Another good week for these girls, they are getting more and more thc day by day, still some weeks to go as we are still on the week 5, this strain is a really easy to grow strain which dont require that much attention, i just provided some guanokalong powders and shes good to go 👍😁

Day 28: I got home from 10 days of holidays and these girls had cruised along as if I had been there with them the whole time. They are very happy, especially the middle one. The small one on the right has always been small, is what it is. She could be a stack little shorty. Time will tell. I did a feed today, top dressed according to Gaia Green at 15 ml/ gal of media which should last approx 2 weeks. I also added a bit more 444 just to make sure there’s enough N during this stretch phase. All 3 have pistols showing and are starting to flower. I was unable to train as much as I’d have liked but is what it is. Sometimes the more indica strains I’ve done are negatively effected by topping and excess training. I removed a couple huge fans that were shading too much of the plant. I also am trying a “super cropping” of top fans to get them out of the way but still save them as a nute source if they need. We’ll see how it goes. The Vipar spectra xs2000 is killling it as usual. As I’ve said 50 times it’s super powerful and I’ve had to raise the light above recommended height as I started to see leaf edge curl and light stress. No problem at all tho, better too powerful and raise it than too weak and have loose buds. I did a micro top just to stop excessive apical meristem stretch and leaving all the other lower branches too low for effective light absorption or burn on the top cola. Happy Growing 🌱

Day 49 Flowering : Hi all. A good week for these sexy ladies with lots of colours starting to dominate the white pistils now. #1 is the smallest in height but is not being tight on her bud production and is showing that the small girls can deliver too. Her buds are very tight and solid to touch now. She smells amazing and still has two weeks to really throw out those swollen pistils and calyx. She is beginning to push the trichromes now and with the addition of the Dragon force , she should really get frosty for the finish. #2 is the biggest of the whole group and has a really nice footprint to her. Her main is a huge swelling tower surrounded by castle turrets putting weight on now too. An amazing example of this strain from Exotic Seeds. She alsonl smells so mangonsweet up close too. I cannot wait to hit this lady after harvest now... #3 Is dried and now in a jar curing up. she finished at a respectable weight for her 39 days flowering time . I got 2.1oz of really potent dark and dusty mangonyasting weed.The hit from such a young plant is shockingly good too. Her age did not seem to affect this at all. Wow what a plant. #4 is on her 42nd day flowering and looks very similar to how the #3 looked prior to harvesting. They have a wedding cake strain look to them and forna week behind , she looks very close to finishing besides her size. It will be an interesting week ahead with the shogun getting busy and the harvest so close too. Be safe

The buds were big and dense, had to harvest a little early because of PM. It’s a great daytime high for getting things done or just forgetting the world for a few hours. I’ve already used the sugar leafs to make some MCT infused oil and it’s awesome, at least a 6 hour min body high. BTW, I don’t measure wet weight as I don’t see the point, I wet trim anyhow.

What we have here today is a gem that I have been looking forward to growing ever since the release of it in 2022. I am a huge citrus fan and I have heard this one is to die for 🤤 This week was good for her! Nothing but water and she slowly fades into harvest. I will update once more before harvest. She is smelling like a HI-C juice box with hints of lemon. Sooooo mouth watering 😱 She veged and is now flowering under the beaslty TSW 2000 from Mars hydro. Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. So I will try to make or grow the plants well or badly without damaging the main cola. Nowadays topping autoflowering plants is very accepted but it is not my favorite thing to transform a baby born to finish in 10 weeks into a baby that finishes in 14, I say at this point I do photoperiodic. But in times of people who only grow autoflowering everything is permitted for goodness sake if you want to do it, do it I will not be the one to stop you. Also because the results are excellent nothing to really discuss about anything except time. All this to tell us that I recommend for example fimming on plants that tend to grow tall to give power to the lateral branches, LST as much as you want, I don't like too much spread out I need space. HST and splitting are with experience. These are my tips not the absolute truth please do not mistake me for a great wise holder of the truth I speak as I see it. The first week went only with Power Roots 1 Ml/l and Pure Zym 1 ml/l from now on we will start with ALga Grow. Finally moved her to the new set up which is a 7 gallon square bucket with compartment lid which make verifying pH or topping up reservoir much easier. From here on she should explode with proper nutrients and care. GHL

Hey! I found something moving in the solution, when I was adding some water. I didn't really know what that was, nether know now. But I decided that they most likely not helpful for the plant, so I added some H2O2 to try kill it, it helped, when I was changing the solution next day, they didn't move anymore. I still added around 5 ml the top of the bucket's solution. It should be a good idea to change the solution after that, I though. I also wanted to wash her roots and sponge from air pump, so I did it 7 times with absolutely clean water and only by the end it wasn't looking terribly dirty. Nice practice to have is rootwashing 😁 Actually, it'd be better if I wouldn't need to do that. But as I did it, I think it helped her. Anyway I didn't stop cutting her, since I was doing it slow, now I cut off some lower branches that had already or would have in the future light deficit. So, now she looks kind of lollipoped too, I guess. It's better now, it was a hot week also. Even I'm growing indoor, actually air-condition is quiet far, and I didn't know how to use it properly. Smell is super strong.

Diese Woche war lollipoppen angesagt. An sich habe ich eigentlich gar nicht so viel untenrum weggenommen. Alle Bad wirken straff und leicht dick und sehen von oben gut belichtet aus. Daher habe ich doch hier eher relativ viel blattmasse weggenommen um schattige Abdeckung zu reduzieren. Auf jeden Fall haben die zuckerblätter schon ordentlich trichoma angesetzt. Viele der großen Blätter sind trichom übersät. Der fruchtige Duft der guawa ist deutlich wahrnehmbar. Die buds wirken fest und werden wahrscheinlich richtig schön hart werden. Allmählich merkt man auch eine leichte Veränderung der Blätter. Ob sich hier noch eine Farbveränderung zeigt?

Ph controlado 6,5 . Maximas de 28 y mínimas de 19, hemos cambiado la bombilla esta semana por una nueva de 400w HPS de sylvania. Veremos cómo avanzan la semana que viene.

Girls grew a lot these two weeks. I was away on vacation and they did fine. Except I wasn't there to control the stretch perfectly. But you don't have to be perfect every time. I managed to take some clones from one monster plant. Fingers crossed she will end up with purple flowers.

14.09.26 die Pflanzen sehen nun bereits deutlich anders aus als noch vor zwei drei Wochen. Von Büschen die eine Wand aus Blättern bilden hin zu Ästen an deren Enden schwerer werdende Knollen baumeln. Gestern habe ich alle Pflanzen 20cm weiter unters Dach gezogen. Es hängen immer noch Buds im Freien bei Regen, aber nun deutlich weniger, ich hoffe damit einiges an Material vor dem viel gefürchteten Schimmel zu bewahren. Heute habe ich die erste von zwei wöchentlichen Dosen (3ml) Frosty Buds von BloomCraft Boosters ins Gieswasser gemischt. Dieses Jahr gehe ich in die Vollen sowohl beim Substrat als auch unerwartet bei Blüteboostern die ich bekommen habe. Happy growing allerseits!

DWC Grow #3 - Week 5 (Day 28–34) | Canopy Takes Over + Trellis/Topping + Space Management (Dec 25–31) Week 5 was the week the plant stopped being “a plant in a bucket” and started being a canopy-management project. Growth turned noticeably more explosive, the footprint expanded fast, and I had to make real decisions about structure, airflow, and tent space. Day 28 (Dec 25) - Explosive growth Came home to a huge jump in growth. The plant looked healthy and vigorous, and it finally felt like the system was “locked in” after the earlier turbulence. Reservoir was stable, roots looked strong, and the canopy started to crowd the tent. I started seriously thinking about topping and how to manage height long-term. Day 29 (Dec 26) - Post-training recovery looks good The plant handled the recent canopy work well and kept pushing new growth. I logged a stable reservoir (temp staying in a good range) and the overall posture looked positive. Water usage was clearly increasing, which matches the jump in biomass. Day 30 (Dec 27) - Strong momentum + dialing light position The plant kept building mass fast. I continued to raise the light slightly as the canopy climbed and nudged intensity upward cautiously (still conservative relative to manufacturer “veg” suggestions). Reservoir readings stayed in the workable zone, and water level continued to drop steadily, confirming she’s drinking. Day 31 (Dec 28) - Steady readings, steady push No big interventions - more “observe, tuck, and keep it stable.” The canopy was getting denser, and I could tell the next phase would be about preventing the tent from turning into a packed, hard-to-service jungle. Day 32 (Dec 29) - Space management: moved extraction hardware outside To reclaim headroom and working space, I moved the inline fan and carbon filter outside the tent. This was purely about space and practicality as the plant expands. I kept an eye on airflow behavior and made sure the setup still pulled properly. Day 33 (Dec 30) - Canopy density reality check Canopy got dense enough that it started feeling like a “light and airflow engineering” problem. I did a light prune (nothing extreme - more like clearing obvious blockers). I also noticed some droop and ended up focusing on reservoir basics: keeping the root zone oxygenated and avoiding a too-high water line. I siphoned out some water to bring the level down. The water looked a bit murky but didn’t smell, which was reassuring. Day 34 (Dec 31) - Hands-off (New Year) I was away for New Year’s, so this was effectively a hands-off day. Sometimes that’s the best thing for me - less temptation to over-adjust. The plan was simply to return, assess water usage, and continue shaping the canopy with minimal stress. Week 5 takeaway: The plant is officially in “take over the tent” mode. Growth is strong, water consumption is increasing, and the limiting factor has shifted from “will she survive?” to “can I keep the environment and structure under control without over-correcting?”
