develop, I prefer making gradual adjustments before the plants begin struggling. For that reason I increased the base feeding schedule. Current nutrition now consists of: * Plagron Hydro A — 1.6 ml/L * Plagron Hydro B — 1.6 ml/L * Plagron Hydro Roots — maintained at the previous dosage This small increase raised the EC slightly and should provide enough additional nitrogen and overall nutrition for the foliage to regain a richer green over the coming week. Every grow teaches something new, and coco rewards small, measured corrections rather than aggressive changes. ⸻ 🚿 The Unexpected Flood No grow is ever completely free of surprises. This week mine arrived in the form of an irrigation mishap. After switching on the irrigation system, one small mistake resulted in the tent flooding far more than planned. Thankfully, it looked much worse than it actually was. The first step was simply shutting everything down, grabbing a pile of towels, cleaning the tent thoroughly and checking that every component was still working correctly. Fortunately, because these plants are growing in coco, the situation remained under control. Coco retains excellent oxygen levels even after heavy watering, making it much more forgiving than traditional soil in situations like this. After allowing everything to dry back slightly, normal irrigation resumed without any visible stress to the plants. Sometimes growing isn’t about avoiding mistakes. It’s about solving them calmly when they happen. We’re already working on a permanent improvement for the irrigation setup, and I’ll happily share that solution once everything is installed in the coming weeks. ⸻ 🌿 Blue Waffle F1 – Plant B This phenotype is developing into a very attractive little plant. She has a sturdy central stem, broad leaves, and compact spacing between nodes, giving her a naturally bushy appearance even without any training. The petioles are beginning to show subtle reddish-purple pigmentation, while the newest leaves emerge with beautiful vigor before gradually maturing into the larger fan leaves. Although her colour is still a touch lighter than my personal preference, her posture tells the real story. Leaves are reaching upward. Growth is continuous. The plant looks happy. Sometimes plants communicate much more through their posture than through their colour alone, and Plant B certainly appears eager to keep growing. ⸻ 🔍 Looking Ahead Next week should be an exciting milestone. With the feeding now adjusted and the roots continuing to colonize the entire growbag, I expect noticeably faster vegetative growth and stronger lateral branching. I’ll continue monitoring leaf colour, growth rate and overall structure while preparing these ladies for the next stage of development. As messy as the irrigation mishap looked, the Zamnesia tent tray proved exactly why it’s part of the setup. Every drop of water was safely contained inside the tent, with absolutely nothing leaking onto the floor. What could have become a much bigger problem ended up being nothing more than grabbing a few towels, drying everything up, and carrying on with the grow. Sometimes you only discover how valuable a piece of equipment is when something goes wrong—and this week, the tray passed that test with flying colours. Coming to end of week 3 day 25 flowering. All looking pretty good. Couple that are more advanced than others but sure the others will get there. Humidity a bit high. Do have a big ass freestanding a/c dehumidifier just need to concuct a way of making it usable.

The strain is not the biggest yielder but its quite promissimg,the smell is top and the effects are a very mellow creative smoke,tastes like sweets,will grow it again ✌️✌️

She is just waiting for Pandora to finish up then she will move to the flower tent.

Vamos al lío, de las 3 plantas, me quede con 2 por espacio, siempre pongo alguna semilla de más por si no abriese alguna por no perder ese hueco del indoor. También se trasplantaron a su maceta definitiva, en este caso de 7 litros que además provocó un shock que también solucione. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

Well she need s bulb swapping but due to funds unavailable to do so but she is producing some very nice small nugs covered in tricomes can't wait to see the final results was a free seed from discreet seeds.com

These ladies have grown amazing this past week. I took of a few of the bigger fan leafs of but other then that just feed this week. The flower sites are starting to form. Definitely starting to smell stronger. All in all Happy Growing

Classic me, jumped the gun again on the nutes and went a bit too heavy on the PK for this stage. Normally, she would’ve handled it like a pro, but the weather threw me a curveball. Temps in the tent dipped to 22°C during the day, and she straight-up went on a hunger strike. I had to crank up the heat in the room to lock the tent temps at a steady 25-26°C. As soon as it warmed up, she perked right back up and crushed her 730ppm ration without a hitch. It’s becoming clear that even though she grows bushy like an Indica, she craves the heat like a true Sativa. Definitely never a dull moment here. 🌿 Week 11: The Runtz Harvest & The Final Stretch! ✂️🍂 The Vibe: Week 11 is here, and the tent is feeling a little more spacious! The big news this week is that the White Runtz Automatic has officially been chopped, and she did absolutely incredible. The remaining ladies are pushing through their final stages, and the autumn fade is in full swing. ✂️ The Harvest Report: White Runtz Automatic 🍩❄️ Total Time: 79 Days Rating: 10/10 The Verdict: This girl was an absolute dream to grow! From the start, she showed incredible vigor and stayed very resilient against any stress. Around week 7-8, she started to bulk up like magic. For a 100W setup, her bud density is seriously impressive, and the frost on her makes it look like she’s been dipped in sugar. She didn’t mind the BioBizz and Plagron mix at all and thrived on the PK 13-14 boost in late flower. A very straightforward, no-fuss plant that delivers top-shelf results. I can’t wait to test her out once cure are complete! The Remaining Ladies: Pineapple Express F1: Still the undisputed Queen of the tent! 👑 Her main colas are rock hard and coated in a sticky layer of resin. She’s showing off some beautiful purple and yellow hues in her fan leaves as she nears the finish line. Blue Cheese F1: My pungent little rebel. 🧀 She stayed compact and "boujee" until the end, but the smell coming off her is still the loudest in the tent. She is putting all her remaining energy into ripening those dense little nuggets. Care & Environment: With the Runtz out of the tent, airflow is fantastic. I'm keeping the humidity strictly around 45-50% to prevent any bud rot on these dense colas, and temperatures are holding steady at 27°C with the lights on. Watering is being closely monitored as they start using up the last of their stored nutrients. Next Steps: It’s all about the jeweler's loupe for the Pineapple Express and Blue Cheese now. I’m checking trichomes daily, waiting for that perfect amber ratio before the final chop. The finish line is right around the corner! Happy growing, everyone! One of the greatest joys of running a true phenotype hunt is discovering how differently each individual plant expresses herself, even when every variable remains exactly the same. Same genetics. Same lighting. Same environment. Same feeding philosophy. Yet every plant tells her own story. Godfather OG Pheno B is proving that perfectly. While some of her sisters are building broader, bushier canopies, this lady has chosen elegance over width, reaching confidently toward the lights with long, graceful branches and beautifully spaced flowering sites. She isn't trying to be the biggest. She's simply becoming herself. And that's exactly what makes phenotype hunting so fascinating. 🌱 The Journey So Far If this is your first visit to this diary, welcome! Every plant in this project is being grown using the 12/12 From Seed technique. Rather than extending the vegetative stage before inducing flowering, every seed has lived under twelve hours of light and twelve hours of darkness from the very first day. That means I never decide when flowering begins. The plants do. Each phenotype follows its own internal clock, revealing its own pace and personality. It's one of the reasons this project has become such an incredible learning experience. Watching sister plants develop into completely different individuals under identical conditions never stops amazing me. 🌸 Week One of Flower This week marks what I consider Week One of Flower. The transition is now unmistakable. Fresh white pistils are emerging across every growing tip, quietly announcing that the plant has shifted her priorities from building stems and leaves to creating flowers. These tiny white hairs may seem insignificant today... …but they are the first chapter of every future cola. Every morning seems to bring another cluster of pistils, another little burst of growth, and another reminder of how quickly this stage evolves. It's one of my favourite moments in the entire cultivation cycle. The excitement is only just beginning. 🌿 A Structure Built for Success Now standing close to 96 cm, Pheno B has become one of the tallest ladies in the room. Rather than producing a dense, compact canopy, she's expressing a wonderfully open architecture. Long internodal spacing. Strong central stem. Healthy side branching. Excellent airflow. Instead of fighting her natural shape, I've simply allowed her to develop the way she wanted. No aggressive training. No heavy defoliation. Just a little leaf tucking here and there to improve light penetration while letting the plant write her own story. Sometimes the best thing a grower can do... ...is simply stay out of the plant's way. The result is an elegant framework where every future flowering site has room to breathe and access to plenty of light. 💧 Hand Watering — Every Plant, Every Decision Unlike some of her sisters growing on AutoPots, Pheno B continues to be hand-watered. There's something incredibly rewarding about this approach. Every watering becomes an opportunity to slow down. To observe. To inspect every leaf. To notice the smallest changes before they become problems. Rather than simply feeding the plant, hand watering encourages a closer relationship with her development. As flowering begins, the nutrition program continues its gradual transition toward bloom production. Bloom nutrients are now taking a larger role while enough nitrogen remains available to support the final stretch before the plant fully dedicates her energy to building flowers. Everything is progressing exactly as planned. 🌡️ Environment — Consistency Creates Confidence The room continues delivering stable conditions that allow every phenotype to perform at her best.
