Week 6 and 7 video!

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

Still forming her delicious buds had a lot of heat problems can’t seem to keep them down below 34 reaching 36c highest! 😮 I’m trying different things everyday but I think if I don’t fit ridge vents or tile vents I’ll be having more dramas with this heat! Unless typical UK gives us rain then I’ll be happy lol I’ve added some examples of my heats in the tents the blue one (blue illuminate) is the bananan glue the first yellow one is the fast flowers second is the autos! I have 2 coolers an extraction fan and another fan to blow the heat towards the extractor but still can’t bring it down! I think I’ll go back to my old way until the summer passes on the next ones which are in germ btw! Looking to rotate a harvest every 4 weeks from when I harvest the autos! Wish me luck please buddies the struggle is real!

FBT2402 is getting close to done. I had a lot of issues through the grow. I believe it is pest related. I treated other plants not flowering with neem and the issue stopped on them. So I will be glad to get her done so I can treat everything again, and the room. She does have some colas on her. She could of done so much more though. My bad. Day 44- I need to back off on the water nutes, I am forgetting the soil is strong enough. I will flush with plain water next time. Maybe I should do a plain water foliar feed? I’m still learning. But I think those B vitamins are keeping their metabolism high! Then I feel the need to spoon feed. After giving them much needed calcium, I start adding other things. Those Epsom Salts plus the amino acids on a plant with high metabolism receiving more B1, all while having lots of amended neem cake in the media, is going to be processing a sh*t load of nitrogen! Back to plain water. Another idea, maybe I will flush a little bit, and feed just CalMag. Day 48 I realized I haven’t gotten any pictures in for this week! Not that big of a mistake compared to the one I just corrected! The video is taken when they are back inside for the night as it a cold windy night, and they could use more light. I am not talking because I am sick and can’t talk to well. But it’s just quickly showing how they look after the whole ordeal I am about to mention. So I woke up this morning, and noticed all of the plants were showing subtle signs of a deficiency. Different deficiencies too! Some are going on the calcium deficiency, others potassium, some manganese even maybe a few others to be honest. Sometimes I could only see signs in the old leaves, and other times I would see signs in new leaves. Either way “most” of them were looking pretty good. But something about all this variability with different plants was oddly unsettling to me. I figured I had better stick the soil pH meter in there and make sure it’s not a pH issue. And to my horror, pH of barely 4.5!! More like 4.20! But honestly it was that low!!!! A miracle these plants haven’t locked out yet! But how did this happen? Yes it is all coming together for me. Every water I have been giving feed-water. I have been watering with a little runoff, but not enough runoff to manage what I was putting in! I’ve been “feed-watering” a lot more than usual because the pots are tiny and it’s super hot and mega dry during the days. Like 75-80 degrees (F) and 10-25% relative humidity lately. So no wonder they are drying out fast. All those salts left behind from last feed. So they built up, apparently pretty high. I didn’t think I was feeding too much, especially because I would get a descent amount to drain out the bottoms every time. Either way, I fed too heavy and flushed too little! So I brought out the foxfarm SLEDGEHAMMER!!!!! Did a quick flush, flushed with plain water to get the sledgehammer out, then a recheck on the soil pH meter. Comes out 6.8! So I gave feed-water at ph of 7 afterwords. They were dry enough before all of this, I conveniently avoided damping issues. Now they will dry out and receive plain pH 7 RO water on next watering. I still have lots of doubt as if I have any clue what I am doing! But so far so good. I try to support the microbes as much as possible, i definitely could use their support. And it might be because of the microbes, CalMag and fulvic acid, that has prevented lockout. But yeah the fact the pH in the soil was corrected with a flush, gives me a peace of mind. The other three from “The Hondo Titan” diary had high levels of sulfur to lime, the flush did not fix, so I repotted them in new soil with pH 7. Also those hydroton expanded clay pebbles become rich with acidic salts, because the water leaves and all the nutes and minerals are captured and stored with the pebbles. Good in small levels. But if the pot dries out every day, those pebbles will eventually make the pH meter smack the end suggesting less than pH of 3.5!!!!!!!! But no pebbles were used on these girls thankfully!!

This is one happy plant, she takes any of the training I give her, she’s eating twice a week now, around a gallon a day, just eating to be a real beauty, so so excited to see her at harvest.

Her deficiency seems to got a bit worse with high light intensity (Sanlight with 100%) so I lowered down a bit. Still she is gaining massive mass in the buds and seems to have stopped stretching. I hope to harvest her in week 8-9 to fill my personal stash, cannot wait....

Not much to say other than I am quite dissatisfied with my results. But still got 3 weeks left. I'd say my nuggs are fatten up. As wen I gently squeeze them they do seem quite hard.. 3 weeks left on 3 of the mint choc n a little longer on the rouge 1 lol.. Don't have a clue what strain it is but look n smells amazing. Very sweet smell. Happy growing peeps

Dec 12 @1am: Her light schedule was been bumped down to 14 hrs. I have a photoperiod in the tent that needs a few days for harvest. Haze is now under the 1000W Phlizon/245W power draw lighting. Dec 12 @2:30am: New pot has been amended with approximately 65% fresh coco coir, about 20% worm castings,15% perlite and 17 tablespoons/51 teaspoons (12.75 teaspoons per gallon) in a 4 gallon pot. The pot will be thoroughly rinsed to rid salts from the old coco coir used in the pot. Dec 12 @6pm: Approximately 1" tall Dec 12: I think my dog got ahold of one of her cotyledons, unless it just disappeared. :) Dec 14 @2am: Transplanted to the newly amended pot. I watered her and the fresh coco coir mix she was transplanted into. Dec 14 @11:30pm: Her lighting went from 14 hrs to 24 with both veg and bloom lights on. (Photoperiod in tent harvested)

Day 64 my baby is going really well by now, she s been running fast until now and I think that’s enough with fertiliser. From today o start my flush, I will give today my last dose of regulator and from next irrigation just on controlled water until the end of maturation, I want this baby to eat everything . day 65 started flushing. ph controlled water at 6.0 i think 20 more days at max before m Day 68 First check with micro today. The baby looks already milky and amber on the top buds but the rest of the plant is still transparent. I’ll wait at least until this weekend for a re check maybe I’ll cut her in two rounds. As I be been watching a lot with micro I noticed so many dust and other stuff on the buds so I think I’ll wash her in water. Today watered ph 6. Let’s see! 🌱🔥🌱🔥🌱🔥🔥

if i grew this again i'd make a mother plant, take clones and veg for short time and flip sooner then I did this round. Although people say lec 315 can be 18 inches from canopy (exactly where the platinum yeti was when finished stretching) the trichomes were just milkying up at day 66 of flower prob can run this one a little longer then i did to increase yield a bit more to allow buds to fatten out more and go more to amber trichomes. Smell: Gas ⛽ on jar opening. Ground up has Vanilla 🍪 perfume Taste: Movie theatre butter 🍿 fuel⛽ baked buttery vanilla cookies 🍪 Medical Effects: night time smoke! crazy couch lock, very sedating, helped me sleep😴 strong pain reliever. narcotic type high, slows thoughts down to clear focus calm. Быстрой Веги не вышло, опять залил кокос, любимая тема. Решил пересадить в серамис и большие горшки, корневым стимулятором прошелся. На видео проверял как сосет серамис воду, вроде все нормально. Кормить буду как всех 1,4 ЕС пока. Через недельку переезжаю в другую палатку, с другой лампой и нормальную Вегу дать, заполнить весь бокс.
