Runtz Fem (mother) is on week 8. It's been a somewhat slow grow. But, I've been able to make a perfect pheno that changed early into a bigger pot does have fast growth for this pheno. It's strong. Hardy & quick to recover & nor easily affected by any issues. These are the perfect traits for my test. It's not about yield. It's about having a quality flower producing pheno. Which I can put 2 clones thar come off the same node set (pair) and are even as clones in appearance & more importantly as genes you can test with in this setting. Week 8 Days 48-53 Day 50, she's ready to be cloned. She'll get 6 hrs of rest. I'll remove the clones and treat them in clonex with rockwool cubes. Have made a humidity dome as I can find the ones I bought years ago. But this will do till rooted in 4-7 days. Day 51 Day 2 clones have survived and going strong at 36hrs later you see they're doing well behind a big pot in my tent (more or less ambient light with a bottle keeping up high RH above 85%. Refreshing air everyday). Keeping my eye on the wool to make sure everything keeps moist. Will be putting both fully rooted clones into 7L pots of exact same mix of Promix soil & using the Terra line from plagron with power roots & Startup (which was gifted by my grow store). Only plagron will be used in these phenos. The mother will remain on Xpert Nutrients and not be given green sensation aswel ad 1 of the 7L clone pots obviously. 3 phenos of the same in all. 1 Xpert Nutrients (full line) 1 Full Plagron (with) Green Sensation 1 Full Plagron (without) Green Sensation 3 phenos 1 mother. 3 different results. She’s finally down 😸 I finished harvesting the lower buds this morning. Most of the buds appeared to have matured. Filled another one and a half hangers, I can’t get over how much this plant has produced. All the buds feel solid to the touch and the trichome coverage is phenomenal. She’s got a really sweet gassy aroma, with a funky backend. I’ve done a final trim on all the top/mid buds, they’re just having a few more days to finish up. Sorry for the lack of pictures, I 100% plan on doing a final smoke report update with an overall yield and plenty of pictures. Made a small test batch of rosin from the final trim, came out fantastic, it’s retained all the smell, it’s ridiculously strong and smokes extremely smooth 😻. I’ve finally got round to trimming the last of the Slurricane and I was amazed with how well she yielded. I got 9 ounces of solid buds that are covered in a ridiculous amount of trichomes! I don’t have any way of testing her but she looks like a 30%+ THC content, absolutely phenomenal buds. I also got 2 ounces of smaller leafier buds that were round the bottom of the plant and a stupid amount of premium quality trim. All this has been frozen to make into Rosin at a later date. The Buds themselves have a unique smell and taste, it’s gassy, but has a strange sweet taste that lingers In the mouth. I’ve never really had anything like it before. She packs an absolute punch! Immediate flushing to the face whether it be Rosin or Flower, I’d say she leans more to the indica side of things, but that could just be me 🤷‍♂️ All the top buds have had a weeks cure and are smoking unbelievably smooth even at this stage 😸 I’m storing some of it in a jar and I’ve posted a pic of the bottom of it, it’s almost completely white from the loose trichomes that have shaken off 😻. The Rosin I’ve made so far has been fantastic and I’ve only used trim, I’ve yet to press any flower, but I reckon she should give some decent returns! Overall she’s ticked a lot of the boxes for things I look for in a decent keeper plant. I’ve got a mother clone vegging so I’ll be running groups in the future. Great plant, great smoke 😻🌱💚

Took 2 clones from my sunset sherbet this week towards the end of the week. There continues to be explosive growth with this plant. I plan on switching to flower in a month or so and we will find out how she really performs.

week 8 in the books lemon is still swelling up but has slowed kinda thinking just packing on some weight now im hoping . Trichs are starting to get cloudy but alot still clear so going to wait until i see mostly cloudy and few amber and start a week or 2 flush on her depending on what her leaves are showing me . smells delish and stickyyyy . amnesia on the other hand is either just taking her sweet time to flower i beleive it say 9 week max to flower which im there or she reverted to a photo or something . If she still hasnt flowered by the time i harvest def gonna switch lights for a lil while and see if that can trigger her . Thats all for this week .

10/7 - Watered today. Plants are looking great. I used less CalMag this time, I don't think the extra N from the 2-0-0 CalMag is needed as much, we'll see how they respond! I also used 10oz of Real Growers Recharge that was aerated for about 12 hours on each plant after watering. Haven't had to do much defoliation and I think I did an "almost perfect" amount. There are still plenty of fan leaves, but every single "top" bud site is not blocked! 10/8 - Not too much to update. Everything is looking great. Daytime RH has been between 50-60%, which is good for now. I did end up picking up a nice portable AC unit to help with keeping temps at 60 during the drying phase. I also bought some Grove Bags for curing, and a heat sealer to make sure I do it right! Still need to get trim bins and some more trimming equipment. I plan on doing a full plant hang to dry, with 60/60 Rh/Temp. This is probably still 4-5 weeks away, but I'm excited!

I probably won't grow this strain again, just due to the growing difficulties, short lifespan, and low yield, although the bud is definitely quality. I learned a lot as this was my first grow, and the next I'm hoping for better yield quantities.

Ok this was my first grow and I made mistakes. -forgot to buffer coco - nutrient burn -started the manlining to early - probably worried to much about every stage these plants. -ended up with fungus gnats And probably appt more I can’t rmeber in the moment. But i learned so much from all of my mistakes and spent so much time researching and seeing in real time how these plants react and grow. I did do some experimentation just a normal top with one blue dream. I topped twice one another blue dream and did a 3 times topped on all the blue dreams and I see why you should at least top three times the eight main colas and spread out the plant I see some of the buds on the one I only topped once not matured at all because there was minimal light other buds were growing so fat it suffocated it basically. I could have probably defoliated and manliness better but ayy. Beginners wil make Mistakes and I’m happy with what came out of these girls. Not excited for trim hail but I am at the same time 😅😅

Last week only watering one time and let the plant dry our for 3-4 days. There is not much to trim as the buds are rock solid and big.

Girls are looking good, though they could have been much larger by this time. I wish I gave them more light and more nuts in the previous weeks. Well, they will have to spend more time in veg. They got topped this week, at the 6th node, and I will do it once more before flipping them, so in total there will be 10 lower branches + 4 tops. I also started misting with CalMag just in case.

Entering week 10 this girl is looking pretty! Smaller buds but great trichrome production, smells great, and looks like another good week. Harvest is close but still a good week or so to finish. I pollinated a branch of my other autoflower, but with this one I just did a couple small flower sites. All growing good Will leave then on to let the seeds finish if need be, will be close as this girl is finishing quicker then the other.

She's looking super healthy,unfortunately I couldn't plant her earlier,but she's a strain that I like cery much and I will grow her again for sure!,let's see how big she gets before flowering starts now that we're in July already.

Really starting to look good!! Seeing some Calcium issues, probably some lockout because I've been diligent about dosing Cal-Mag. Performed a 6 gallon flush with Bush Doctor Sledgehammer PH'd to 5.8. Excited to see these buds plump up!

Day 65 - Maria got some needed defoliation to expose lower nodes to light and increase air circulation through the canopy. She is growing bushy with short internodes. Juanita's new growth looks slightly better, even though growth has slowed down and is very stretchy. Thinking of putting her soul to rest, she's turning out to be a headache in the current tent situation. Day 66 - Maria's growth exploded after yesterday's defoliation. Both plants showed pre-flowers and are both confirmed ladies. 🙂 Day 70 - Both ladies got 1 litre each of plain water. Maria got her lower skirt lollipopped. Also defoliated her from top to expose lower growth to more light. She is still growing very dense. Juanita is showing signs of recovery, new growth is green and purple stems are slowly turning green again I don't like the way she is growing though, internodes are too long. Will have to see what to do with her.
