Start of Week 7! Day 44 - 12/12 Big difference in the two Cali Snow plants! The centre "Plant 1" is well along in the flowering process with obvious bud sites forming along the small amount of LST I've been able to get going. Got a bit more stretch out of it but it looks like she's settling down but the sativa flowering of this strain is noticeably behind the indica LSD-25 planted same day in my other diary. The other girl "Plant 2" that is far left and was cooked under the dome early in the grow seems to still be in a pre-flower phase and I'm actually getting a lot of decent stretch/growth in the secondary sites. I'll keep an eye on it for the next week to see if I have to set it off myself with a 12/12 cycle but there are a few pistils here and there. Hopefully it's just a little set back in its timing because it's going to turn out to be the biggest of all 3 plants I have going now. Will have the best veg base for flowering for sure. Hopefully I won't have to set it to 12/12 and rob the other two plants I have further along in flower of a few hours of light a day. Gave another feed with upped nutes but still playing it on the low side. Going up a little each feeding and no signs of burn on any of the girls yet. Making sure I'm chasing feeds with plain water and spraying the top layer with plain water here and there to keep any build up at bay; Since the girls aren't big enough for full pot runoff feeds due to small size. Day 48 - 12/16 You can see how different the timing on the two Cali Snow are. I'm loving the extra time with Plant 2 to set up bigger secondary branches and the pistils still seem to be SLOWLY forming near the top and mature sites. In an attempt to avoid switching her to 12/12 to fully trigger the flower, I've let the temperature drop down a bit to the high teens with the light on by lettering in the winter air and keeping the tent open with lights on. Hopefully the lower temp here and there over the next couple days will get it moving. Plant 1 is well along in it's flower. The bud sites are well defined and the stretch seems to be wrapping up bringing it in just a bit bigger than my small LSD-25 in my other diary going right now. Pulled it out and reset some new LST on the plant with a less drastic lean. Clipped a few fan leaves and 3 fingers from the two Cali's, anything blocking light or bunching up too much but tried to leave as much as possible for energy production. The classic Cali Snow smell I was warned about is starting to come in. Even P2 with little to no flowers is throwing off a nice scent. Still tent contained without exhaust for now so no worries on that front. Day 50 - 12/18 Gave them their biggest feeding today in both nutes and volume. Both split a mix of 1ml each PH Perfect MGB with 1tsp Molasses in a gallon of water with a half gallon plain water chase. First time the plants have been big/thirsty enough for a run-off feeding. Will spray top layer in a day to clean top layer of any residue then top with D-Earth sprinkle to let sit until next feed. These girls have gone from identical to fraternal twins. P2 on the left is looking more like the plant I wanted in terms of size and spread. The set back in flowering time has really allowed me to train it up and get lower branches up to a pseudo-canopy. It looks like it's FINALLY about to make the final switch as the still bright pre-flower tops are starting to shoot more pistils and new leaf growth has that telltale upward point as the spread comes to an end. P1 is full flower swing is chugging along nicely as I opened her up main stem up with some selective defoliation and the thin sativa bud structure is slowly but surely coming in. As a new grower, seeing the fatten/faster Indica flower of my LSD-25 right next to the Sativa on the same schedule is a great observational experience. 👽 The smell of the two Cali Snows are finally starting to ripen up. Day 70 of flowering It has only been three days since my last update.. But hence the confusion of days past, I'll update it now again since this is day 70 and that markes week 10. The girls are looking very nice, if I may say so myself. The smell has intensified very much during the last days, yesterday when I opened the tent it really hit me hard in Tha nostrils in a good way. That smell that I couldn't set in words are still present but it smells lovely! I'm not at all sure how fast the trichomes are developing, so I'm checking up on them every day. This leads to alot of uncertainty of when I should start to flush. Some leaves have been yellowing for a while, at a slow pace and I fear that I might start the flush to early or late. But I'm thinking around day 71-75 will be the last day with nutritions. I have uploaded a picture of the trichomes, please let me know what you think?

Week 7

FBA2508-week 1 of Veg This week has been wild. Once the roots made a foundation the upper growth has been explosive the last few days. Really cool to watch and see the daily growth. I introduce calmag and grow nutrients this week starting at a 1/4 strength. All in all they've responded well showing no burn what so ever. Happy Growing

good evening to all, my friends God only know what I spent to keep these gems up, but in cure a thing I swallowed another! The too much warmth in tent has arisen a reaction of strong stress in the plant by transforming their peaks from the shape of fox's tail. This happens in some cases when the temperature is very high in a tent and makes it believe the plant that is still full summer making it bloom and vegetate at the same time

***** Week 11 growth - February 13 to 19, 2021 - Week 2 Flower ***** This girl is looking very nice but she is the shortest of the bunch. She has not growing out as wide and tall as the other girls in the tent but that could have changed with an extra week of Veg. 8 weeks from seed was quite quick to throw a girl into flower so it’s all good.....just noting it👍😃 2nd SCROG layer in now....finally😞 Lots of work to do in cleaning up the lower leaves next week. Will do larger leaf strip and lolipoping when they start focusing more on bud development. Light is at 24” only pulling 310 watt, and the meter at the tops of the girls is roughly 28,500LUX. It is feeling like it’s a little strong for them but it’s close......the curling leaves is slowly increasing on the tops. By the end of the week we are at 400watts and reading 38,500LUX, this should be roughly 980 umol/s/m2.......over 900 and less than 1,000.......should be good for going into week 3. Nutrients switched over to flower schedule and following week 2.....but so-called back a couple of items. Adding some other items beyond IPP line so backing off some of the ppm to compensate. Still only one “feeding” per week. Early flower so hitting the microbes a little harder this week and next and then slowly start backing off. I like Remo’s Natures Candy for sweetener because it has humic, sweetener and old school molasses, amongst other things to feed the microbes as they are in coco. Bud Fusion being used now for pk boost.........no more “red kool-aid”😂 Still adding Rezin from Green Planet becuase it seems to boost my trichome quantity.....Terpinator likely this week as well......increase some of the sulfer to increase aromas. Little more detail....... Feb 13/21 - Day 8 - 3.5L watering with CalMag @ 1ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1ml, Resin @ 1.5ml Feb 14/21 - Day 9 - 2nd SCROG added today.....finally. Plucked a bunch more leaves in the process - watering with microbes only today. Recharge has some molasses in it so just adding that. - 4L water for these girls with Recharge @ 1/2 tsp/gal - 320ppm and 6.0pH Feb 15/21 - Day 10 - today is big feed day....its been 7 days. - 3L each girl with all the IPP line as listed plus silica @ 1ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1ml. (Bud Fusion was 0.2gr/L) - 1325ppm and 6.0pH - Girls gave run off at 3L today so didn’t push past that. Feb 16/21 - Day 11 - some feed left from yesterday so added 6L of plain water to dilute it and watered into the girls tonight. - 3L full feed of nutrients for each girl - 800ppm and 6.1pH Feb 17/21 - Day 12 - 3L each girl with Terpinator and CalMag @ 2ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1ml, Recharge @ 1/2 tsp/gal - 775ppm and 6.1pH - increased light power to 350 watts. Now at 32,500LUX.......take it slow over the next week and keep creeping up. Leaves have a bit of a taco shape coming out and looking fairly serrated at the edges.....pushing the light intensity on the tops👍 - leaf colour on the girls is very good......tips are not burnt either. Feb 18/21 - Day 13 -3L each girl of plain water today - added beneficial bacteria and enzymes @ 1.5ml - 330ppm and 5.9pH - was looking for a little lower pH as I have not been checking runoff. - have to do a leaf strip this weekend......start of week 3. - light power increased again, 400 watts now. Feb 19/21 - Day 14 - day out day.......they have not had one in a bit. - humidity was higher today as door to grow room closed today to assist clones with more humidity. So that takes us through two weeks of flower now. Not knowing this strain enough yet, I suspect feeding will stop at the end of week 6. That leaves four more weeks. I will treat the next two weeks like mid flower for nutes, and the following two weeks as late flower. Feed supplements accordingly. She is a nice plant and looking forward to seeing how her buds form. Looking good ETS!
