🌸 Permanent Marker – Week 3 Flower Update Genetics: Permanent Marker (Zamnesia Seeds) Project: Dognabis Cup Example Grow 🌍 ⸻ 👑 Pheno Differences – A Tale of Two Sisters This week, our two Permanent Marker phenos are really stepping into their own identities: • Pheno #2 – steady and compact at ~90 cm, balanced and symmetrical, a queen that keeps her structure tight. • Pheno #1 – aiming straight for the sky 🚀 … currently standing at ~1.95 meters! A true rocket, stretching nearly twice the size of her sister while still keeping the same elegant leaf formation and bud structure. It’s fascinating to see two very different expressions of the same genetics side by side, a reminder of the beauty of phenotype variation and why selective growing is such an art. ⸻ 🌱 Why Week 3 Flower Matters Week 3 is one of the most critical weeks in flowering. Here’s why: • The plants are finishing their initial stretch and stabilizing in height. • Bud sites are setting in, pistils multiplying, and the true architecture of the flowers begins to show. • Nutrient demand shifts from pure vegetative growth into a more balanced call for energy to support flower production. This is the week where the plant defines her frame for the buds to come, too much stress or poor nutrition here can limit yield and structure later on. ⸻ 💧 Nutrition – Simple & Effective We’re keeping it straightforward, leaning on the Aptus Holland super Soil and organic program: • All-in-One Pellets – mixed in the soil from the start, slowly releasing balanced nutrition. • Regulator – helps with nutrient uptake and strengthens the plant structure. • Top Booster – added gently to encourage early bud development. • CalMag – to support strong cell walls and avoid deficiencies. Still, the girls are holding up beautifully: • Room temp: peaking around 31°C • Humidity: ~60% (a bit higher over the last few days) • Soil temp: ~25°C • PPFD (PAR): • Pheno #2 (compact at ~90 cm): 760–780 μmol/m²/s • Pheno #1 (tall at ~1.95 m): 1,000–1,100 μmol/m²/s, reaching closer to the light This difference in PPFD is a natural result of their height difference — with Pheno #1 stretching closer to the light, she’s getting a more intense dose. It’ll be interesting to see how she handles the higher intensity compared to her more compact sister. 💡 Grower’s Note – Balancing Different Phenos Under One Light It’s common in multi-pheno runs to have plants finishing at different heights. Here are a few ways to manage light distribution and avoid stress or uneven growth: • Raise the fixture slightly to reduce intensity for taller plants. • Dim the light (if possible) to bring PPFD down into the sweet spot, while adding supplemental side or under-canopy lighting to support the shorter pheno. • Low-stress training (LST) or gentle bending/tucking of the tallest colas can help bring the canopy closer to even. • Stools or risers under shorter pots can bring compact phenos closer to the light. Every grow space is unique, so it’s all about finding the right balance to keep both phenos thriving. RSV11 grew really well. She has some big musky smelling colas on her. Lots of sagging in the branches from the weight. She has a musky earthy smell. Nice layer of frost as well. I will try to get more information on her by the final weight video. 6/12/25- start 7-й week of flowering-43 day.

We've made it to week 3! (10/12/20) I'm very happy with how the girls are going, they have definitely put in a HUGE amount of work over the past 7 days. Plants 3 & 8 are very similar(extremely fat leaves & extra bushy) Plants 1 & 5 are similar (smaller phenos reacting to nutes slightly differently) & Plants 2, 4, 6 & 7 seem to be a cross between the previously mentioned phenos(not too small and not too big/bushy & reacting to nutes fine) Feel free to compare Week 1, 2 & 3 to see the differences. Nutes are staying the same this week, although I will be spacing feedings out a little bit further(18 hours-ish), as well as feeding straight PH'd water once a fortnight. I am contemplating hooking my simple drip-to-waste irrigation system up, although the girls are pretty close to the medium still and the halos sit 5-10cm above the medium, meaning fan leaves would be drooping onto the wet halos, so I'll give it another week and see how they're doing :) Update 11/12/20 - day 22 The girls have beefed up quite a bit over the last 24 hours, I'm really looking forward to seeing a stretch soon :) No feeding today & will water plain ph'd water tomorrow. Update 12/12/20 - day 23 Gave the girls straight ph'd water today with little run off. Veg growth is really starting to boom now, looking forward to seeing where this grow goes! I'm gladly accepting any tips or tricks, as I'm still only a beginner to indoors. Update 13/12/20 - day 24 Girls are looking great today, not much to report. They didn't get a feed or watering today as the medium was still wet after a pure watering yesterday. Update 14/12/20 - day 25 There's been a big increase in growth over the past 24 hours. All the girls besides the 2 smaller phenos look 100% happy, the smaller ones have looked a little weird since day 1(Weird as in colour of the fan leaves look deficient of something, but I'm not sure what. The girls will be getting a full feeding today. There's still no signs of sex but they are feminised seeds. Update 15/12/20 - day 26 Girls are looking happy today. Temps are back to normal after a heat wave in my city(its only going to get hotter from here on out). No feeding/watering today, pots are heavy/wet enough. Started using iphone for photos now, my only lens for my DSLR is useless for most grow related photos. I will upgrade my lens before next grow. I received my new silenced fan today! I couldnt be any happier :) It is a silenced Sigilventus SE-A150J, which I have set-up with a brand new Can-lite carbon filter. I went from a rocket loud eBay fan to a completely silent inline EC fan :D I hope the girls like the silence! Update 16/12/20 - day 27 The girls are continuing to boom! and I'm over the moon about it :D I gave them a full feeding today. I have seen white pistils coming out of calyx's on most of the girls, so i'm hoping they start to flower soon. I'm having weird issues with my humidity, it seems to be fine at 40-50% for 70% of the day, but the remaing 30% of the day it goes up to 60-65%. Temps stay the same in the 5x5 tent, I have ducted air-con in the house which is on most of the day. Thanks for viewing! :)

She's ready for the chop! What an incredible strain. Super easy to grow, the purples look stunning, she smells of gas, cream and fruit . Gna dry her at 20°C at 50-55 RH for about 7-10 days before weighing her up and updating here. Highly recommended! Thank you @Fast_Buds !

Kicked cup over a little when watering and the seed moved to the side. Don’t really know if I should be concerned about where in the cup it sprouted, also noticed a little discoloration in the leaves turning a little purple ish, so I decided to put a heat mat in the tent and move the light a little closer at night to combat the cold also put heat mat back in tent

Okay so I came up with this incredible method of training that I call "root lining".I figured this out years ago in outdoor season when a deer bulldozed through my med crop and knocked a sweet lady over, that started it all. The plant was completely parallel to the ground with roots growing out of the nodes where contact was made with the ground at the stock. Long story short she ended up being a 14 footer with 6 foot whale dicks! That gave me this little idea that's been non stop producing top quality fat resinous buds. This method increases nutrient uptake and makes a huge difference in quality and size. I essentially main line, really low to the ground, until the stock makes full contact with the ground. I then gently rub the downside of the stock with the back of a butter knife to speed things up and break down the chlorophyll layer. Then I add remo roots gel (see all videos). I then add a sprinkle of coco on top just to barely cover the stock (dont add to thick of a layer as this might "choke" and rot the stock) and mist that spot 2-3 times a day. 3 days later and boom! She'll be pumping out roots and go into full beast mode. Give it a try and you'll never go back!

Topped at the end of week 2 ready to be repotted the following week. Didn't get enough pictures/ videos during earlier veg unfortunately. Moonshine Sunshine Foliar Spray - light must sprayed over plants 3x per week several hours before the lights came on.

La ultima nena. Bajamos la temperatura para poder maximizar su color morado. Lamentablemente de la niña que mas esperábamos fue la que quedo mas pequeña y la que posiblemente de menos, pero como experiencia no esta mal, después de todo, automáticas con lo frio de este clima es algo 😥. De todas maneras, sus frutos se ven bastante firmes y resinosos asi que al menos en potencia, no tendremos nada que envidiar cuando cosechemos :)

I would be lying if I knew how far her flower phase come, this couple weeks been absence only gave me results, and left me with a catalogue nightmare, but thank goodness my previous posts are dated, so it gives a rough idea, but genes differ within strains, some strain grow vigorously at certain stages, and I think this baby hit her phase. She will be my best tree when it comes bud quantity, when it comes to potency, I will have settle with what I encounter and except the outcome.

In week 10 I have some plants, which have grown taller than the rest (canopy is appr. 80 cm high now). In order to not have to raise my lamp, I rather correct their height by 'supercropping' them. Supercropping is a technique developed by SOMA from SOMA_seeds and works VERY WELL. Instead of topping your plants (=cutting off the main stem) it is better to take the main stem between your fingers (appr. 15-20 cm form the top) and brake the fibers inside and then bend it downwords. This way the stem will stay intact and heal itself and you dont loose the main buds growing on it later. In the video above I show and explain how I supercrop a plant. The plants are now getting more and more into flowering and therefore I switch the dimmer on my SANlight EVO4-120 plants to 100% now (see in video above). The BIO NOVA nutrients are increased as well a little bit, so the plants can build big buds.

They were growing a little bit laggy because they didn't geht enough light. I planted them so deep in the ground that they're not laggy anymore. Working hard on this one tho

This week was a very easy one all that was involved was flushing. Flushing two separate times throughout the week involved tap water which was allowed to sit for 24 hours with air stones. Tap water was used first because the PPM of tap water is higher than RO water. Doing this avoids instant deprivation of food for plants, rather than cold turkeying them. As the last week arrives tap water will be replaced by RO water equating to 400PPM or less and given in abundance until PPM meter reads runoff at about the same 400PPM or less.

I've been defoliating slowly trying to keep them small due to a house inspection coming up. Once that's out the way I'll put them in bigger pots then switch to flower. They all outgrew the mutated start and are looking good.
