eek 2 Flower – The Stretch Is On: Sundae Driver Goes Vertical They’re growing. They’re stretching. They’re thriving. Our Sundae Driver girls have officially entered the second week of flower, and they’re acting like it. At just five weeks from seed, they’re now towering at 66 cm, surging upward with that signature hybrid vigor. Photogenic Queens – A Studio Break Before they get too tall to handle, both girls were taken out for a quick, impromptu studio shoot. This may be the last time they leave the tent, because soon, they’ll be too big, too bulky, and too close to the light to move around easily. We’re documenting them now, not just because they’re stunning, but because these moments are fleeting. The stretch phase is short, intense, and marks the final architecture of your grow. ⸻ Room Conditions – Dancing with the Heat The environment this week continues the late-summer warmth, a little hotter than ideal, but still within range: • 🌡️ Day Temp: 30°C • 💧 Humidity: 58% • 🌬️ VPD: ~1.89 kPa Not perfect for flower, we know—ideal VPD for early flower would be around 1.2–1.5 kPa, but the girls are adapting beautifully. This is a reminder that perfect conditions are rare, but resilience and consistency matter more. The plants aren’t complaining, they’re thriving. ⸻ Nutrients – Still Riding with Aptus Top Booster Just like last week, we’re running the Aptus flower base lineup, now dialed into support this explosive growth phase: • Regulator • CalMag Boost • All-in-One Liquid • Top Booster (replacing Start Booster post-flip) The Top Booster continues to support pre-flower and early bud development. We’re not seeing big clusters of pistils yet, but the hormonal shift is clear. Internodal stacking is beginning, and the upper canopy is filling in. ⸻ Visuals & Under-Canopy Light Game One of the photos this week features a special cameo from the Zephyr Zamnesi, adding a bit of mystery and sparkle to the update. We also get a peek under the canopy where your under-canopy lighting setup is really starting to shine. Why does this matter? • It boosts lower bud site development • Improves light penetration during the stretch • Encourages even canopy performance later in flower Great gear is one thing, but it’s how you use it with intention that elevates a grow. ⸻ What’s Happening + What to Expect 🌱 Happening Now: • Rapid vertical stretch • Strong branching on both phenos • No major flower development yet, just the buildup 🔮 Coming Soon: • The first full signs of bud formation • Pistil clusters at node sites • Nutrient shift demands, watch for increased K/P needs in ~1 week • Possibly… the need to raise your lights! ⸻ Let’s Talk About the Week’s Importance Week 2 Flower is all about transformation. The plant is deciding: “Where will I invest my energy?” This week determines: • Final plant shape • Bud site spacing • Canopy structure going into the stacking phase This is your last week to gently train, open up the canopy, manage the airflow, and prep for the heavy flower development coming in Weeks 3–5. If there’s one message for the community this week, it’s this: 🌸 Stretch is not stress, stretch is potential. Embrace it. Document it. Enjoy the moment. ⸻ Conclusion – Moonbound Sundaes From just a few centimeters to over 60 in a blink—these Sundae Drivers are on a mission. Their upward movement mirrors the energy in your grow: focused, fast, and full of joy. Let’s keep the ride smooth, the feed strong, and the cameras ready. This is the last calm before the buds explode, and you’re right where you should be. — Much love, as always, Your Grow Partner in the Quantum Realm 🌱DD ( Dog Doctor Official ) 📸 Videos, lighting setups, and under-canopy tips coming soon 🔗 Gear links available on request 💬 Always here to talk flower, stretch, or any topic regrding gardening 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. First week of flower has come and gone. Had a slight PH problem in the ladies that with a little help from some growmies we got it fixed just before they started the stretch faze. Now I've done a small defol just to get rid of some bigger fan leafs blocking the lower growth. And cut out anything that was hindered from the dominant branches.. she should get one last defol in two weeks. And will be starting the PK regiment after next week.

Didnt take a ton of photos this week. But flipped the light schedule to trigger flowering. The canopy has filled out beautifully. If i was more patient I would have vegged for a week or two more.

First day went as expected. I put the paper towel in a small see-thru plastic container and put it on the table. With a bit of water and the seeds in side, the germination has now started! Day 2 no progression, moved the tray into my furnace room (pitch black and warm) Day 3 major progression. I got them out and started to prep the jiffy pellets. Shortly after I transferred the roughly half inch tarp roots with seeds into the jiffy pellets, root down, seed up, slightly covered with dirt. I soaked them in water (like a beginner i overwatered heavily knowing what I know now). I placed them back in the tray and put them at a window for light. (Note) the plan was to do outdoor so no light or tent was ordered at this point. Day 4-7 not much progression seeing as the clouds and rain showed up...

This was a great grow under the Unit Farm UF2000 light. Was a great yield for 100 watt light. Thank you again UNITFARMLED_justin. There will be more Unit Farm grows in the future. I will be conducting a photoperiod grow with a UF4000, and the UF2000 in my photoperiods room once my current grow is completed. The flower is very tasty, and potent as it has been in past. Thanks again grow diaries community for the likes, follows, and subscriptions on my YouTube channel. I greatly appreciate the support. Happy growing, and be safe out there 🤜🤛🌱🌱🌱 Ps I named this girl Gretchen, she has a sister plant named Ingrid for those who know where Ingrid is. 🤣🤣🤣

Still going lol. Still not too many amber, but I cut down one of the smaller side growths to dry and test. Keeping up with just water, probably could have added nutes for quite a bit longer, but oh well next time haha. Couple buds moved onto a light bulb and burned pretty badly. Be careful out there!

Hi liebe Community and Welcome Back!

💦Nutrients by Lurpe Solutions - www.lurpenaturalsolutions.com 🌱Substrate PRO-MIX HP BACILLUS + MYCORRHIZAE - www.pthorticulture.com/en/products/pro-mix-hp-biostimulant-plus-mycorrhizae

Week 2 of Veg... OK!! So she's not doing well and I'm scratching my head a little if I'm honest... Since I upgraded to the taller tent and the Telos 6 Pro Slimline all of the plants have been doing AMAZING apart from her! 🤦‍♂️ The growth on all the others is MASSIVELY accelerated While she just sits there moaning her bag off & I don't know why!?! 🤬 Now I know that they're not identical in terms of genetics as they are 3 different species of plant (Cannabis, Pear Drop Cherry Tomatoes & Sweet Peppers) however they are VERY similar & the other 6 have no signs of burning or stress from excess nutrients or any other environmental issues like temperature or humidity problems. It is Day 16 - 30/05/21 My temperatures and humidity have stayed SOLID for the last 6 hours while the lights were on, they are at 120cm height from my babies as recommended... Temps 24-26c Humidity 70-75% They have all had the exact same weak feeds just 2 small mixes from day 10 onwards, the only difference is I have ran roughly 1L of just pure PH'd water through the Cherry Gar-See-Ya seedling as she looks like she has been burnt to crap!!! The plan now is just to leave her alone and see what happens, Let her dry out a bit and then just a drink of water when she wants it... On a good note she is standing up on her own without support now so I'm hoping she can pull through and this will only knock me back a week or 2 which is fine now I have the extra height to play with 👍 Hopefully I'm doing the right thing by her but some helpful comments right now would be VERY welcomed as I'm still a noob and new to growing 🤓... ...Eager to learn though! 🤔 Potgoblin 🌱✌️

Checked the trichomes of both Guava and Frostbanger and they aren't ready yet. Still about 75-80% milky/cloudy and 20-25% clear. The only amber trichomes are on the sugar leaves and fan leaves. I'm surprised how purple/black Guava has gotten since it's not supposed to be that color and is supposed to be sativa-dominant, not short like it is, but certainly not complaining because this pheno will get an A+ for bag appeal! Gelato has some nice purpling now too. I've been flushing Guava for a while but I'll probably start flushing the others since they're probably only a week or two behind Guava. The Zamnesia strains seem to be maturing the slowest of the lot, but still seem perfectly healthy. I've been removing yellow fan leaves and tying up sagging buds as needed. Included a video this time, so check it out!

So… the progress is great because of this beautiful weather. Purple Queen, Hyperion and Critical 2 even got another 2 pair of Leaves. Gorilla Z sadly didn’t make it. She went completely white. Sherbet Queen and Critical 1 are fighting for life but you also can see the progress. I don’t feed them now but I Think I’ll start next week. Also next week if Purple Queen ist gonna make it to the 5th note I’m gonna top her, because she’s a photoperiodic. She has plenty of time to recover. All the other autos won’t be topped, they were already slowed down enough. See you

63 days of flowering have passed, according to various colleagues they are 1/2 weeks behind on the swelling. But to me they look squat enough to pick up. Quite evident smell of sweet Hashy. Fed lightly with Bio Bloom but it was more of a rinse. 2.22l per day for 6 days, including 2 days put 1 drop of Bio Bloom in the irrigation

Top row, left to right: Radical Juice, Mona Lisa, Challah Cake Bottom row, left to right: Sexbud, Blueberry Muffin, SAD Afgani The plants are still stretching quite a bit right now, with some of them naturally more than others. So we placed something under the smaller plants to ensure they all receive the same amount of light. Day 33: First fertilization: EC 1.1, ~60 mg/L nitrogen. Purpose: Mild feeding to observe plant reactions. Day 35+: Observation: Slight interveinal chlorosis (yellowing between leaf veins). Response: Added 0.25g of Epsom salt per liter of water. Change: Epsom salt now added with every watering. Day 36: Light fertilization again: EC 1.2, 77 mg/L nitrogen. Adjustment reason: Increased nitrogen as lower leaves started yellowing due to small (1L) containers. Plant Note: SexBud Issue: Developed male pollen sacs again, as in the previous grow. Action: Pollen sacs were removed; the plant will be monitored. Next Step: If more male flowers appear, the plant will be removed.
