Because, i think she began to be grilled. Just a little relax for her. Switched to 16_8h light nightschedule. And agaun with white light, FULL POWER. I don’t think I ever had white powdery mildew and I was just noid of every little dust particle that came around. All good. I’m now battling high temps as we don’t have central air and it’s mid 90s outside. Most likely about to buy an ac unit. LST seemed to go ok but we shall see. Overall very pleased w my results so far. Sep 7: what a great plant. Totally love how it’s going. Flowers keep getting fatter and heavier and she’ll be done before the end of September. Sep 8: there a tree root sticking up a bit in my yard which means the plant can be tilted toward the late afternoon sun. This is helpful because the sun is getting really low to the horizon already and we’re down to 13 h of daylight. Plus now direct sun is done in my yard by about 6 pm. Indirect light is okay but you really want direct sun at all times. Videos shows use of 730 nm far red light at dusk. Just a few seconds is all it takes to set the plant into dark mode two hours faster. It’s a bloom booster because you get two bonus hours of darkness or a 26 h day. Very effective but don’t miss a night and you have to adjust the timing each night. When starting this on July 20 Civil Twilight, as listed on timeanddate.com for my location, was at 9:45 and today it was at 8:40 pm. The red light at dusk is a highly recommended trick if you have daily access to your outdoor plants. Also works indoors, of course, and on autos too. Also I think it helps ‘stabilize’ the plant by emphatically putting it into dark mode, and therefore less susceptible to stray light to cause a hermie. Have not had hermie problems in four seasons of using the red light so that is my only ‘proof’ but it is true so far, even with taking flash pics before using the red light. Sep 9: getting heavier and now more branches are weighed down and slumping against the scrog net. Nice problem to have, I know, and without the scrog net some of the branches would be breaking off now. She’s now officially too big and too top heavy to keep moving around the yard in pursuit of direct sun. Sun is much lower to horizon now and direct sun hours are dropping too. Sep 10: getting close to done and getting very top heavy. Awesome. Sep 12: raining today. Has been cool last few nights and some purple colour is just starting to show. I don’t want to overdo fertilizer near the end, but I decided she is showing K deficiency. I’m out of malted barley but I still have potassium silicate, so I used that and some cal-mag. I’m avoiding kelp and molasses or using more P at this late stage because that can make the dried bud hard to burn and that really sucks. So, potassium silicate and cal-mag it is. The potassium silicate raises the pH and it takes about the same volume of vinegar to get the pH down. A good does of acetate is likely good for the bugs in the soil too. Then a squirt of Dr Bronners soap as a surfactant and that also supplies some biodegradable carbon for the bugs in the soil. Seems to work overall and is cheap. Weekly update for these lovely ladies. They smell like a fresh picked Apricot and the flowers are dense to the touch. Half of them are done so they'll be coming out this week to be harvested. I'm excited as the terps on this strain checks all the boxes for me. All in all Happy Growing.

Welcome to week 8 / week 5 of flowering! Heading into week 5 of flowering now. Her buds continue to fatten up nicely and starting to show a blue tint. ✅Day 50: 128oz of water. ✅Day 51: No water. ✅Day 52: No water. ✅Day 53: 128oz of water. ✅Day 54: No water. ✅Day 55: No water. ✅Day 56: 128oz of water.

Day 29, 08.05.2024 1730 - Gave ladies a drink of 500ml water incl. fertilizer each - added two fresh yellow cards - removed my old DIY VPD controller unit (boy I learned a lot - for example that mechanical relais are not as durable as I thought - more on that later maybe) - Both girls look fresh & healthy - I am looking forward to this week! Day 30, 09.05.2024 - No action at all today. They are growing fast! Day 31, 10.05.2024 1000 - Raised the lights by ~5cm again. - thinking about installing a net that holds down leaves and lets the buds (which are uneven in their distance to the light) receive an even amount of light - Today after the "night" there will be a round of drinks again as both of the ladies let their leaves hanging 1700 - gave 500ml water incl. fertilizer 2115 - got the ladies out of the tent to give them an inspection. Both look good (from what I can tell anyways...). Removed 2-3 lower leaves and one smaller bud which do not receive enough light (again: from what I can tell - I don't know what I am doing, just following my gut feeling :D ) - and the biggest change: I installed a SCROG Net / trellus net! I was already able to stretch out the branches and it helps me organize the branches and buds towards a much more even canope. It is currently at about 35cm above the pots with the tops of the first branches poking through Day 33, 12.05.2024 - one round of drinks inkl. Fertilizer: 500ml each. Cheers, drink up! - also rearranged the buds to better fill the net Day 34, 13.04.2024 - another slow day while approaching end of week 5 - installed a 3D printed LED display holder - fit light a charm - soil is bone dry - there will be an early drink tomorrow morning Day 35, 14.05.2024 - Cheers - drink up ladies! Decided to give a tap more: ~600ml each, inkl. Nutrition In the end of week 5 both ladies look healthy and good to go. There are a lot of buds visible - I am curious to see how many of those will not evolve into popcorn buds. The height in the end of the week is ~38cm with Erika II being 1 cm taller than Erika I (who would have thought...)

There's only 20cm of space left above the lamp, and I expect further growth. Supercropping involves first softening the branches between the fingers and then carefully bending them 90°.

Good week this girl is doing well, varied coloration, the buds are compact, the trichomes are creating color, I can go further until the harvest window to avoid loss of yield.

All fine, keep fight with high humidity. Plant B get some yellow leafs, waiting answers about it in grow question. Fun fact: plant b (no toping) smells muuuuuuuuch better.

Lets wait for the two ladies theyll be ready in two weeks. I already started flushing them couple or three days ago I will keep growing in coco this was my first time and not gonna be last.

D-50 : Everyone is doing great ! The one that had a difficiency alert a couple of weeks ago has recovered. Thanks to the community's helpers ! I setup the net 2 days ago so the flowers are driven to the light and covers maximum of space in the tent. Well, with only 3 strains, I'm not sure it's very usefull, but later would be too late, so I'm doing that now. I already know when I'm going to harvest those girls cause I will be in hollydays for one week at the end of december. So, I'll harvest between the 19th december. I also know what will be my next grow : 3 Shogun (RQS) with 3 Chocolate Haze (RQS). All of themp in the 1m² box. I'll try main-lining with two time toppings on them. They should be a litle less tall after that and optimizing the flower production. At the same time I will test the SmartPots. I think I'm good for a 19 weeks session with 7-8 week veg. and 9-10 weeks flo. So I could start the session at the very bigining of january in the second box (Secret Jardin DP60) while the first session is gently drying... D-53 : all is good :) just add Biobizz Microbes today. Let’s see ! D-55 : add Calmag today to the nutrients. Hope it will help the litle Pinapple that shows a bit of deficiencies.
