This is more of an equipment gathering project-first grow so I want to keep it simple and budget friendly, I ordered autos for my first grow but Oregon Elite Seeds sent a free gorilla Girl from Sweet Seeds. Super psyched for my first grow! Day1. Soaked seeds for 4 hours in bottled water, used paper towel method with 100% sprouts within 18 hours inside dark tent at 80 degrees (heater and air purifier) and 40% humidity. Hoping to plant directly into prepared soil (6.9 ph currently) in 24 hours. Day 2. Planted Critical OG Kush and Blackberry Autos 1/4 directly into 8 gallon cloth pots (these are the wrong pots-they are wax lined but the pandemic made getting the aeration pots unavailable-I may have to transfer later). Very lightly watered. i prepared my soil mix and had it acclamated to the grow room. I opened the air vents at each end of the grow room and set heat to 78, placed a bowl of water for humidity and started oscillating fan for airflow. Planted Gorilla Girl in a tupperware dish till i can get something more suitable. I really need another light but shipping just isn't working out. Day 4: 1 OG Critical was culled do to lack of progress. Gorilla Girl hs been repotted and looks fine. The Blackberry are much leggier than the others at this point. I'm watering just enough to get to the roots with bottled spring water. Day5 : the girls just woke up-posted pics. 1 light and 6 plants is not ideal. I'm not sure if I should put the strain that is naturally shorter under the light directly or focus on the tall ones getting enough light to not stretch. Comments appreciated. Day 6: Ligthts off after a 20 hour on cycle. I was concerned that my light insn't adequate spacially. I dropped it down to 15 inches above the seedling and got it tropical in the tent. I also used a 6500k 15 watt shop light for added light color and they enjoyed it, except for 1 had a bit of yellow. I will post photos when they wake up to see how they look after this light/heat/water boost for 20 hours. My Gorilla Girl is the only one that isn't above 2 inches. That one was planted deeper (1 inch instead of1/4th like the others. I did have some "seed helmets" so next time I will go a little over 1/4 inch deep. Qweeby's roots grew like a wad instead of down. I've had to readjust her placement twice because the roots act like they want to be on the surface. I'm excited to see them in 4 hours. I may cull one and start a different seed. The Blackberry Kush is stretchy which seems nice for a new grower like me. I am trying to limit the stretch so they match the Critical OG height but they are hearty toddlers. Day 7: Added a 3000w LED off ebay. I didn't account for the rise in heat but it only got up to 84. Raised it from 18" to 20" and got more air flowing through. One plant has a little yellowing from the inside of the main leaves (inside to out) but it's barely there so I'm going to check PH meter and easy watering since yesterday I did water more then I have thus far-so it could be a little root lock from too much water.

I am an irredeemable wet-trimmer. Trimming this one was reasonably easy, but because there was so much of it ... it still took some time. Some of the "trim" was completely covered by trichomes but I treated her like any other plant in this regard and I'm satisfied with the results. The trim bucket looks ridiculous though. I added a pic of some of the last trim to the gallery. I tried to make a few videos too - I think my videomaking style is called "spaceship flies over woodlands" so please don't judge.. at least there is no audio of me making plane noises.. 💩

Week 6 Day 7 Flower They are all very frosty now, smell is pungent and hairs are turning brown but they still have a lot of potential for more weight yet and the trichs are still clear. I reckon I'm going to run week 7 as normal then run week 8 with shogun dragon force/sumo active and flush with water week 9 and 10. Anyone know if it's ok to run terpinator alongside dragon force and sumo active in last week before final water flush? The npk of terpinator is only 0-0-4 what's your thoughts @shogun your advice is always gold. Weird and wonderful development in the garden, if you look at the pics you will notice that one of the girls has thrown out buds in the centre of it's leaves. I've seen pictures of this before but it's a first in my garden and strange considering it's only one plant yet all are cuts from the same mother grown in the same system feeding from the same reservoir and I've grown from this mother before also but never seen this. Another good week! I fed them once on Monday. A final shot to boost them for finishing up. I am pretty certain they will finish within 2 weeks.I also watered them on Thursday and today (Sunday). I defoliated both plants earlier this week as well. For one, I needed to open the canopy up to help keep the humidity down but, there were a lot of leaves yellowing and turning brown. I was not feeding them correctly... in the sense that I wasn't watering enough in between feeds. There were excess nutrients built up in the soil and I believe that led to the nutrient burn. Also, this was my first and only feed without the Grow Big due to flushing for week 9. I followed the Fox Farm feed schedule... but, I think I needed to understand my plants better! I also believe I stunted these girls! One is about 24" tall and the other is 21" tall. Both on the very low end of the growth chart. Overall, I am very happy!! So much to experience and learn in such a short window of time! I've thoroughly enjoyed this grow! I look forward to the harvest and experiencing all that is to come! One last thing... Anyone use GrowBuddy and any word on what is going on with the current download? I've followed the drama around taking so long and all that (the new hardware soon to be for sale for 2.0)... but, the website now says the software is available for free and working on Macs and Windows.... So, I downloaded it last night and I cannot activate an account. Everything has a greyed over kind of look... So, I assume they took some part of their servers offline... Anyone know if this is accurate and has anyone else activated a new account recently? Thanks for any insight!! Peace!

i accidently bought some unbuffered coco and mixed it with my ussual earth, had major calmag problems in mid-flower but i´m still pleased with the results...also had a little trouble with mold at the end due to bad weather and high humidity in the final weeks of the grow, had to remove a few buds and harvest early @ day 55 of flower....but there's still alot of great looking buds left for me to enjoy and all look mostly done... Just harvested and hung them upside down, currently drying them at constant 19.5-20.5°C and 50-60% RH..will update as soon as they are dry

The plants still grow, form trichomes and increase the resin and smell. Some leaves are starting to turn purple as I like it and the tips are getting big, we are still halfway there, follow me for updates. Patience is the key.🌲

Aquí las fotos de esta nueva semana de vegetación para ambas plantas, cumpliendo así la white widow 23 dias de plantada y la zinfandel 16. La fotos corresponden al 21, 24 y 27 de abril. Por ahora no hay nada más que agregar. Ya que esta semana solo agregué algo de sustrato en ambas y el riego fue de agua reposada con una bomba dando oxígeno por 24hr y un ph de 6,1 a 6,5. Lo que no sé es si realizar alguna tipo de poda más adelante o si mejor las dejo crecer como son, ya que no sé mucho. Existe el temor de dañarlas o estresarlas demasiado. Lo pensaré, también recibo cualquier consejo u observación con ellas!

Sunday, May 29, 2022 Plant #3 is stretching away by a foot over Plant #2. Both Plants looking well but displaying different leaf behaviour (particularly of the upper growth). When well watered, in full sun, Plant # 2 has perky, praying leaves that go down somewhat at night. In the same conditions, Plant #3 has droopy leaves that get even more tucked in at night. It was only from feeling the strong turgidity of the Plant #3 leaves when under good water and comparing them to Plant #2 that I accepted that it was ok and that's just how it wears its' clothes. The red and white pistils are filling out from top to bottom on all stems on Plant #2. Even though it's not as tall as its' neighbour, the six main stems on plant #2 seem proportional to, hopefully, support nice thick colas. Plant #3 is furring out much slower and though I am happy for the height, I am concerned the stems aren't thick enough to support much weight.
