Otherwise I am quite happy with the development so far.

🌱 Amnesia Skunk — Grow Recap (from seed to now) Strain: Amnesia Skunk Auto-Flower: 12/12 from seed Current age: Week 7 from seed Flowering reference: Week 3 of flower (by morphology, not calendar) How we got here • From day one, this run was intentional: 12/12 from seed, no veg phase. • Plants established quickly with strong root development and steady internodal spacing. • Early structure showed vigorous lateral branching, typical of Amnesia-leaning genetics. • Transition into flower was smooth — no stall, no stress signals. • By early flower, canopy density increased fast, especially in a full 8×8 room (~27 plants). This is where room logic started to matter more than single-plant logic. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Snapshot (current) • Day temp: ~28 °C • RH: ~65% • EC: ~2.4 • pH: ~6.5 • Height: ~40–80 cm • Lighting: LED (multi-layer canopy + under-canopy) On paper? Some growers panic at 28 °C in flower. In practice? This is where understanding beats numbers. ⸻ 🍃 LED, Leaf Temperature & VPD (the part most skip) Under LED lighting, room temperature ≠ what the plant feels. Unlike HPS, LEDs: • Don’t dump infrared heat • Keep leaf surface temperature 2–4 °C cooler than ambient So when: • Room temp ≈ 28 °C • Leaf temp ≈ 24–26 °C • RH ≈ 65% 👉 Leaf VPD lands right in the comfort zone for early–mid flower. And the plants confirm it: • Deep, relaxed green • No tacoing • No stress-praying • Strong internodes • Uniform nutrient uptake across phenotypes That’s real data. We’re not ignoring numbers — we’re letting plant behavior be the final authority. Stability fixing something that isn’t broken. ⸻ ✂️ Defoliation — why it was heavier this week Let’s be very clear: This was not aesthetic defoliation. This was functional, room-driven defoliation. Context matters • 🏠 8×8 room • 🌱 ~27 plants • 🌬️ Airflow, humidity pockets, and light penetration scale very differently at this density A single plant might not ask for it — but the room did. Why we defoliated • Improve airflow through a dense canopy • Reduce micro-humidity pockets • Let photons travel into the canopy, not just hit the top • Reset apical dominance • Refocus energy toward flowering sites Yes — it was heavier than initially planned. But: • Genetics are strong • Roots are dialed • Feed is stable • Plants are healthy Healthy plants recover fast. Stressed plants don’t. Slight light burn on a couple plants had to raise the LED. On the off week Light seems to be allot more effective at civering the space although the plants did not take well to the spectrum/heat adjustment so the first two days i had to ween the light on a couple hours at a time. I could tell when they needed a break because they woukd physically get droopy once they got over whelmed eventually they got used to it tho!

Seeds stared good after sitting in a glass of water overnight and placed directly in rock wool cubes in RDWC buckets. My 1000w MH HID is turned down to 600w and on a light rail mover about 24” above seedlings.

Hey guys! Thanks for stopping in to check out my babies! This is week 2 of flower (days 8-14). This week things really seemed to take off! 🔥 Plants were happy all week long and seemed to grow almost an 1” per day if not more. Buds are developing nicely, no smell yet but nice to see them stackin’. I cut out anything under the trellis that would end up being popcorn buds so the plants could focus on the main colas. Hoping I’ll just have to pull a few leaves here and there from now on. The New Floraflex drip system has been nice! 💯 It has made watering easier and more automated. Water distribution isn’t perfect but I’m sure they aren’t 100% level either. Plants should stop stretching after this next week and should start putting on some size! Stoked to see what these girls can do in week 3! Day by day break down: Day 8 Cut out some lower growth/ leaves blocking bud sites Day 9 Fed all 6 plants. PH: 6.11, PPM: 1136 Day 10 Plants look great. Let them do their thing. Day 12 Fed al 6 plants. PH: 6.05, PPM: 1264 Day 14 sitting at 29” tall right now. Not so stressed on height being be issue. Thinking they might be around 35-40” tall at the max. Stay tuned for next weeks post to see how much these ladies have thickened up!

That's her final week. I realized there are almost no leaves left. I'm not sure what happened. If you have an idea, please leave a comment. Basically, only one of the plants turned out to be very sugary and good-looking. The other two didn't show too many trichomes. The leaves became yellowish and dried. At this point, almost no leaves are left. I'm harvesting it soon.

This week things seem to be getting interesting; changes are noticeable. So far, the bud fattening has been progressing slowly, steadily, and I understand that it will become more noticeable as the days go by. The pistils are still in good condition and growing new ones, as has the number of trichomes. The smell has also intensified, although I still can't quite describe it. By the end of the week, some oxidation is starting to appear on a few pistils, but it's not much. It's been a week of changes, with dry leaves and old leaves starting to appear on the lower parts of the plant. Esta semana parece que el tema empieza a ponerse interesante, se notan cambios. Hasta ahora el engorde de los cogollos fue progresando lentamente, sin prisa pero si pausa y entiendo que a medida que pasen los dias se irá notando más. Los pistilos siguen en buen estado y creciendo de nuevos al igual que aumentó la cantidad de tricomas . El olor también fue en aumentó aunque sigo sin poder describirlo. A finales de semana ya se empieza a ver algo de oxidación en algunos pistilos , poca cosa. Una semana de cambios en los que se empiezan a ver hojas secas, viejas hojas de las partes bajas.

One of the plants was already having problems caused by whitefly. Apparently, the flies deposited some kind of virus that was destroying or "eating" the plant. To preserve the other plants, I took her out of the grow tent. I also started using neem oil every 15 days to prevent issues and avoid whiteflies.

Another week is coming to an end. I've been writing for the last few days because I've been very busy, but I finally had to put a support on one of them so that the plant wouldn't open. The first one smells really good and apparently it's going to be harvested first and the other two aren't as attractive as I expected but... let's wait and see what happens! Happy growing! 🌱🌱

Week 3 starting off strong No nuts just yet still letting the Nector of the gods and FF soil just be my main base for nuts. Also I add some cal mag and PH balance the water. I will probably start adding some noots toward the end of the week when I start seeing some more growth. Green Cure CBD Auto germinated and has sprouted easily. Every seed I started all germinated. So she is getting acclimated, and should start growing very soon. Everything is looking good. I did provide a light feed to help with ph stability in coco. She is off to a good start.
