🌸 Week 3 Flower – Growing Strong, Tall, and Vibrant! 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! It’s already Week 3 in flower, and I’m thrilled to bring you this update because these plants are doing phenomenally well! Some are stretching up so tall that I might have to get creative in the coming weeks! Fruit production is well underway, and it’s absolutely amazing to watch the canopy fill out as these girls reach their potential. Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. ***** Week 4 Veg - December 26/20 to Jan 1/21 ***** The girls were transplanted on Christmas day, after three weeks in the solo cups from seed. They had been growing well in cups but I must admit that I feel the root mass should have been larger after that time period. I am working with a new nutrient line that I have not used before and have not been adding microbes to the feed schedule thus far.........or hardly any. I feel this is why the root system, while looking healthy, is looking too small. Over the next couple weeks will ensure they get lots of microbes in the 1 gal pots to fill those up with roots before moving to 5 gal pots.......the last upsize for this girls. Counting my weeks for finish I am wishing that I had started these girls a couple of weeks sooner so they may not get to veg in the 5 gal pots for a couple of weeks before flipping to flower. For these girls it is still pretty early on in their lives and not many exciting things to happen the first month of seedlings. We have done one upsize and another to go. Keep the feeding in line and follow the week 1 veg feeding for these girls, bringing up the ppm closer to 700ppm range. Overall, happy with first couple of weeks of veg. Need to get more roots going, we will, but otherwise just give them the time to mature and take it easy......they will come along😀 Little more detail....... Dec 26/20, Day 22 Veg - Dry out day after being transplanted yesterday. - Pots were still heavy. - Let the microbes in the media do their thing and start pushing root growth harder than what has been happening. Dec 27/20, Day 23 Veg - Gave the girls a little splash of the left over nutes from two days ago to add a little oxygen and they can take the extra microbes and bacteria right now😀 - 200ml with Microbial Mass and Piranha @ 2ml/L = 650ppm and 5.7pH - They are really happy today!!!! Loving the bigger pot to let those valuable roots expand into nice fluffy new coco and soak up the nutrients👍 Dec 28/20, Day 24 Veg - feeding day today with more water to get some runoff from the 1 gal pots. They have not been watered to runoff yet. - 0.5L each girl with the full line for this week. No other additives, just the IPP line = 700ppm and 5.7pH - seems a little high to jump from around 300ppm to 700 but will follow the companies recommendations👍 Dec 29/20, Day 25 Veg - Dry out day. - they are happy today......not much to add otherwise today Dec 30/20, Day 26 Veg - going to give them another day without watering. - I feel like I should be watering today but I am not as I am not sure how much moisture they will have consumed and the roots need some air to breath so holding off. - think it is a CalMag only feeding tomorrow. Dec 31/20, Day 27 Veg - feed day today since it has been a couple of days. - 500ml with CalMag @ 2ml, Gold Storm @ 7ml, Sea Storm @ 5ml, Blackstorm @ 2ml, Vitamin B @ 0.5ml = 525ppm and 5.7pH - keeping the humic and fluvic acids going in, plus Kelp and CalMag👍 - the girls are happy and seeing forward movement everyday, looking for more aggressive though from the girls. Jan 1/21, Day 28 Veg - doing very well......like really well💪 - didn’t push them today and left them alone for watering, pots of course still had some weight and I didn’t expect them to need today. - Optic Folier Overgrow given today. Folier spray to give them just an extra boost since everything is otherwise dialed in👍 Finishing off the week very strong!!!!!! They have been looking very healthy and perky everyday. The roots are a concern and will be taking it easy on the nutrients for another week yet and keep up the microbes and beneficials. Will get them in line......my hope is too keep their time in the 1 gals down to two weeks max......maybe 10 days?? Looking pretty good ETS as we move through the first upsize. Her stems are stiffening and they are taking varying temps and humidity in the first weeks well. Feeding has been moderate to light and no signs of any issues......again, still pretty early on but its all good so far😎

second week, around 15 days in the pot

Vamos al lío, las plantas se trasplantaron en macetas de 7 Litros, con tierra top crop y plagron mezclada con un poco de coco. El ph se controla en 6.5, la temperatura la tenemos entre 24/21 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El ciclo de crecimiento puse 12h de luz, el foco está al 100% de potencia. Another week down look at that canopy 😍 I think the stretch has finished and there’s no need for the second net so it’s come down. Not a lot a work this week a bit of defo and top dressing. Yeah for the first time this grow no a lot to say I guess……. Till next week let get it 💪🏽

Popped these a couple weeks ago and started rooting them before the move to 5 gallon dwc buckets. 🌱 If these are anything like the last freebies I got from seedsman than I cant wait to bring these ladies to fruition. 😎🌺 I'm excited to see what the next few months brings. 🤞😊

Starting to see the results from the LST now hopefully I still got a few weeks of veg left to fill the pots out some more. I'm watering every 3 days both are having 1.5liters each I'm following the bio bizz feed chart for soil they seem to be pretty happy at the mo! Pictures are from earlier in the week butt the video is from today!

Week 8 Water only at 800ml lowering the lights on temps to 22c (70f) let see if we can get the purple senescence this 5g has been threatening and we know the Velvet Octane will finish with. Every girl is finishing nicely, FROSTY AF, and the smells are fantastic and sweet and slap you in the face the moment you open the tent. These girls are just getting photogenic so more to come next week.

I've no idea what is wrong with this plant. It's like it's diseased, all the leaves are wrinkled. One leave has decided to only grown on one side? Perhaps it had an argument. I've moved the light away but it's not looking good so far.

Reaching peak flower now so added PK into the mix for extra Potassium and Phosphorous over the next 10 days or so. Never had plants soak up this much nutrients without any burn (touch wod) so I'm really impressed with the Vitalink range. These 2 clones are at the back of the tent, and to the bottom and right of the screen in the timelapse.

Day 81 Time to feed the lady again plus added more ffof soil with perlite and clay peebles Day 82 All good, no nutrient burnt @ 1810ppm Day 83 Had to expand the net, added scrog plus some other features, she's a monster it's Giving me a lot of work to do but I'm really happy with this huge lady growing up!! End of week 10 with some videos to show progress!

Today marks week 9 of the red poison auto flower. I started the flushing process this week. The Trichomes were starting to get milkiy on week 8 so I decided to flush the plant since I am looking for 65 to 80 % of milkiy for my final product. I am going to flush for 2 week for the best results (in my opinion) since the medium I am using is soil. Instead of feeding her nutrients on October 16 2019 I just gave her the 1.5 gallons of PH(FOR SOIL 6 - 6.8) water with molasses.. I checked the run off water and the PH was 6.8 and my PPM was high at 1336. So on October 19 2019 I did a extreme flush of my auto in a 7 gallon soil pot. (I have tried flushing with certain agents in the past but from my experience and opinion I feel that flushing with just PH water works fine.) Well I flushed the plant down from 1336 to 336. I would have preferred a PPM level below 200 but the water I am using has a PPM level of 270. I actually ended up using 18 gallons of PH water to flush the plant in order to bring the PPM down from 1336 to 336. The PPM kept kept going down and then back up again after every flush so I had to keep adding gallons of water in order to make sure that at least half of the nutrients were washed from the soil. From this point on I will no longer feed her nutrients. I will just give her the regular amount of PH water I've always given her except the only difference is that I will no longer add nutrients to the water. The only thing I will add is molasses in the PH water in her regular feeding schedule. I am hoping to harvest around the 26 of October.
