I highly encourage newbies to run with this strain and don’t look back. Super tolerant that produces both yield and quality. Luckily I didn’t run into any deficiencies, disease, or pests. Temps and humidity where on point the entire run. The only neg would be these girls got wayyyy to tall. I had to remove light hangers to gain 5 inches. Even at that I had buds with 5 inches of a 1000w HPS HID. Hood is air cooled so heat wasn’t an issue but one plant def had light stress. Yield and quality is fantastic. I was hoping for a pound for no real reason other than is sounds cool to yield a full 16 ounces. Even more so than yield I was looking for top notch quality and I must say these girls made it. I’m not sure if they reach the 25% THC the strain is known for but either way the can’t be far behind. Smoke tests reveal a smooth smoke with a slight pungent gassy taste. High hit mid way thru lean cone With an energetic yet relaxing high. Lasted over two hours and I’m no light weight. Saved tones of larf nugs, sugar leaves and fans leaves for batches of butter and maybe some hash. Wife wants some fans leaves for a skin lotion. Overall a great run and next run of the 4 best plants is ready to go. Update 5 days after harvest. Buds are starting dry out but still have plenty of moisture. Prob another 5 days till dry. Smell is increasing by the day becoming really pungent. Canna butter came out awesome. Planning on making some bubble hash with sugar leaves and some larf. Update 8 days after harvest. Buds are dry enough for jars. Hanging buds weighed over 13 oz. Still have a bunch drying in racks After jarring for 8 hours, received a pungent odor. I think these girls are gonna stinkkkk. Hoping the taste is there. Potency is 👌. What a great first experience. Happy with this smooth run with no real issues. Can’t be happier with The product at the end. I made some canna butter and tincture. Wife made some skin lotion. I have bubble bags on the way and 2 ounces of leaf matter and an ounce of larf that’ll be going thru a bunch of washes. This growing this is for me. Tons of work and time but in the end it’s worth it.

Week 2 of flower and week 8 from seed , the plants have really started spewing THC and they are looking and smelling amazing . The Black gelatos color has started coming in some are light purple some are very dark purple . If you'd like to know anything specific please leave a comment and I'll do my best to answer it .

Week 15. 50 days of growth, 49 days flowering, stalled in between (growth phase), which was a good thing, it allowed time to go by and 2 plants were gone by the time she was coming into heavy flower and RH was in a much more desired range of 50-55 still high I know but the last 2 weeks I've been able to bring her right down. I know it's a little to late. But it has frosted up. I'm going to try 2 get more trichs for her final week. I've taken most her fan leafs and some sugar leafs, will hopefully send the plant into an overdrive of sorts and will force the plant to defend itself releasing more sugars and movemebt of fluids to stressed parts. Also I took half of lots of sugar leafs and the remaining fan leafs I cut halfs off. Dunno if this will help but I'm trying new things here, well new for my understanding, not new new (Targeted defol to get extra trichs/resin). Put her on a flush, just 3l she was still eating ppm was 150 from 1l of run-off I caught tap water is 78ppm. Topped her up with flawless finish today her 1st 1l 1 9f 2 for this week she'll get water then another flawless finish on day 6 and ill keep her on that and 1 more watering tben imto dsrk windoe 36-48hrs. Will hang dry, hopefully the whole plant. And will give her a l of water before harvest to prolong drying time for a 10-14 day dry at 55-60%rh 19-21c. Thanks for reading. This will possible be the last update if things get frontier as a result of what I did I'll post updates but what I'm gonna do is already planned. So update will only be on if quality has improved by eye. 16/4/22 Targeted defoliation and trimming the sugar leafs, (be sure just to take some leaf, not frosted). It'll send your plant into overdrive and it'll think she's been eaten alive and it'll force her to defend and prop herself up increasing in resin/long trichs. This is all theory btw. As there is no real way to tell if this works, you'd only know by growing this stain many many times and doing 50/50 And you might, might be able to tell if it's had an impact. But it wont hurt, that's if u don't take too much. So, I checked over and over and over her. Ponderd and then paused, smoked a few blunts, many bongs later and an hour goof. After taking a look after her 12hr rest her stigma is so little and she's flushed. Stopped eating more or less. Maybe she could do with another week. But sadly, 102 days is all I can Will be in the 55-57 day window of flowering after rest. So Barneys are solid in flowering time, id say she'd of only been an 12-13 wker like the zkittlez organic, as when there is little trouble or stalls barneys grow windows are usually spot on. They both gotta come out tbh . Zkittlez I'm going to push to the last day I possibly can. I plan to heavily feed this girl with water tonight (TDA), tomorrow and then 1hr again before harvest. This hopefully will prolong the drying time. When chopped all her sugar, fan leafs will be left on. After she dries for 4-5 days I'll trim off all sugar/fan leafs without frost and then after she's fully dry I'll trim to get to the end product and of course I'll be smoking all frosty trim, if there's enough I'll try my hand at bubble hash. We shall see, either way it'll be smoked as it's frosty as crap. This plant has been a true gem to work with Barneys has truly out did themselves. This was my tester, it was a freebie test seed that was dropped and I was just going to plant q zkittlez but ended up putting my hand in my pocket and guess what, there was a TDA seed it. I was sitting down and dropped it, thought fell through the sofa after it popped out of the seal and thankfully she got planted, as she would of been just another zkittlez, I love it and all, but I'm a little tired of smoking the same stuff tbh. It's lovely and all, but a bit of variety and all that good stuff! Happily I'm going to get some nice and frosty TANGERINE DREAM AUTO. Who knows what she'll give. This week everything is doing fine, getting to see some snow forming up on these plants. And the flushing have been done for this week. B1 and B2 have been reduced and increased in Bulky for the fertilizers.

Week 5 of flower update and this was not a good week at all. The light burn got progressively worse over a 4 day stretch that I was away and couldn’t address it earlier. Torched a few tops pretty good. Likely salvageable but it wont be a pretty finish. The only good news about this is that my 2 100% keeper plants were either unaffected or only minorly. Went full beast mode and ripped apart the whole system just to cut 2” off the legs, clean, prune and then reinstall everything. We’re also gonna swap the cob light with an xs2000 and sf1000 combo. Same power but room for clearance error. If we’re lucky - we still get to the finish with some quality smoke and an initial sampling of this new F1. Jesus - my issues never seem to end these days….

Giorno 2 LST e verrà già pulita con una leggera defogliazione e più che altro lollipopping( solamente 1 nodo in meno per ogni ramo e 2 nei più sviluppati) perché è già più grande della compagna e ha i rami troppo cespugliosi che rovinano il flusso di aria e il loro corretto sviluppo.
