🌿 Lava Cake – Week 4 VEG | Queen Energy & Full Ecosystem Build 🌿 Both Lava Cake phenos are thriving post-transplant—zero signs of stress, branching vigorously, and growing like there’s no tomorrow, they’re glowing like true queens under the summer sun. šŸ‘‘ āø» 🌱 Growth Highlights • Structure: Lateral branches coming in fast and healthy • Leaves: Deep green, thick, full of life—new sets coming in strong • Resilience: No transplant shock observed; they’re in full takeoff mode • Training: Not started yet, but their shape is ideal for light training soon āø» šŸ’§ Nutrient Profile Current feeding recipe (per liter of water): • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml Supports nutrient flow, strengthens cell walls, anti-stress defense. • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml Helping frame formation and boosting photosynthetic power. • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml Serving as the balanced nutrient base. • Aptus Start Booster – 0.2 ml Still enhancing root expansion and early leaf vigor. We’re still watering from below, by filling the tray and letting the substrate absorb from the bottom up, encouraging strong root systems and oxygen-rich zones in the upper soil. āø» šŸŒ”ļø Environment Overview • Room Temp: 27°C • Humidity: 57.4% • COā‚‚: 632 ppm • Water Temp: 18.5°C • pH: 5.83 • EC: 1.01 Everything monitored in real time via the TrolMaster Ecosystem, providing precision control and remote access, yes, even while we’re in the bathroom. šŸ˜‰ āø» šŸ’” Lights & Zones We’ve now expanded our setup into the 8x8 tent, and the Lava Cakes are sharing space with their sisters across two dedicated zones: • Future of Grow – Black Series 600: Full-spectrum power delivering compact, colorful growth. • ThinkGrow Model Ones: Smart spectrum and PPFD control, perfectly synced with the TrolMaster system. Both lighting zones are tuned for veg—intensity dialed in, and spectrum tuned for lush photosynthesis. āø» šŸŒ¬ļø Airflow & Filtration • Exhaust: Two 6ā€ inline fans with carbon filters for odor and purity • TrolMaster Aerofan 6ā€ (controlled by Tent-X controller) • Spider Farmer 6ā€ Inline (controlled by GGS Controller) • Intake: One 6ā€ active intake with filter This full cycle keeps airflow fresh, clean, and optimized, essential for plant metabolism and VPD balance. šŸ’” Why carbon filters even now? Because purity matters. Even in early veg, it keeps the air crisp and microbial risks low. Plus, stealth mode always on. šŸ”‡ āø» šŸ“ˆ Sensors in Action We’re dialing in with: • COā‚‚ sensor (live ppm tracking) • Humidity/Temp sensor • PPFD sensor for light mapping and consistency These tools allow us to optimize every square meter of canopy, ensuring no girl is left behind. āø» 🌿 Looking Ahead • Light training coming soon • Roots will now fully colonize the 11L Amnesia fabric pots • Expect explosive top and side growth • Canopy management will begin as needed • More studio photo sessions—before the girls outgrow the door! šŸ“ø āø» 🧠 Final Notes This is a very special run. The Lava Cakes are being treated like royalty—from tailored nutrients to cutting-edge control systems. The goal: maximum quality, transparency, and education every step of the way. We’re not just growing plants, we’re growing understanding, one leaf at a time. Thank you so much for following our journey. Plant started drooping in the last couple of days. I'm not completely sure but think it's probably from over watering so I'll keep an eye on it over the next few days. Gave the plant another big defoliation and took off all the small stuff that I don't think will become decent buds. Going away for nine days next week so I'm trying to get the water right. UPDATE: left the plant for 24 hrs and it continued to droop. Definitely under watering. Gave it 3 l litres and it's looking normal now.

Not really much to say this week all 10 are growing fine with no problems at all I Will keep removing the larger fan leaves as I go along, I do this in order to try and get as much light to the bottom branches as I can before I switch them to 12/12. This will hopefully keep the canopy as even as it can be without having to do to much training or topping. Day 34 - Looking abit skinny and after the defoliation, but had to remove the middle growth and large fan leaves to get light to them bottom branches and new growth tips. I’m aiming to keep them small and bushy

On day 1 the reservoirs PH is 6.3. The rez is 483 ppm. The girls are looking good and nitrogen toxicity seems to have stopped. On day 2 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.1 to 6.3. The rez is 477 ppm. Trichomes seem to be 10% cloudy so I still have a bit to go i'm thinking 9 weeks should be a good bet! On day 3 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.4 to 6.1. The rez is 500 ppm. On day 4 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 503 ppm. I lowered the ppfd so my tallest received 900 ppfd and an average of 543 ppfd. On day 5 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 519 ppm. I removed some of the extra fan leaves blocking bud sites. On day 6 I changed out the reservoir with only tap water and adjusted the PH from 6.7 to 6.1 with a ppm of 249. The trichomes are maturing and I plan on harvesting on week 8 day 4 of flower. On day 7 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.5 to 6.0. The rez ppm is 250.

420FASTBUDS ORT2109 WEEK 6 These two gorgeous ladies are continuing to be show stoppers. Both appear to be healthy and growing great. I've continued the feed every 3days and so far they're responding well. I've had to put a oil heater in the tent as it's been getting super cold outside and more snow in the forecast. Over all very excited to see the up coming weeks progress as every weeks been different and noticeable. Happy Growing

Skywalker OG — Harvest / Trim / Cure Part 2 — More Giants Enter The Galaxy First of all, once again, apologies for dividing this Skywalker OG harvest series into multiple parts. But honestly… there is simply too much happening here to compress everything into one single report without losing the individuality of these plants. This is not just one harvest. This is: * multiple giant plants * multiple phenotypic expressions * hundreds of photos * countless observations * trimming sessions * drying progression * resin collection * and eventually smoke reviews still to come So instead of rushing through it, we decided to properly catalogue this run the way it deserves. And honestly? These girls earned that respect. āø» Quick Recap — The 12/12 Galaxy This entire project was grown: 12/12 from seed with very little intervention. No heavy training. No aggressive shaping. No topping. Mostly: * gentle canopy opening * leaf tucking * minor defoliation * and allowing the plants themselves to naturally decide their structure And once again, this run keeps proving something fascinating: 12/12 from seed does not necessarily create huge tall plants… …but it can create incredibly efficient plants. Compact. Dense. Heavy. Productive. The only true giant-height exception in the room was the Ghost Train Haze that nearly reached two meters. But these Skywalker OG girls? They stayed more compact vertically while transforming themselves into absolute flower-producing machines. And honestly? That efficiency became ridiculous toward the end. āø» Heavy Enough To Collapse At this stage, all three plants reached the point where their own flower weight became difficult to manage. The branches simply cannot support themselves anymore. Support or no support… these girls are collapsing under pure mass. And honestly? That’s the kind of ā€œproblemā€ growers love having. Huge swollen colas. Dense flower stacking. Rock-solid buds. Resin everywhere. Exactly the type of structure that makes trimming both exciting and slightly terrifying at the same time. Because you already know: these are going to become extremely dense once fully dried. āø» Frost, Density & Structure One thing that keeps standing out over and over again with these Skywalker OG plants is the combination of: * density * frost * and sheer flower volume The flowers are not only big… they are compact. Very compact. The kind of buds where simply pressing lightly already tells you: ā€œThis is going to dry into rock-solid flower.ā€ And visually? Absolutely beautiful. Bright swollen calyxes. Heavy trichome coverage. Long sugar leaves curling outward. Beautiful late-flower fading tones appearing everywhere. Every branch feels loaded. Top flowers. Middle flowers. Lower flowers. No wasted space. āø» Perspective & Scale We also wanted people to properly understand the actual size of these plants. Because sometimes photos alone can be deceptive. So throughout this session we kept including: * hands beside colas * Mr. Baggy appearances * hats * studio comparisons * and even the JBL speaker for scale references And honestly… some of these flowers make normal objects look small. These are serious colas. Not exaggerated internet ā€œlooks big in the photoā€ flowers. Actually big. Actually heavy. Actually difficult to hold comfortably after a while. āø» Mr. Baggy Continues His Internship Of course… Mr. Baggy stayed with us through the entire process again. At this point he’s basically part of the harvest crew. Always supervising. Always present. Always emotionally supporting the trimming sessions. And honestly? The studio moments with: * giant plants * giant colas * cameras * lights * resin-covered gloves * and Mr. Baggy sitting there in the middle of the chaos… became part of the memory of this run itself. āø» Charas — Living Resin One thing we absolutely loved once again during harvest was the amount of resin immediately collecting onto the gloves while handling fresh flowers. The moment fan leaves started coming off: * resin buildup started * fingers became sticky * gloves became greasy * and naturally… charas started forming again. And honestly, we really enjoy talking about charas because many people still don’t fully understand what it is. Charas is one of the oldest forms of cannabis resin collection in the world. Traditionally associated especially with regions of India and Nepal, charas is made by gently rubbing fresh living or freshly harvested cannabis flowers between the hands to collect the resin directly. Historically and spiritually, charas has deep connections with: * traditional medicine * spiritual rituals * Himalayan culture * and even Lord Shiva himself in many traditions. And honestly? There’s something incredibly beautiful about it. Because unlike dry sift or cured trimming resin… this is living resin. Fresh resin. Still full of life, moisture, oils, and volatile aromatic compounds. That’s why we personally separate this experience mentally from the later finger hash collected during dry trimming. Both are beautiful. But fresh charas feels: * softer * richer * oilier * more alive * and incredibly expressive terpene-wise This Skywalker OG produced amazing charas too. Dark. Greasy. Sticky. Easy to collect. The kind of resin that instantly tells you: ā€œThese plants are loaded.ā€ āø» Full Plant Drying Just like the first plant, these girls are now drying whole. Entire plants hanging intact. We personally love this drying style because it slows the process slightly and helps preserve: * terpenes * moisture balance * aroma * and overall cure quality The drying conditions remain: First couple of days: * ~45% RH to help remove the heavier surface moisture from these extremely dense flowers. Then afterward: Remaining drying phase: * ~60% RH * 18–20°C for roughly: 7–10 days depending on how these massive flowers release moisture internally. Because honestly… with buds this dense, patience becomes extremely important. āø» Looking Ahead — Trimming Begins Soon The next reports will most likely focus heavily on: trimming And honestly? We already know these sessions are going to be intense. Because these plants are absolutely packed with: * dense flowers * resin * swollen calyxes * and heavy branching So yes… this series may realistically become: four parts or maybe even five. And honestly? That’s okay. These girls deserve the spotlight. āø» Gratitude And once again… huge thanks to everybody following this journey. To the growers. To the silent viewers. To the curious minds. To the supporters. To the OG followers. To the new followers arriving now. To the skeptics. To the lovers. To the people simply stopping by for a few seconds. To Zamnesia for the genetics behind these beautiful Skywalker OG plants. To Plagron for the nutrients helping drive this run. To Future Of Grow and Lumiflora for the LEDs illuminating this jungle every single day. To everybody building the tools, tents, gear, cameras, and spaces allowing growers to continue sharing knowledge openly. And honestly… personally, we feel extremely fortunate to even witness plants like this growing in front of our eyes. There’s something deeply humbling about watching a seed become this. These truly became: Legends of the 12/12 Galaxy. And their story is still not finished. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. Day22: As said in Week3, I will not keep this perspective for the whole grow, as it doesn't really show the size of the plant. But it gives a nice view of how to top leaves grow :) The flashes that you see in the video is the humidifier. It pumps out vapour every hour for 15mins. So basically a quarter of each second of the video will be when the humidifier runs. Day23: I changed it, as I wanted to see the size as well. Day24 - Day28: Happy, healthy growth.

D1 Looking good! Let’s start into week 6 of flowering. She could be done in two weeks as the description says 7-8 weeks in total, but i guess she will rather need 3 more from now. D5 It’s going alright šŸ‘ She is more than pretty šŸ˜ buds could be a bit bigger by now but i guess she will just grow longer than the 7-8 weeks of flowering and will be fine. The smell is so insane already. Also added my fertilizer into the whole plan started at week 7 D7 End of week 12, 6 weeks of flowering behind 2 to go so happy with those buds already. Counted 10 which are quite equally in size so LST was worse it

Three weeks into flower and things are moving along. I defoliated some of the lower branches and spread out a few branches here and there. Other than that it's the same situation as always. Nutrients are pumping and lights are beaming. Everything is running smooth and all is well with the world. Like some namaste shit going on around here at the moment. Could very well just be the calm before the storm...

Day 22: Drain EC 3 feet high and risin'šŸ˜…( average 3.3 to be exact...) dunno how much whatever-salt is building up in that pots, but it obviuosly doesn't bother the ladies. Dark green colour, very few 'claws', no signs of tipp-burn, new foliage appears in a juicy green and turns dark in an instant, leafs point upwards....... looks like they're happy😊. Planns for this week: - Install the scrog-net - Obsereve plants/soil ( when do i have to feed nutrients again?) otherwise there will be no changes...... Thoughts: These bushy babies will be kind of a challlenge to create this scrog the way i'm used to (basically bending the 4 main main colas to the corners of the tent, upper branches to the walls and spaces between the pants, lower branches to the very center). Now these ladies make so many branches, so close togehter and so equal in length, underneath huge fanleafs..... i'd love to have them in a 100 square meter canna-crib....but in a tent...????? I really hate doin' things without having them planned - but in this case i guess i will have to install the net, start weaving and see what's happening😯 Day 23 Let's keep it positive...... indoor-climate of 64% rh is perfect for my healthšŸ’ŖšŸ˜!!! ......but in my tent it's killing the vpdšŸ˜–. at a lousy 24 degrees C, i'm readin' about 60-64 % rh wich results in about 0.7 to 0.8 kPa.* More figures? Here come the crazyonesšŸ‘»!: pH 5.5; EC 4.2😨 but thats only drain from plant 3....... average was 6.1/3.6 The girls busy produce roots, shoots and leafs....... still very green, still not unhealthy.......few claws, no tipp-burn. Basically a comfortable place to be: It's not bad yet - no work but watering - and it can only get better!!!😁 *VPD issue solved: The sensor hung too close to a fanleaf - didnā€˜t expect this thing beeing so sensitive šŸ˜…. Day 24 Climbed new hights this morning: Plant 1 had an EC of 3.8 - the others didn't climb any higher than yesterday. So maybe we've reached the climax..... šŸ˜‡ Visible growth now - so i installed the scrog-net and will start bending and weaving these days:-) Thoughts: Did beeing out of VPD-range for one day harm my plants? How exact can my sensor measure VPD? after a bit of research i found out: Whatever you buy for less than 200 bucks is far from beeing exact! Even professional sensors have a margin of about +/- 1% in relative humidity. Thermometers at least +/- 0.5 degrees C. This could give some a good guess of the actual VPD BUT: Leaf-temperature-offset is absolute key! Many of our trusted homegrow-equippment isn't even able to measure it (some offer default temp-offset) ....don't wanna go further here - but there's no way to achieve something like a precise VPD-measurement in homegrowing. So why caring for VPD? Even with those less accurate instruments, you may be able to keep your plants in something like a comfort-zone. Way better than only guessing šŸ‘†!!! In case i ran a much higher VPD than planned, yesterday (due to a missplaced sensor) , it will not harm or kill my plants. they might have had a bit of stress from dry air - but nothing to worry about! Day 24: Decreasing salt-levels in the drain - excepting plant 4, wich had an EC of 4.0 - so i guess i'm slowly draining exess-salts from top to bottom and might have collected some build-up. The girls seem to be quite okay. Root-growth is vigorous (there are thick, white roots penetrating through the pots, everywhere), the stems are relatively thin. removed the LST-lines. the Sc.r.o.g: only materiels needed, were a climbing-net for gardening (HDPE) cut to 90x90 for my 1x1 tent, 4 cable-ties and 2 meters of strong rubber-cord. Pre-installed the net with the cable-ties, then weaved the cord around the outter cords of the net, led it aroud the posts and pulled tight. Then brought the net into it's final position. Not as sturdy as with a wooden frame - but i had less than half the work and a bit of freedom to move things if necessary. Any shoot will now be put to the next outter square (relative to the center of each plant) as soon as can be held by the net, without harming the top. Once i moved all of the dominant colas to the next square, i'll have to take 10-15cm steps (vertical growth), to reach the next square. As soon as i have about 70 of my 81 squares filled, i'm going to flip to 12/12. Since i'm plannin' to have them full of sugar when flippin', i don't expect too much of a stretch. This way i hopefully have the longest and strongest shoots framing the shorter ones in the center - so the canopy shapes like a bowl, in order to achieve the most even light distribution possible. Day 25: The main colas visibly reached out for the light - but yet i only moved 1 single shoot to the next square. Girls look good, EC is dropping slowly, climate fine. CU tomorrowšŸ‘‹ day 26: on Track... nothing to worry about...... STAY TUNED šŸ‘ˆ!
