Welcome to week 8 ๐ŸŒฑโœจ The Girl Scout Cookies ladies are doing good so far. I did some more defoliation and lollipopping. I guess the stretch will be done soon. Unfortunately Salem and Morgana are still standing tall in the back. I still have no idea how to get those main stems out of the hotspot. Edit: I installed an automatic watering system today. Individual treatment for every lady. Letโ€™s see how theyโ€™ll like it. ๐Ÿง™โ€โ™‚๏ธ

This week they proceed quickly apart from some small external climate problems still a little too cold but generally everything is ok, no problems neither with water nor with too much ferlizing .. So I can say that everything is going in the right direction! How about?

~ FASTBUDS CHEMDAWG AUTOFLOWER~ 'The history of the Chemdawg strain starts in the early 90s where a group of cannabis breeders from Colorado were following a band on tour and took some of their weed with them, they had named this weed โ€œchem budโ€ due to the unique chemical and diesel flavors. When they got to one of the shows, they sold a couple of grams to a group of friends who quickly realized those were some special buds and, lucky for them, the buds had a couple of Chemdawg seeds (before they actually knew what they were) which they stored. When one of the friends, who was also a cannabis grower, went back to his home on the East Coast, he germinated some of the seeds and started selecting the best phenotypes to continue developing those genetics even further. As you may know by now, his effort paid off, and soon enough there were two versions of this strain going around, one was Indica-dominant and the other was a Sativa-leaning hybrid. Both of these versions quickly spread around and several breeders developed new strains with these genetics, getting known by almost every cannabis consumer, becoming extremely popular and giving birth to a lot of famous strains such as Sour Diesel and OG Kush, although this isnโ€™t confirmed, several old-school growers swear by it.' *content credit to FastBuds _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Spec's: 'These precious genetics were boosted by the Fast Buds team to provide a super tough, potent, and easy-to-grow strain. This Chemdawg Auto from their 'Originals' line grows around 90cm and is very resilient to diseases and colder climates but watch out because if youโ€™re growing outdoors, your neighbors will be able to smell it easily! This strain can be cultivated even by beginner growers due to it requiring minimal maintenance and can produce up to 400gr/m2 in 8-9 weeks, this is one of the shortest varieties FastBuds offers and can be the perfect choice for those growing on a balcony or in a limited grow space. As soon as the trichome production starts, you can expect a terpene profile that resembles a mix of chemicals that is a delicious blend of diesel, gasoline, and petroleum. With up to 20% THC, you can expect a super potent high that will take you into another world and leave you there, while you relax with a strong corporal high that will leave your whole body melting, a perfect effect to relax after a long day of work or inducing a good night of sleep.' *content credit to FastBuds ~Chemdawg Auto~ Genes: Sativa 20%/Indica 80% Genetics: Chemdog Autoflowering Flowering: 8 โ€“ 9 weeks Harvest: 350 โ€“ 400 gr/m2 Height: 60 โ€“ 90 cm THC: Up to 20% CBD: < 1% Autoflowering: Yes ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ THE SETUP: ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with de-chlorinated water with SuperThrive added then ph'd to 6.0 @ 80โ„‰ ~Grown 100% organic in 10g fabric pots with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium amended with 2tbs/g of Down To Earth 4-4-4 / 2 cups/g of Earthworm Castings / 1tbs/g of Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4, 1tbs/g of Dr. Earth Bat Guano, 3/4 cup of Down To Earth Azomite and 1 tsp/g Down To Earth Fish Bone Meal. ~24hr light cycle during Germination / 19/5 light cycle for Vegetation and 12/12 for Flower ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and weekly Compost Tea's. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ WEEKLY UPDATES: 9/6- Day 37 of flower and harvest time is fast approaching with her trichomes, which are now checked daily, maturing rapidly being 80% milky now with the remaining being clear. Daily watering's continue with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.7 @74โ„‰ and also I'm turning her pot 1/4 turn daily as well. 9/8- Well, her trichomes are right about where I like them to be and she's ready for 48hrs. in the dark before I chop and hang her to dry for 10-12 days. I'm watering her with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.7 @74โ„‰ and will continue to water her while she's in the dark (cannabis continues to carry on with it's growth processes even while in the dark) so that her medium doesn't completely dry out. Keeping her watered will also help to extend her drying time to that ideal 10-12 day target. This should be some epic smoke as her buds are absolutely crystalized with trichomes and her smell is AMAZING! ๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿ’š 9/10- Well she's been in the dark for 24hrs. now with 24 more to go. I'm keeping temperatures in the low to mid 60'sโ„‰ and the RH @ 45%. Tomorrow is 'Chop Day'! I'll be taking some pic's of her when she comes out of the dark and during harvest...Stay tuned, this is some ๐Ÿ”ฅ! I am continuing to water while she's in the dark with 0.5g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.8 @67โ„‰ to keep her hydrated. 9/12- Well she's out of the dark where she spent roughly 60 hours. I kept the temp's @ 64โ„‰ and the RH at 45%. After I brought her out I shot a few pictures of her, then plucked off all of the shade leaves. I then cut her off at her base and hung her whole. I'll keep the RH in the room @ 50% for the first 24hrs., then raise it to 55-60% for the remainder of the drying. I have the temperatures in the Dry Room at a constant 65โ„‰ to help preserve the terpenes. Hopefully she'll take 10-12 days to dry to the point that she's ready to be trimmed and jarred! Stay tuned for the harvest of this phenomenal cultivar! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ”ฅ ~Thanks for stopping in! Things are wrapping up and harvest is right around the corner....Stay lifted and be Blessed! ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ™~

Day 36- soil was dry so watered with 1 gal of r.o and 2.5 ml cal mag I tested the runoff at 6.2ph and ppm right at 800 going to give a very light dose of fox farm nutes next water Day 37 and 38- soil still moist just filling humidifier and keeping temps around 78f rh between 45-50% Day 39- soil was dry watered with 1 gallon r.o with 2.5 ml cal mag 3.0ml big bloom and 2.0 ml of grow big and tiger bloom the runoff tested at 6.1 ph and almost 1800 ppm not sure if I should flush the plant now. Ended up flushing a total of 2.5 gallons of r.o until the ppm reached just under 1100 now just hoping I didnโ€™t burn her Day 40 and 41- soil still moist so just filling humidifier good news is she didnโ€™t nute burn but my overreaction flush did cause some very minor nute deficiencies on some lower leaves going to feed nutes tomorrow and this time not flush even if Ppm number is high

Did some high stress training on the painkiller and honey cream maybe it was a bit late for that but I wanted to really make sure that they have a the space they need. Autumn is here and it did start with a lot of rain, I'm a little worried about mold if it's raining non stop. The temperatures dropped down to 10cยฐ in the night and humidity is high, so fingers crossed that no mold will appear. The honey cream finally started to flower properly but she's still around 3 weeks behind the other two strains. The painkiller is getting closer to the finish line, she still has around 2/3weeks to go though. All plants received a lot of thining out removed some branches and leaves, lolipopping style hope this help increase the airflow and prevent mold. Pictures made while it raining.

Finally, 25 weeks i believe... Mold, mildew, bud rot, rain, humidity, crazy wind, frost. Somehow these girls turned out just fine and I am so proud of the end result. I am late posting, everything is pretty much all cured up and ready to smoke. Just finished making some stocking-stuffer jars for friends and family for Christmas. It was interesting to see the different phenotypes from each plant. One was named Average Girl, medium size, medium height. Then there was Big Bitch. She was the tallest and had the skinniest nugs. Next was Dolly.. She had the fattest cones of the 4.. a little shorter than Average Girl. And last was Runt... She was about 2 weeks behind her sisters and about a foot shorter, but she did not get any mold or mildew, and her buds were ginormous. I let her go an extra 2-3 weeks later than her sisters, bringing her into the garage every night at 7 pm, and then waking up at 7 am to put her outside. By far, my favorite plant was Runty. She finished up so nice. Overall smell is Kushy blueberry diesel cat piss with a hint of citrus. Wouldn't grow this strain again just because it did not handle the weather well, and I like a kushier final product, on the taste and nose. That being said, I am a very happy guy right now. Over and out.

The girls have recovered well from my incompetence ( hot solution and too much light) they have took off and are getting some bushiness to them. I will be transplanting to a 2 gallon pot in the very near future. Temps have been high, but the RH has also been high so the VPD hasnโ€™t suffered too much. Started feeding the girls about 1/3 to 1/2 cup water, and by the end of the week we were at nearly a full cup. They are drying back well, and are needing some water every third day or soโ€ฆ

Harvest time for amnesia lemon haze. Intense lemon smell, tall stretchy girl with big sticky buds! While her height almost became an issue, she managed to finish with minimal light stress and just a few signs of foxtailing. Will update in 7-10 days with initial smoke and dry weight. Thanks for tuning in to this grow ๐Ÿ‘ฝ๐ŸŒณ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’š Update - 79 grams dried, minus a couple grams for the smoke test. Buds have a lemon smell and a lemon fruit flavor when smoked.

Hey guys :-) The lady has developed very nicely this week ๐Ÿ‘. Since there will be space in the flowering tent for the next 10 days and it will then be switched over, I will no longer use any training. I'm looking forward to when the bloom starts :-) Otherwise everything was cleaned and checked.
