Clones termination. Mom's flowering. Yep, this is an example of how it should not be done. The clones survived two cases of tip rot and a transplant after cleaning the tips. They finally developed some roots, but still didn’t make it. I kept only one, but I need two. So… the mom is about to start flowering after stretching, and I cut eight branches again to make a second clone. After some bending and tying, the mom returned to the flower room. If your light has a flower mode, now is the time to turn it on. The fast stretch period is over, so add some red light. It helps with yield. This time we’re going to do it right, using the experience from the first attempt at cloning. Check the clones 2–5 times a day. Keep the propagator lid closed at all times, and don’t let water touch the cloning medium. Also, the cubes shouldn’t be soaking wet, just moist. This balance between water content and airflow is crucial for future roots.

The feed on this week's post is for the RQS Wedding Cake Auto. The FB And Bruce Banner got 1 tsp of BAS Coconut powder and 2 tsp of molasses. The Wedding Cake also got a small top dressing of 2 tbsp of craft blend a buildaflower. Im not too sure on what's going on with the wedding cake but im letting it ride out.

Well I said I was leaving her untrained but on day 56 I gently tied back a few branches to open up the canopy. This is looking like it's going to be my best grow yet.

Last final defoliation done, now buds are fully exposed to the lights and the best part, harvest trim will be easier. Still it took me around 8 h altogether to defoliate all of them. Tones of buds and frost , amazing smells. Won't rush will give it a bit more to swell.

WOW these two beauts are really filling out! No complains from me just wish I LST the SBR like i did the Dinafem but at the time the SBR wasn't as bendy as the Dinafem, it is amazing what one bend can do to help produce more bud sites. I'm sure that one big cola from the SBR is going to very nice looking though! My next photoperiod grow I will prob top, LST and trim, but i need to do some research again because I forgot everything lol 😅. My next grow journal is up! Another week already... Well the girls are dialed in perfect, the room is really getting a wonderful smell, and buds are filling in everywhere. Its been 16 days since I switched the time and put the girls into Bloom, and they are filling in like crazy. Not much else to say but that everytime I grow any seeds from Original sensible seeds they grow big and wonderful. Cant wait to try these girls, Banana Sherbert. Well here she is. My first Barney’s auto and I’m very impressed. Grew well, easy, lollipoped, with a great little yield. Expecting 2.5 oz but happy with 2 due to the short timing. Smells like fruity pebbles cereal. Excited to cure and will update with smoke report

I've been working on my tent previous week and updated what's essential in this phase of growth. I've set up a new carbon filter to prevent the smell to distract my kind neigbours and I've purchased a small fan. Both, are serving now well and adding more than needed fresh air to the plants. They're all producing small flowers and hopefully they'll form huge buds by the end of the harvest season. I had small issues with the plant positioned just in front of the fan that is showing some wind burns on leafs but nothing major. I raised the fan and the problem is now gone. Did a top watering this week with some nutes added. Then back to plain RO water in the SIP. Seeing some light burn so lowered the PAR from avg 650 to 550. Tried a Co2 canister but without a proper lung room for this 10 x 5, it was pretty useless. Really getting into this hobby, love the abundance of free knowledge and different techniques available. Starting to resent those who I see bragging about "trade secrets". I've been spending more time in hash making discords, hash making twitch streams, and grower instagrams. It never ceases to amaze me what we can learn for free with some motivation and the internet. *I am growing 4 plants here, but only tracking one.

The pound cake auto is really taking off. I’m happy I didn’t top the plant and just let it do its thing. It’s gonna have big long bugs all over the whole plant is just gonna be nugs. Not sure what I did with this plant but I got the roots perfect this time and it’s showing it the growth of the plant

Smoke smell in curing jars. All have a peculiar smell. Sweet but not strong. When buds taken out no smell on collectively that they have a smell. Smoke it self is very very smooth the flushing must of done it good that's an assumption but the smoke it's grey/white a tinge of black The affects are very heavy no paranoia or anything just a good strong indica smoke RQS have done it again excellent smoke and happy growing I would recommend to anyone. Only thing is I would recommend to anyone is ALWAYS PH YOUR FEED. Everything must be ph'ed it saves you alot of time and makes sure your girls are catered for. Perhaps another time I would use rooting enhancement as there wasn't a lot of roots like I was expecting Happy smoking all PS. The light was 240w So that's 0.44 gram per watt. Probably could of done bette had the small potted one been in a 40L as well.

Well, this strain is surely flowering for a long time, it's still stretching. I wonder if it will stop stretching and start fattening the buds this week... Anyhow, one of the reasons why I don't defoliate much is because the plant does that by itself. When the lower leaves receive almost no light (because all the light is blocked by the thick growing canopy) they start to send their nutrients to the top. When they are donez they just fall off on their own. You see, leaves are like solar panels AND nutrient reserves! Just make sure this process is slow and the leaves that receive light are still very healthy and green. If many leaves are falling or if they fall really fast you gotta make sure is not a deficiency or nutrient lockout! ... Again just water your plant with bloom formula (and a bit of calmag) to an EC that allows you to maintain the plant heathly and the runoff not to high (in my case 1mS/cm). Remember to alternate nutrients and pHd tap water. That's pretty much all left to do from here to harvest. Obviously if you see something wrong try to correct it. Day 66 update. I dropped something on my plant. It bended one branch very badly and severed some leaves and a bud :( Well, accidents happen. Luckily cannabis is a very very resilient plant, one might be surprised at how much this plants can take. Anyhow, taped everything together loosely, pulled the most bent branches upwards with a thread and I will wait for it to heal... If everything goes well, this branches should be even stronger than the others. Let's hope that's my fate! Update day 69. Although I have been feeding with 1.0 mS/cm once, then pHd water then feed again, the run off from today measured 3.0 mS/cm ! It's climbing still. I flushed again, until the runoff was at 1.5 mS/cm. I think I understand what happened, my theory is that the plant needs a lot more water now, but not as many more nutrients. So it takes the 2.5 daily liters of water, but it might only eat the nutrients in 1lt of water, so the rest stays on the roots and accumulates, raising the EC of the soil. So far, by checking EC on the soil once every week or two I have avoided nutrient toxicity and lockout. I think there are two options, either lowering the concentration of nutrients I feed it (so 2.5 lts a day will contain less dissolved nutrients), or spacing out the feedings with more intermediate waterings of plain water. I think I am going to go with the former, next week I will try feeding an EC of 0.8 mS/cm on 3L then tap water and so on from next week on. I prefer to underfeed than to overfeed, which is what I recommend for other boobs, it's better to have some yield than to risk killing the plant. We will get better with time...
