So here we are with the last chapter of this journey which had many ups and downs but overall was a great experience. I love growing, it slowly became my passion thanks for GD and the community. It makes so much better, and lot of fun, one can interact with others and can learn from each other. Thanks for everyone who was with me in this last 2 years, you made me a better grower.🌱🌞 So let’s talk about the progress. I grew Liberty for the second time because it was my first photoperiodic strain 2 years ago and totally impressed me with it’s high yield and the effects. I wasn’t disappointed this time either. She had great structure, responded well to topping and training, and was resilient to pests. The germination rate wasn’t as good as usual and finally got 3 different phenotypes from the 5 germinated seeds. I topped them once and performed low stress training to get a flat canopy. The strong structure and rate of growth was impressive in the first 10 weeks which was actually a vegetative phase. They didn’t have any nutrient issues and even though they were under stress for two weeks (was my fault) in mid flowering, they performed really good. So it is a stress tolerant variety in my opinion.👌🌱 The buds are large sized and fat with medium resin production and a different scent for each phenotype. They aren’t dense and sticky like some indicas, but that says nothing about their potency. Flowering time was longer than the breeders recommendation but it's worth all the patience. Four plants were harvested 10 weeks after switched to 12/12 and one after 11,5 week. The harvest took place in several phases and some were immediately trimmed, some were hung with leaves. Calyx to leaf ratio was high except one plant so was relatively easy to trim. Plants which were trimmed after drying was easier this time.💚✂️ Based on the name, you'd really think it's a strong sativa strain but actually, this plant is a balanced hybrid, and it shows in both the growth characteristics and the effect. I am satisfied how this grow turned out however I know that it could have been better without my mistakes. In those two mid flowering weeks when the VPN was off and they were in stress I lost both the yield and the quality of the bud structure. So the total weight is 475 grams. 41 grams ore smaller airy popcorns and the rest are nice nuggets. I weighed the plants separately because I stored them also like this for later testing and smoke report.

27/09: I just came back from a 3 day trip so I am just very grateful to see her alive! I immediately watered her (2L, ph 6.3). She is a bit limp and she has purple-ish leaves but I am going to try and figure out what is is and fix it :) 30/09: She just keeps getting more yellow & pink :/ I gave her 1,5/2L of water (ph 6.4) with all listed nutrients. I hope it will help her. 03/10: Gave her 1,5L of water (ph 6.2) with nutrients, she is smelling really nice :)

December, 29th I was Invited By @Silky_smooth for an Eggunt. That means using 50gGrowmedium or less. By using small Growpots Like Eggs, eggholders or Tealightholders or anything like this I found some really nice Growingpots, and i hope i can keep them alive, because of that less soil So i started a few Days ago like everytime Letting the Seeds soak, and then putting them between 2 KitchenSponges After a few Days i got some vital Looking seedlings with tiny roots Monday. Planted them today, waiting for to show up Watered very kindly with some drops of Humic acid- Water

08/30/2021 - Noticing more gnats than usual. Could be overwatering, anaerobic soil conditions, or both. - Going to set up fly traps, starve both the plant and the gnats of water for about a week. - Will observe any stress responses due to an extended dry period.

2021-01-06(day 57): Entering the 5th week of flowering all looks pretty good. She's still budding up and smelling beautifully. Fed her with 2.5l of ph'ed water. I also defoliated her so the light can reach the lower buds. 2021-01-09(day 60): Fed with 3l nutrient solution as given above. 2021-01-12(day 63): Fed with 3.5l of ph'ed water. FBT1 did not like being transplanted at all ! i guess being overwatered stressed her out some, good thing it's early in a way, hopefully she wont be permanently slower 🙏 lol , anyway she's basically healthy now, although last time i watered her it was tuesday last week and now it's friday, medium is still wet though, so no water for her until she dries out some more. Realised i hadnt been spraying my kelp carefully enough the week before so i'm spraying the soil with amino to try to keep pH basically fine until i can water with cal mag and hopefully some co2 enriched water. I pHed down the spray with 0.1g of GHE dry pH down powder to 6.0... rain water is pH 5.5 so i'm okay i think. anyway fbt1 in mrB's so easy i didnt even have to water this week lol. check out the videos, let me know ! 🚀

Here we are, 42 days from seed, and all the plants are fully flowering now. I had to proceed to a strategic defoliation once again because the room is slightly overcrowded, removing a few fan leaves will help getting more air and less humidity at the plant's feet. A few thrips managed to get into the growroom, probably because of other plants that were laying around, so I've added a few ladybugs in the room, they should do the job and eat most of the thrips before they become a real issue, they will prevent a massive colony from appearing. No more Nitrogen from now on (OrganicGrow) because the stretch is over, and I started to add some 'Organic More PK' into my soup. Thanks for stopping-by! 😎
