Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. What a week !!! This was an absolute pleasure to grow , I don't deal with alot of sativa dominant grows, so having something get this much height on one week was pretty cool to see !! This one is about 6 days from going into flower, she REALLY liked to be plucked !!! Not very often do plants take so well from losing their large fan leaves like this one did !!

👍 10/15/2020 It's been 3 weeks since last update so 33 weeks got 2 weeks I think ? Feed some 4-9-3 happy frog 3 tbls and 3 tbls of (DE). 3 weeks left at most. 10/16/2020 There is some nasty weather on the way so I am going to bring her in for the finish going to get out a scope tonight and have a good look at her. But I think two weeks left, also will be under a 11-14 cycle till done. Her mother plant thrived under this light and microclimate. Ps. She's expected to be (FLOWERING!) 10-12 week strain So calyx swelling soon🙏 I almost forgot, she smells like Juicy Fruit gum. Smoked something similar in the 1980's and been searching ever since! Hope she tastes as good as she smells 10/26/2020 Its been 9 weeks and 4 days since start of flower buds are getting harder everyday maybe a week to go. 10/29/2020 10 weeks on the nose. Just water,water and water this week took some branches 2 weeks ago very good for no cure just dried, but With a good trim, and cure should improve over the next couple weeks. Week 10 since switched to 12/12h. (it's in time if the first week of blooming is deducted.) Trichomes're 80% cloudy. I didn't find any amber trichome yet. Pistils are 50% orange 50% white. Today I started flushing the coco (a lot!). I really don't want any sign of fertilizer in my pot. So, from here no more food, only plain water. Suggestions are always welcome!

1/30/21Saturday morning had me lounging, watering, pruning and a photo shoot. I am hoping for a quick recovery from the middle plant after some pruning was done. I was hoping it would stretch one last time so I could move the light but I am parked there for the time. ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND! 1/31/21Yesterday’s work paid off and the plants look a bit more on the dank side today. Today’s feeding day which mean the last for week 11. Happy Growing

Nearing the end. Defoliated and pulled apart the mass of buds that had all grown into a single main cola. I didn't notice but there were multiple buds all cramed together, blocking out light to the inside. After pulling them apart and carefully tying them down I have been able to increase the airflow, trichome, and overall size while also decreasing the excess nitrogen that had built up in those cramped bud sites. Did all this about 5 days ago and ahe is getting even better. Just a few days left. Also, I cut off a little piece yesterday just cause I'm so desperate. Lol. Next update will be harvest!

Week 5 19.01.2020 Day 36 plant is doing great and in a few days it’s going into the bloom box !! I did cut her down a bit and iam still training her with bending her down but she is still comming up very day !! She is literally exploding with new branches and I did some clearing in the middle to let some light in !! Nothing mayor tho

7/28 some light lead pulling removing bottom area and sites that I fill be waste of time taking energy from the tops still RO water and tea every other week
